My ipad connects with my computer, but on the screen it says it's not charging, but it's clearly charging since It was dead the other day and it's been plugged into my computer for a few days. And itunes says its syncing, and it says on the ipad screen it IS syncing but no apps, pictures, etc are presen

When you charge the iPad from your computer - even though it may be charging as it is in your case - it will say not charging. It is charging at a very slow rate - a trickle charge. You should really use the power adapter to charge the battery. You can read about the charging the battery here.

Was all of the content that you are trying to sync, bought with the same Apple ID and iTunes account that you are signed into on the iPad?
Have you selected all of your iTunes content to sync? You must select the content in iTunes if you want to sync the content to the iPad. You must check the Sync Apps heading and then check all of the apps that you want to sync. Do the same thing in all of the other tabs in iTunes as well, movies, photos. music, books and so on.

Are you syncing your Mac Address Book contacts over the air with your iCloud account which is selected with your iCloud account settings on your Mac? You need to do that first followed by logging in with your iCloud account via webmail access using a browser to confirm your Mac Address Book contacts are available in your iCloud online address book.

Okay, so all I did was add a digital copy of a video to my iTunes library. It now won't sync my iPad even though it synced my iPhone, which has the exact same items on it (except my iPhone has WAY more pictures); and according to the usuage meter on the bottom my capacity is 13.83 GB and I have 5.6GB available. How much space is your Other using? You may be able to reduce.

With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. With iOS 5, you can see exactly which applications are taking up the most space. Just head to Settings > General > Usage, and tap the button labeled Show All Apps. The storage section will show you the app and how much storage space it is taking up. Tap on the app name to get a description of the additional storage space being used by the app’s documents and data. You can remove the storage-hogging application and all of its data directly from this screen, or manually remove the data by opening the app. Some applications, especially those designed by Apple, will allow you to remove stored data by swiping from left to right on the item to reveal a Delete button.

I've deleted the iCloud account on the iPad and resigned in - no help. All the settings for accounts are the same on my iPad and iPhone.

It sounds like you have deleted and re added the iCloud account to your iPad but none of the iCloud content will sync to this one device. I have a few things to recommend for you. First, delete the iCloud account again from Settings > iCloud. Then close all the apps on the iPad:

Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that, reset the network settings on your iPad then retest the issue:

previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
recently used Bluetooth accessories
VPN and APN settings

IPad won't sync with my Macbook Pro and iPhone through iCloud

Since I have activated iCloud my Mac Book pro are syncing contact and iCal fine. However, I can't get my iPad to sync with either. I have all the setting set on my iPad for syncing via iCloud but the syncing is not working either way.
Any ideas?

I fixed my problem but not sure how. I got rid of a duplicate email not Mac. Don't think that was it. I did go in and switched all my data to 15 minutes and then back to push. Then suddenly mt iPad synced. I think the key was I looked at other sync problem posts and tried to make sure all my iPad settings were the same s those on my phone and iMac that were syncing

I assume that you are using mobileme from a computer in order to check them. Is the iPad on and connected to a network ?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Hi there. I'm having the same problem: my iPad won't import some photos from a folder, saying that they can't be read. They are all JPEGS and some photos taken at the same time have synched fine, but out of a folder with 200 photos, it only lets me synch 37. I'm synching albums created via Photoshop Elements 6, which has worked fine until now.
I've tried deleting all photos and re-synching, and have also deleted the iPod Photo Cache, but it hasn't made a difference.
The iPad auto-updated to the latest version of iTunes, so maybe that's what's causing it?

you have to go to your atv's settings and remove the sync setup with the in the atvs eyes "old" computer
before you can add the "new" computer as a sync computer
an atv can only be set to sync with 1 and it don't know the "old" computer is not just off

I had to reinstall iTunes and now my iPad won't sync.

I tried to upgrade with 11.1.4 and everything go messed up (Windows 7 user). I ended up going back to a later version of data on my computer. Then I was able to reinstall iTunes. It has been shown there are problems with the latest update of iTunes and Windows computers. What you need to do is remove and reinstall iTunes, and make sure that you follow the steps in this support document exactly. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923. If you do not follow them exactly, you will just compound your problems. Once you do this, you should have no trouble having the phone recognized in iTunes.
