My Ipad2 is turning off all Icloud settings and asking for password every minute

Hi,
My Ipad2 is turning off all my icloud settings by itself and asking for the password every minute. After about an hour it works again but only for a few days and starts turning off the settings again.
This started about 3 weeks ago an even when it starts working again for a few days there are still some photos and contacts missing. But on my IPhone and on icloud.com everything is fine.
Has anyone an idea what is happening?

Hi,
Thanks for the tip. I deleted the Account and at least everything is back on my ipad. But it was asking for the password a few times since then.
But if it stops turning off all my settings i could live with putting in the password every hour...
I will see if it stops deleting and turning off.

  • IOS 7 keep turned off my iCloud settings and asking my password

    Hi,
I upgrade to iOS 7 the day before yesterday. Everything's fine until yesterday's morning. When I received a text message, I found it's shown under the tel number, rather than names from my contact list. Then I found all my setting in iCloud were turned off. I turned them on, and everything's fine after that. But today, it turned off all my settings again and stars to keep asking me sign-in my iCloud account. I checked my iCloud account settings, it seems correct for me. I can correctly get all the informations from iCloud. But it just keep asking my passwords...
    Any ideas about this?
    Thanks very much in advance,
    s.c

The solution to this error (in IOS7) is: You have to edit our name ID to "manage your apple ID" from the following link and put in it the old name or misnomer. This will allow us to access iCloud on our device without problem and once there we can delete the account, momentarily leaving the device without iCloud account. Remember to remove the iCloud account, before we turn off "find my ipad" (in IOS 7 asks for this password, now if we recognize for having changed the old ID). Then repeat the process to edit the name of our apple ID to put the name you want and activate iCloud on your device using the latter name.
    Here the link:

So I solved the problem with iCloud yesterday I came to upgrade to IOS7.

  • I turned off my iCloud contacts and now they are gone!!

I turned on iCloud during a school trip to share pictures. It had synced with everyone's phone on the account and I had so many contacts that I didn't need and even 5 of the ones that I already had. So I thought I could just turn off iCloud and it would go back to the way it was before but in stead it whipped out all of my contacts! I tried to turn the iCloud back on so I would have all of those contacts back and just go through and delete all the ones I didn't need or already had but nothing happened! Please help! I don't even have the numbers where I could go through and ask who they are! Everything is just gone!

I did turn the contacts back on and it didnt work. I am hoping the wi-fi connection I am on at school is not compatible, and it will work when I get home. Thanks!

  • How can I turn off where every time I turn on iPad or mail it ask for password

I Have the iPad 4, after last update I changed my Apple ID and password, but iCloud won't change the ID but it allowed the pw change so every time I turn on iPad or go to mail it wants the password. This is frustrating as I'm the only one on here. Help how do I save PW so it's not always asking for it Thanks  Susiecue

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, and then click General.
Open the General pane of Security & Privacy preferences
    2.     Select “Require password...NEVER after sleep or screen saver begins.”  You can adjust the amount of delay before a password is required in the pop-up menu.
From what I am aware, you cannot turn off the keychain.
    I hope this helps.

How can I log into I Clouds on my computer but keep running into this problems on preference???

    - If you do not know the password for your iTunes backup of the iPod then recover the password by:
How to Recover iPod Backup Password to Restore iPod from Bakcups
Before you restore from backup makes sure that all your apps are in your iTunes library since the backup does not include synced media like apps and music.
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    - If you do not know the password for the iCloud backup you are out of luck.

  • How to backup all database settings and data for SOA suite to file(s) ?

During the installation of the SOA Suite a couple of tables and schemas are created
in Oracle database through the irca.bat script.
Later the tables are filled with content by all the servers and services of the
    SOA Suite.
How can I backup all these tables and SOA related stuff to one (or more)
files (for a possible later restore)?
This backup should contain only SOA Suite related tables and data.
Possible other tables (for other applications) should not be considered.
Is there a script (e.g. for sqlplus) or menu which does the
SOA database backup job for me ?
If there is no official backup script maybe someone in this forum
    wrote a personal script.
    Thank you
    Peter

I am facing the same problem.
I have spend a few days to configure and train my Sony tablet to configure for all my remotes such as aircon and lighting. I did a backup using the Sony companion to my PC. When my tablet was faulty and serviced. But the backup did not recover the IR remote settings and codes which I programmed previously. I also tried your backup restore app but it also does not save the configuration.
It is VERY IMPORTANT for me to backup the settings.
Please provide the folders and path of where the IR REMOTE settings and personal configuration and codes trained were kept so that I could back them up. Are these path protected area that required rooted access?
Hope that Sony could update the app to include backup of new trained codes and settings and in the meantime to provide a procedure of how to backup the setting and trained IR codes with or without rooting the device.

  • ICloud Account Keeps Asking for Password in System Preferences

I am extremely frustrated with iCloud. I'm on Lion 10.7.3.
    Two main issues:
System Preferences, iCal, and Contacts keeps asking for my iCloud account password over and over again. It will not retain the password whne I type it in. I know the password is correct because when I type it in everytime the services update and retain the password until I log out and log back in.
I tried to delete the iCloud account and set it up again to see if that would fix the issue, but I cannot delete the account. In System Preferences I have tried to delete the account using the minus sybmol at the bottom and have tried the "Sign Out" method. The account disappears until I restart System Preferences. I tried deleting the account and rebooting, but it is still there.
Any ideas? I would love to know if there is a way to override all this in Terminal.

    Your iCloud password is incorrect?

When you connect to the Guest network, you wouldn’t be asked for a password. The guest password would only be prompted once you open your internet browser.

  • Can't sync new contacts from Outlook to iphone 6.  Turned off all add-ns and still will not update.

Did the suggestion on the Apple site for contacts.  When I do the sync I can see the new contact in my contact list then it goes away when the sync finishes.

    @ Laurent P.
    Some things to try.
Reset Sync History. To do this on a Mac, open iSync in your Applications folder. Once open, click the iSync menu and choose Preferences. Small window opens with a Reset Sync History button. Does not delete any data, just don't expect your next sync to be super quick.
Also, under the Info tab in iTunes, choose the Advanced option of replacing everything on the iPhone with what is on the computer. If it works, be sure to uncheck that setting. I think it is a one time check only thing, but be sure.
    Wait...
I just noticed you said MobileMe...if you use MobileMe to sync your stuff, flip Contacts Off then back On. If that doesn't work, delete the MobileMe account on the iPhone and re-add it.
Otherwise, try a hard reset (both buttons for about 10 sec. ignore slide to power off), and reset network settings.
Also, does the Mac contacts show up in MobileMe? If they don't, go to System Preferences > MobileMe > Sync tab and check your settings. Perform a sync too. Under the Advanced button you can Reset Sync Data and choose to replace MobileMe stuff with stuff on your computer or vice versa.

  • Turn off all Adobe Services and Cloud

    Hi Everyone,
I had an Academic version of CS6 and after I changed jobs and was no longer eligible I purchased Creative Cloud for access to Photoshop.  I only want the Photoshop program and will save to a different location.  I also don't want the updaters and other services, so my questions is what is the bare minimum start-up for Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop without cloud storage.
    Thanks
    Revy

Thank you so much for the fast reply   This is quiet a bit different than what Sean at Pre-Sales told me.  He told me that I could download and use this as a Desktop application.  Fortunately I am still in my 30 Days and can get just the Photoshop application.
    Have a great day John
