My IPad2 has recently had overlapping images
When I am on Safari my screen will either be blank on one side or I will get overlapping images. Could this be connected the debug messages?
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

My new iMac has recently had OSX Lion installed on it and now when I start the machine it looks like its updating something every time, and the wireless doesn't work. So I restart and everything is OK - until I have to start up again the next time - then I have to repeat this again! Any help appreciated.
I've been having the same issue, but have just discovered something on my own that hasn't been pointed out in any of the forums I've visited. In what I thought would be a vain attempt to help myself, I went to System Preferences, Users & Groups, and then clicked on Login Items. I discovered that one of the Items that was listed to open automatically upon login was iTunes Helper and that there was an exclamation point beside it indicating that it was incompatible. I simply deleted that item and now I don't have the situation you described and my wireless is connected. Hope this helps!

I cannot reduce the images size on my ipad2 has anyone had this problem before ?
I have been unable to reduce all images on my Ipad2 screen. Any suggestions ? I was in an app called Bamboo Paper and the size blew up.Nothing I do works.
Double tap your screen with 3 fingers and the image should go back to normal size. You may also go into your settings and see if zoom is turned on. If it is turn zoom off.

Has anyone had trouble manipulating Nikon D750 raw image (NEF) in Aperture (version 3.6 500021000000000.3, Digital Camera RAW 6.0 - Build 761.5, Digital Camera RAW support 6000 - Build 136.1)
I used to be able to manipuplate Nikon Raw (NEF) images from a Nikon D70 and D3200 using Aperture, until the 70 died and the 3200 was stolen about 18 months ago. Recently I did two things: (1) I upgraded OS X to Yosemite and (2) purchased a Nikon D750. I have successfully imported NEF files from the camera to Aperture, but the images do not render/ cannot be opened/ manipulated. Instead, I see a black thumbnail for each imported image with a cassette recorder play icon in the center of each image.
I can view the NEF image in Finder preview mode, either directly when viewing the images on the camera SD card or after exporting the previously imported NEF image from Aperture to my desktop or user folder. Previously imported NEF image seem unaffected.

D.The current Apple OSX 10.10 Yosemite and the current Aperture version 3.6 do not have support yet for importing Nikon d750 nef/raw files. It usually takes Apple six to eight weeks to release a new digital camera raw update file for new Nikon dslr models. Once that digital camera raw update file is finally released, update your current version of Aperture and that will allow you to import your d750 raw files. In the meantime, you have many workarounds. In my opinion, the easiest is to save images in duplicate nef/raw and jpeg image files to your SD cards.
And for now, just import the jpegs to Aperture 3.6 from your d750. Process your jpegs in Aperture - and hope your clients are happy with the jpegs and can wait for later nef/raw image processing. Be sure to save and do not erase your original SD cards that include the nef/raw and jpeg files - then when Aperture finally releases a new digital camera raw file update that includes the d750 - just insert your original camera SD cards into the computer platform and import the old d750 nef/raw files and edit/process them.
There are many other ways to proceed in the interim as well. You can always import your d750 nef/raw images into Lightroom (if it has been updated to convert the d750 nef files) and process them there. But for the time being, if you can afford to save and hold onto your original SD cards and wait for the inevitable Aperture digital camera raw update, this is a very easy and simple way to proceed. -
My ipod touch(4th gen) just recently had the iOS 5 update.bu for some reason about 80% of my music collection appears with no album artwork and doesnt play any songs.basically it has my music on their but wont let me access it? please help!

I recently had an update to my Firefox account and since then cannot use it at all. When I try to a window opens which says the following:
The application or DLL C:/Program Files/Mozilla/Firefox/xul.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check your installation diskette.Please do the following.
Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.17] and download it to the desktop.
Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to '''Mozilla Firefox '''and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (''don't checkmark the box'').
Then reboot and delete the folder called '''Mozilla Firefox '''at this location: ''C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox''
Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier.
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.
This is what's known as a 'clean install'. It will overwrite the corrupt files which are preventing Firefox from starting. -
I recently updated? to Lion from 10.6.8(snow leopard), and things seem to be running slower. Has anyone had similar problems? I have Feb 2011 Macbook pro 13" 2.3 Ghz.
As Shootist pointed out, the system uses more power.
However, initially it will reindex the hard drive for spotlight, which will slow things down temporarily.
It also must rebuild caches that eventually will speed things up.
If it has completed indexing the hard drive (no dot pulsing in the spyglass), then there might be something wrong.
Start by booting into the Recovery HD (a partition created with Lion that has Disk Utility and reinstallation options) by holding down cmd-r when you restart. You can let go when the gray screen appears.
When it boots, select Disk Utility and Repair the drive.
If that doesn't speed things up, try re-installing the OS from the same Recovery HD. It won't delete any of your files, but it has helped some people whose Macs ran slow after installing Lion.
Also, how much memory do you have? Lion needs RAM so maxing your Mac out might also help. -

Kind of you to reply. My 'titles' conform, as they always have done. I've used a few versions of PSE over the years. Pics edited in an older version opened up no probs on ipad.
When I upgraded my camera a few years ago I had to upgrade PSE because the updated codec for shooting raw was not available for downloading to earlier versions of the programme. The same occurred again with another camera upgrade, which is why I am using PSE12 now.

Run Disk Utility > Repair ... (not just repair permissions) while booted from another drive. If you have a stronger utility like Disk Warrior, that would be even better.
If you find that the ONLY way you can do this is by booting from the DVD, The Hatter recommends you establish an emergency drive or partition on a drive other than the Boot drive and use that in the future. It makes emergency Repair, backup, and cloning much easier. -
when I upload photos, some of the images do not show, but appear as a dotted square. has anyone had this problem?
Hi Terence, When I am uploading photos from a memory card,not all of the photos show up on I photo as a photo image, but show up as a dotted square line. For example, I just added 12 photo from two days. The first day had 5 photos, but only 4 show up as images, then there is 1 as dotted a square. The next day, there 7 images, with only 4 showing up as photos, and three as the dotted squares.
I am using I photo 11, 9.1.1.

My iphone has recently loss about 10G of memmory. I check through settings/general/usage, all apps I had add up to less than 2G. I used to be able to take around 2hrs of video as I like to record down whatever happening in front of my car when I'm driving. I delete the videos everyday ifn nothing special. It seems that lately when I deleted the videos, they're not removed from the phone's memmory.
I check form setting/general/usage : all my apps add up to less than 2G. In itune, it shows all memmary is under the catagory "other". Is there any way I can access this "other" memmory to see what's in it and delete the things I don't want to regain the loss memmory?

As for the videos - interesting! Do you have the iPhone on one of those window holders, or do you hold it in your hand since that might ironically distract you, unless you've gotten very good at it! -
I recently had to change my apple id. I have 2 Iphones on one of them the user id still comes up as my old email adress and i can't get it to chage to my new Id. What do I need to do? Synching has not worked.
Purchases are tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with for eternity... or until Apple provides a way to change the ID.
Regardless, if you want to change the Apple ID the device is logged in with, Settings > Store > Select ID > Sign Out. Then sign in with the new ID.

I noted before that I was unable to open a wmv file. I have tried VLC, DIVX, and XDiv all without success. the VLC application gave me a little extra information that should be relevant. It tells me that it can't open a wvp2 file. Can that help anyon
