My ipad wont charge
My iPad won't charge. I have tried more than one cable, adapter, and outlet. I have to wiggle the part of the wire where it connects to the actually device and find the perfect position to put the iPad in and now it isn't working
Sounds to be a mechanical issues with the port.
Visit your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.

Could it be the cable? Did you try another one?

For some reason my iPad wont charge at all I'm using the same charger I use on my other iPad n it still won't work
Try giving it a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys, past when you see the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
But if that charger works just fine with your other iPad and not this one, I'd call up your local apple store and make an appointment so they can look at it. Usually when an iPad wont' charge (when plugged into the wall with its supplied charger) it's
Bad outlet
bad power brick
bad cable
and if the charger is working with another iPad then that rules that out and the thing left is something wrong with the 30 pin port on the iPad, or perhaps something with the battery or software that monitors the battery. ANd things like that are beyond a user fix.
On the upside if the device is still under warranty - and barring any obvious signs of abuse or neglect - then it should be covered under the warranty. -
TS3274 My iPad wont charge when I connect it to power
My iPad wont charge when I connect it to power. I have restarted it but the problem seems to be that it doesn't recongise the actual charger. Any ideas?
First ensure you are using a 10 watt/2 amp charger if you are not using the one included with the iPad. Then I would try a new sync cable. You can then test the charger by connecting another USB based device such as an iPod or iPhone to it to see if it charges. If the iPad is completely dead it may require some charge time before it will become responsive. If the sync cable and charger work fine with other devices you iPad is probably defective and requires repair.

ipad wont charge when connected to laptop but charges when connected to wall outlet
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. My ipad wont charged when connected to laptop. HELP?!!!
my ipad wont charged when connected to my laptop. Anyone know how to fix that. thanks, much appreciated
Also, just noticed this now....i have it connected and its got no battery. It will shut off like it died (while connected to the laptop) and then after a few minuted it will turn on. with the battery icon saying "not charging"Chances are your USB port is charging but only when the screen is off. This is e behaviour i get from our pcs.
Make a note of the battery level, plug it in and make sure the screen is off, after and hour check the battery level.
It should have charged a bit but very, VERY slowly.
Your computer port normally only delivers 500mha of power. Some modern macs deliver 1100mha. Anything less than 1000mha wont charge with the screen in.
The iPhone charge delivers 1000mha and the iPad charger delivers 2100mha.
So it not charging via the computer is normal. -

Since i did the 7.0.4 update, my mini ipad wont charge with the factory supplied charger and cord. I bought a new cord and charger and it still would not charge. I only have it 8 months. Help
At 8 months you're still within the one-year warranty (even without extended AppleCare warranty).
I would suggest taking the device (and your chargers) to an Apple Store if there is one nearby, or call AppleCare at 1-800-275-2273 in the U.S. (see http://www.apple.com/contact/ for AppleCare support numbers outside the U.S.) to see about getting the device serviced. -

Ipad wont charge wall or computer
I plug my Ipad (1) into the wall or computer and it wont charge --- takes days --- now I dont think it charging at all. What can I do?
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Failure to charge usually is caused by
A bad wall outlet (iPads do not charge efficiently when connected to a computer)
A bad cable
A bad charger
If you can rule these out by connecting or using other chargers, cables and outlets and you did the reset me tend able then Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -

Are you using the iPad charger? Make sure the 30-pin connector is fully seated in the side of the iPad.

My iPad2 will not charge all of a sudden I don't know why. I'm using a wall charger and the battery symbol doesn't show up as being charged.
Could be the cable, charger or iPad. Plug the cable into your computer, if it says not charging, the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

IPAD wont charge to 100% in one shot
I never noticed this when I got the ipad but it seems like the past 3 for months I have had this issue.
I bought my Ipad new from an Apple store in Sept 2012 so I think it is an IPAD 2.
Using the charger provided .. if my battery is at 15% I will plug it in and go to bed.
The next morning I wake up and it is at 68%.. or 71%.. sometimes 80% and "Not Charging"
I unplug it and plug it back in and I can get to 90% .. then . "Not Charging"
Unplug it again and check back and 100% Not Charging.
I think when I got it it would just go up to 100% overnight .. I dont remember seeing the Not Charging even at 100%
I have not tried a new power supply because they are pretty expensive for something I might not actually need.
Thoughts? Not normal. Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation. The charger is still covered by Apple's 1-year warranty. If defective, you'll get a free replacement
