Hello, my Ipad was stolen about a week ago, I activated the "find my iPhone" app, however it says my Ipad is offline since the day it was stolen, does anyone know…:
1. Is there another way I can track its location, or more importantly have the information stored on my Ipad erased ASAP?
2. Taking into consideration I blocked the iPad using the find my iPhone app, is there anyway the iPad can be used? Can someone erase all the data, my itunes account, reset all settings etc.? before connecting online?

I am unable to drage songs from a shared music library between computers. This used to work perfectly until a month ago. I have installed the newest version of Itunes on both computers and have rebooted them, but nothing happens when I try to drag a song to another playlist or another shared folder. My iPad was stolen almost a month ago...
I tried tracking it with the "find my iphone" app, locked it by putting it in lost mode, tried to plea with whoever got it, but it seems like the thief is smart and turned it off immediately since it has been offline since, then after a week, the device completely disappeared in the app. So I've given up hope, just changed all the passwords that was linked to that ipad. Just a few hours ago, I received a notification on my iphone and husband's iPad (who uses my apple id) that goes something like this: "Mabel" has added (lists all my email addresses) blah blah... And "Mabel" added (my cellphone number) in the imessage account blah blah.
We are 100% sure that we have no other device that has signed-in, is it possible that the thief or whoever it is signed in in my ipad that was now named "Mabel" And why is it that it's still my contacts that is being signed in when I already changed passwords? I am really ****** and scared at the same time that the thief may have gotten our personal info...No.

Well, if you had a .Mac account and enabled the "Find my iPhone" functions before it was stolen, maybe you could (I'm not sure how that all worked).
With a serial number and reciept, you can't track it.

My car was broken into in Uptown, MN last month and my Macbook was stolen along with my Wifi device. Although my computer would no longer power, it showed a white screen with a folder and question in the middle and then shut down. I hadn't had a chance to take it to have it checked, but is there a way to track my computer if I do not have the serial number? And if I purchase another computer is there a way to get the music that I purchased in iTunes back?
ThanksRegarding your music, yes you can download it again at no cost. Launch iTunes on the new computer, and sign in to your account using the same Apple ID you used previously. Go to the iTunes Store. On the right side under Quick Links select Purchased. Click on All Songs in the upper left.You'll see a list of the music you purchased from iTunes. In the lower right corner click the Download All link. Note that this may take a long time, particularly if you have a lot of songs. Use the fastest Internet connection that you can.
About the computer, unless tracking software was already installed on it and turned on there is no way to track it.
I would suggest changing passwords of any accounts that you have on the computer, such as email. If you have any credit card information stored on the computer, have them cancelled and replaced immediately.

If he Registered his mac in his icloud account and said yes to "Find my mac" than he can go to icloud.com, log-in, and than click find my mac. His mac can then be located.

I would just like to know if I can retrieve any of my old text messages? I have downloaded that Mr. Fone, but not really too computer savvy and just looking for direction.
I have no real faith in these alleged data recovery tools. If the text messages were deleted months ago and you were still using the device, the chances are slim, even if that program works.
