resarted my computer, turned device on and off....still cant do it..
i'm annoyed now!
can anyone help??
thanks
bambicoBecause when you first saved an encrypted backup that is the password you used. The backup password does not "track" your password changes; it stays with what you started with unless you change it.

Sign into iCloud pop-up message on iPad2 won't disappear off screen, have reset password multiple times but it is saying incorrect. Please HELP unable to use iPad as message appears every few seconds, iPad was working fine until now.
After the restore did the phone work properly for a while? Say, a day or so?
If so it is possible you have an app that doesn't let go of memory properly. I reboot my iPhone ( hold sleep/wake and hole till you see the apple logo) every few days. This resets the memory. The iPhone OS has doesn't seem to mange memory very well yet. So a reboot will help with that. I have had my phone almost slow to a stop before I started rebooting. Always reboot after installing a new app. Also do you close all pages in Safari when you are done? This is a good practice. Safari will run in the background and use processor time and drain your battery quicker. Create a new blank page then close all others when you are done browsing for a while. I have also found that certain web site that have animated images like weather maps will turn the phone into molasses. As soon as i close that page it gets faster.
If all of the above have no effect then as Tamara said it is time for a trip to the Genius bar.
Good luck -
My ipad mini is not connecting to the wifi network. I have the correct network and password chosen, but the message I get is that "unable to join". I have reset my ipad and it still says the same thing. What can I do about this?
Hey Dr kris,
Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
I understand that you are having issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks with your iPad mini. The following troubleshooting assistant may lead to a resolution:
Apple - Support - iPhone - Join a network Assistant

For more in-depth troubleshooting, refer to the following article (refer to the "Unable to connect to a Wi-Fi network):

I've had to reset my sons iCloud password as we forgot it and it's still saying incorrect password! Any ideas? As we can't even get online on his iPad..
As soon as we turn the iPad on its asks for the iCloud password.. Says it's incorrect.. Try to get online and it comes up again.. Same thing. Then says to go to settings to verify password.. Go into the iCloud settings and it asks for the password again and low and behold it's still incorrect.

I have an Iphone 5 and it will not connect to any WIFI networks - I have tried following the steps above (including reseting network settings) but it just says 'incorrect password' every time. How can I resolve this?
you have definitely tried the correct steps, all you would need to do now is a back up & restore to factory settings. If after that the issue remains then you would most likely need a replacement unit.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

As mentioned before, I can connect to my wifi network at my residence, but when I go to connect to the wifi at my college, I type in the password, and it says incorrect all the time, even though it is correct. I've even gone to the tech center here at my school, and let the guy who sets the network up mess around with it himself, with no such luck! This has happened ever since the first update on iOS 6. SUGGESTIONS? Thanks
You might also try Settings > Wi-Fi > tap on the blue arrow next to your college's Wi-Fi network name > tap on Forget this Network.
Ten let the device try to connect again and make absolutely sure you type in the correct password. -
I changed my password on Hotmail [Outlook] but my iphone continually asks me to re enter the password as it is not correct, I deleted the account and re-entered all information but it still keeps saying password is incorrect - sometimes message do come through without a problem but then it starts again saying password incorrect
It's not a problem with the phone. The phone doesn't care what our password is. The serve is rejecting your password, not the phone. Talk to your email provider.
