Does anyone know how to best deal with a frozen ipad? notting seems to work!

I downloaded the latest version of firefox and the problem has started; it aways says: "Firefox is already running, but not responding. To open a new window you must first close the existing Firefox process or restart your system; I have to do this about 3 times for the internet to come on again; what can I do, short of calling a technician??

My fully charged iPhone has a black screen and is not responding but has Siri and sound. I connected to laptop and iTunes gives error msg indicating phone is locked and I to enter passcode. but I can't enter the passcode because the screen is black. I have never syncd with iTunes. What can I do to get my phone back?
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

You will need to restore the software via the following procedure:
Turn your device off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your device and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a device in recovery mode. I also have this problem.
Safari cannot open the page because the server stopped responding.
I have the indication that wifi is working properly, I know that because when i tried to open like kompas - news app in indonesia - it is no problem.
Just with safari, you tube and app store.
I already tried to reset the network, restore to factory setting ans STILL nothing can help me.
WHY apple still have this problem?? and from many forums, i found this kind of problem and always no answer can satisfy customer using iphone or ipad (in my case).
