My iPad won't restore - says device not found on iTunes
After letting the battery run down, the ipad 2 says I have to restore. I've fully recharged the battery, hooked the iPad up to the computer it says it is restoring but after the download, it says iTunes does not recognize the device. We really need some help here...... Anyone have any ideas?

HP Officejet 4635 Scan Software says Device Not Found
I just successfully installed my new HP Officejet 4635 and can operate it wirelessly. I am able to print and I can scan if I use the buttons on the device itself to tell it to scan. However, when I try to load the HP software, it says "Device Not Found". I tried using the HP Scan and Print Doc and it says everything is fine, but I still cannot load the HP Scan software. I need to be able to scan multiple pages into one file, and I cannot do this by using the control panel that is on the device itself. Anyone else have this problem?

trying to restore my ipad mini it gets to itunes so far then says can not find device
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary. -
IPod Device not found in iTunes.
My iPhone 4, and iPod Touch 3rd Generation are not being recognized in iTunes at all, but are recognized by my computer.(As a camera.) However, my iPod Classic is.
Both my iPod Touch, and iPhone work on all other computers in my house.(Which run Windows XP 32-bit)
My iPod Touch used to work fine, and when it stopped being recognized I thought it was the iPod. I recently purchased the iPhone a few days ago, and when iTunes didn't recognize that- I knew it was the computer.
I'll give you some basic info to start off.
I am running on a Dell computer, Windows 7 64-bit.
I have the latest version of iTunes on my computer.
I have tried different USB ports/cords.
I have tried restarting my computer/iPhone/iPod Touch multiple times.
I have tried uninstalling everything related to iTunes and reinstalling it.
I have tried updating my drivers multiple times.
I have called Apple Support twice, have done everything they suggested, and they were unable to help.
I am running McAfee Security Center with all default settings, and have been since I got the computer.
I am not positive when my iPod Touch stopped being recognized, but my last backup for it was September 19th, at 6:06PM according to iTunes.
I don't have any system restores prior to October 20th, 2010. So I can't restore it.
I rather not restore my computer to factory setting either.
If anyone knows whats wrong or can help me. I would greatly appreciate it.Can anyone help?

Just bought this thing a couple of days ago but cant seem to get it to install drivers. I have Windows XP Pro. 64 Bit with SP's installed. My spec is:
AMD Athlon 64x2 4600+
1GB OCZ Platinum Ram
Abit Kn9S M/B
400GB Seagate SATAII HD
1x Samsung DVD+-RW
Enermax 380W PSU
Ati Radeon X1550 PCI-E
I can install PVR correctly but when I try to install drivers it says 'device not found' or something along those lines. Also mine is detected as a PC-DTV Receiver - it shows up in Device Manager.
Any ideas guys? Other people have managed to install it on 64 bit machines so I should as well?are there any 64bit drivers for this device? if not, then it won't work under Windows XP x64 Edition

PAD Mini Locked after iOS upgrade, tried reset on iPAD did not work, plugged in and device not appearing in iTUNEs for reset/restore. Just get an Apple Logo then a flashing blue screen as if it is caught booting up. This has happened twice before and iTunes restore fixed it. But this time device not appearing in iTunes.
Running iTunes for PC. But as stated restore has worked before! Any help greatly appreciated!!Place the device in DFU mode and let iTunes restore the device to factory condition.

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

You need to do as provided. If no change after restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.

My 1st generation iPad won't restore
My first gen ipad won't restore. It won't turn on, it won't turn off, it won't show the apple logo when I try to put it in DFU mode, and it won't show the 'connect to itunes' symbol. Basically it won't do anything that all the trouble shooting tips suggest!
When I plug it into the mains via it's charging dock, it flashes the apple logo every 10 or 15 seconds, but when I plug it into the mac it only manages to flash very weakly every 5 seconds or so.
After many attempts, I managed to get itunes to recognise that there was 'an ipad in recovery mode' but every time I tried to restore it, I got the message 'unknown error 1602' and when I looked this up, it basically said it was the same as about 10 other error codes and that all I needed to do was change the USB port and/or restart itunes and/or the mac and it would all be good.
I did all of these things several times and in various permutations but to no avail.
I'm not 100% sure of the operating system on the ipad (and of course I can't check at the minute,) but I'm sure it's iOS 5. something! (I did update regularly, or when prompted by the system, but haven't done it in a while because my wife uses it now.)
My itunes is up to date - Version 11.0.1
I know it's a long-shot but can anyone help?

PKI have a similar problem. But my iPad shows the connect iTunes screen and gives error 2001 when I try to restore it.
My iPad's battery was fine but I didn't use it for like 2 weeks. It's battery would've discharged and it turned off. When I tried to charge through wall socket, it got into the restart loop where it would show apple logo and turn off. So I did the simultaneous holding of Home and Sleep buttons for 10 seconds or more. It started showing connect to iTunes.
When I try to restore, the iTunes does the usual "extracting file" or something and go upto preparing for restore. But the iPad screen turns off from "connect to iTunes" and iTunes gives the error 2001, and the screen is back to connect to iTunes.
Also, if I don't plug in, the iPad seems dead, doesn't wake up or anything. -
I've burnt a digital copy of 3 blu ray dvds onto my iTunes, but i cant sync them to my iPad-an error message says device needs to be authorized, but its only authorised to this computer, i've never tried to use it on any other! Can anyone help?!
Thanks for your reply, but you might have misunderstood it a bit. I'm NOT trying to buy a movie. ****, I'm not even in the actual Apple Store, when this happens I'm in the library not the Store part of iTunes.
To clarify - I have purchased a physical copy of a movie which came with another physical copy which contains the digital copy. The digital copy is on the DVD, all I need is just to transfer this file to my iPod Touch, for example, I'm not trying to download it from the store or repurchase it and it's not any gift code that I've received, the digital copy is on the disc. This is the first time ever that I've purchased something on a disc and I'm not allowed to access it because the disc hasn't been purchased within my country.
So again - I'm not attempting any purchase or download any purchased digital copy - it's on a DVD I own physically so... why is even the region of my Store relevant, the code I enter is (as I assume) just supposed to check if it's a legal genuine copy (which it is, as I've said - there are 6 discs in the pack: 3 movies on 3 Blu-rays and 3 DVD containing these digital copies of them). If I own it, I think that's proof enough that I have the right to use it. I just don't get it. I fully agree with you and understand your point if there was any purchase going on here, but it's not, it's just - I put a disc into my computer and I can't access it -

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Power cycle the router.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved. -
