Sounds like you have VoiceOver (one of the accessibility features) 'on'. Try triple-clicking the home button and see if that turns it off, and if it does you can then change what a triple-click does via Settings > General > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut (or Triple-Click Home depending upon the iOS version).
If that doesn't turn it off then you can either turn it off directly on the iPad (you need to use a tap-to-select and then double-tap to activate/type process and 3 fingered scrolling) to go into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn VoiceOver 'off', or you can do it by connecting to your computer's iTunes (after typing in your passcode via the tap/double-tap process) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064

Ok will check, as of right now I have 82.57gb free, that's plenty of space will check the disk though using disk utility. Also I am now downloading the update from the apple website instead of going through software update

Very disappointed in my LG G2. My screen freezes all the time especially when texting. This started after the update. My husband's phone is doing the same thing. We have done a hard reset, deleted pics and videos to clean up the phone but nothing helps. Any suggestions? Our phones are new.
Lots of Frustration. In some cases the LGG2 is rendered useless even as a phone.
Here is what I did.
Got replacement Phone.
Same problems but I shut down all apps that I purchased even though they worked before KitKat.
Found that If I have both WiFi and LTE Data on at the same time battery chewing stops. Do Not know why.
Then I got 2 CM free utilities. The Clean and Wash utilities. Run them and find the culprits grinding CPU
cycles and running down the battery. Number One is the Verizon Voice Mail service constantly turning on and off
and retrieving data not there. Turn of the extra Voice mail and use the old access with the *6. Unless you have
100 messages a day for business your hosed until this KitKat issue is fixed. Get the CM battery utility.
YOU can see the battery suckers and shut them down when not using automatically.
Start putting back one application at a time you used often and see it they work and if the utilities will tune them
down if they cause problems. The LG will get better but with some limitations.
LG and Verizon have a problem with what was a great phone.turned bad overnight.

My CS6 program that has never had a problem before, is not telling me that there is an error and that it "unexpectedly quit" when I simply try to launch the program. I have restarted my computer several times. It does the same thing each time. So then I tried uninstalling the program and re-installing. It said that it could not install due to an error. So I STILL can't launch my program. I don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated. I have to edit photos for a photoshoot and return them tomorrow. :/

My ipod has a black screen. I have tried to hold the sleep/off button and menu button at the same time with no luck. I connected to my computer and tried restore on itunes - still with a black screen a voice said "screen locked' code 542
Is the iPad charged? Plug it in with the charger/wall outlet for half an hour and try again to reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears.

iPhoto -share to email not working-The email server didn’t recognize your username/password combination- for hotmail and big pond- since apple technical support re-hotmail on iPhone.
in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it
OR
IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

I had 2 iPhone 3G's, one of them screwed up and wouldn't recieve service. Up until then when I backed them up to my computer all was good, then one of them would update and all but a screen would pop up and tell me it couldn't back up to my computer. Recently I replaced the bad tele with an iPhone 4 and it does the same thing while the other iPhone 3G still backs up fine.......What up!!! Help please. Don't wanna lose my info..
I banged my head on the wall with the same problem for two days. Tried everything mentioned, and this worked, finally. The problem is that the backup files are not where you think they are.
You need to delete the MobilSync backup folder. I have a Mac. Went to /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup and deleted the Backup folder.
Fixed the problem. Give it a try and good luck! -
Okay; more details. I have account A with Main adress email No1, and as rescue adress email No2.
Then, I have an account B with Main adress email No3, and as rescue adress email No4.
I want to change Account A to have email No4 as Main adress, but it does not let me as Adress No4 is already used in account B.
So; I try to change the rescue adresses.
When I connect to accoun A, I see all the options explained, and I can change the rescue adress. But when I connect to Account B, I do not see the same options in the "Security and password" section. Therefore; I cannot change the rescue amail. Can someone help ???Call Apple Care for your country and request that they assist you in resetting the security questions.

I have an OLD mac G5 (2004). I have leopard 10.5 - can't go higher than that on this machine. I don't know what else you want to know.
I would like to know how to uninstall it or what to do to make it work. I can't open Firefox at all. It says there is already a copy open but I can't find it.Ok I discovered my problem. Before I downloaded FF4 I had gone and dragged my "profile" folder onto my desktop. I kept getting the "a copy is already open message" and in my Apps folder FireFox was there but shadowed out with a circle with a line through it. I redownloaded FF4 after putting my "profile" folder onto a USB stick.
After I got FF4 reinstalled I went to Users>Library>Application Support>Firefox>Profile and discovered that I had no profile folder so I simply dragged and dropped the one from the USB stick onto there and bam Firefox 4 opened in all it's glory with all my old bookmarks and everything. -

Hi all,
It's been a long time since I was on here... well here goes(I need a bit of technical help with a question if I may)
This client of wants a flash video player of a model, modeling some clothes.
They are going to set up 3 different cameras around her at the same time filming her - one from the front, one from the side and one from the back. Each clip lasts exactly 3mins and they are filming her at THE SAME TIME.
Now after this, they want to put a FLASHPLAYER on their website with the video playing in a screen with 3 buttons underneath one saying FRONT VIEW, one saying SIDE VIEW AND one saying BACK VIEW. The three separate videos will be integrated in some way with this one flash file.
The video player might start playing the FRONT VIEW first.
BUT lets say 30 seconds into the clip I press the SIDE VIEW button the video switches to the side view on 30 seconds - The side view video doesn't play right from the start. Like I said before for example if the person is speaking and says "hello there", if you switch angle by clicking one of the buttons just at the point after she has said the word "hello", you switch to the angle where he is just about to say "there". If you see what I mean.
As I said before there are 3 separate video clips:- FRONT VIEW, SIDE VIEW and BACK VIEW. Now I am not sure if these have to be embedded in the FLA file or can be contained in a separate folder on the server so that the SWF can access them. I am worry about streaming over the internet thats why I THINK Flash Media Server3 MIGHT be a solution BUT I don't know. BUT they must be seamless.
AGAIN to reiterate...LETS say I am watching the SIDE view 30 seconds after the clip has started and the model starts scatching her head and then AT THAT POINT I click the front view button below I see the model scratching her head from the front view at THAT precise moment.
So all the videos seem to work at the same time to the casual viewer/user and it looks as though you are just switching views whenever you want.
I have been looking all over the net to see if someone has produced a working example or if there is a tutorial somewhere but I have found NOTHING.
I think there might be a problem pulling this one off as each video clip could be 4-5 MB in size and if they are streaming then there would be download problems and these videos might stop due to people with various bandwidth restrictions UNLESS all the videos were integrated into the flash library and were referenced from within by Actionscript but then the resultant SWF could be HUGE.
I would really appreciate any help/suggestions here and any link to any working samples on the NET that I can download and disect at my leisure.

CheersUse Flash Media Server to stream the files.......set up a timer and have all three of them play at once....and have a button switch the streams depending upon which stream you want to play.....and wallah......
you can also capture the stream.time from the video playing and resume from that point on the other videos as well....havent done this theoretically so I dont know how smooth the transistion between streams will be....but it can be done....
plus u may have to use double buffering techniques to make sure it starts up right away......

Normally very quick to do so, I’ve been hesitant to upgrade to Mavericks based on so many issues being reported with Mail + Gmail.
Previously Apple released a fix for these issues and I still waited a while. This weekend I upgraded to Mavericks and Mail is definitely not working as I’d expect it.
Some of the things I notice include:
1) My saved mail folders, previously in alphabetical order, are now in reverse alphabetical order and dragging them to be in a different order has no effect
2) Previously when I clicked on a message and pressed Message > Remove Attachments the message would reappear in my inbox within a second or two, without the attachment. Now, the message simply disappears.
3) The little red icon no longer appears in the dock when a new message arrives
4) For my various accounts, signatures do not appear/disappear as I select a different From account (each of my accounts has different signatures).
Does anyone have thoughts on any of these items?

AVReceive2 and AVTransmit2 not work the same...HELP
I am using AVReceive2 and AVTranmit2 in a programs I am developing. I have run the two programs as the standalones they are and I get the video or audio I send across. But in my program when the program calls up the routines it launches and only does a hand full of what it should do. It is also like the SessionListener, ControllerListener, and ReceiveStreamListener are missing. The program listens for a RTP connection to come in but it never completes the action when I know that there is a connection being attemped. The same istrue for the AVTransmit2 it does not create the RTP session that I know is supposed to go out. It is like skipping a large piece of code. Even though they are all contained correctly. If someone can give me an answer to why these two programs work out side of what I am doing and why they are not in what I am building it would be highly appreciated. ASAP I need this working by tomorrow morning. Thanks
