My iphone 2g just went dead and wont turn on past the apple logo

Hey Guys,
i got apple iphong  2g 8gb and it just went off after tryin to recharge it using AC outlet. The phone wont get past the apple logo after doing all the stuff i found out in my thorough search in the internet.
I tried all stuffs like hard reserts by holding the sleep+home button but it wont help either coz its restarts and shows the apple logo for a few seconds theng BANG! its off...
I also tried a custom restore by downloading a 3.1.3 ios ipsw file from some website coz i didnt even know what firmware my phone was running on then putting the phone into recovery mode but after itunes extracting the software it tries to install it into the iphone and the iphone would just restartve, apple logo for a few seconds then off...itunes then gives me error 1603.Tried restoring a million times with the same results even when on DFU mode.....
Guys i need a serius help from every corner coz ma i really love my phone....and i wont care if the solution involves deleting everything in it....i just dont understand why it doesnt even restore.....

  • Iphone 4s screen went black and wont turn on

Iphone 4s screen  went black and wont turn on... what do I do?

Does the Vibrate/Mute switch make the iPhone vibrate? Does iTunes on computer recognize the iPhone? If not, then possibly the battery is faulty or worse. If yes, then the LCD Display is not working, possibly the connector came loose and simply needs to be pressed down to the logic board. Of the LCD Display is faulty and the front screen assembly needs to be replaced. Or worse. If there is Warranty or AppleCare, make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send iPhone to Apple for resolution. If no coverage, Replacement iPhone is $199 or battery is $80 with Apple.

Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

My iPod touch 5th Gen. wont start up past the apple logo, ive tried holding the power button and the home button, and it wont start up. What do I do?!?!

    Try the remaining items of:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • IPhone 3GS won't turn on past the Apple logo and there's a swirling circle too...

Hi! For a while now, my iPhone has been a pain in my butt. I dropped it whilst out for a meal in April and it cracked the screen and did damage to the bettery which means that the iPhone turns off randomly when not connected to a power source (An Apple Genius has told me this).
But when out today, my iPhone shut off and it wouldn't turn on past the Apple logo. After about 30 seconds, a little circle like thing pops up on the bottom of the logo and starts to 'swirl' and it does nothing when connected to a power source.
I've hard reset it, connected it to iTunes and nothing seems to work. I tried restoring it in July and that didn't do anything to the phone at all.
Any help at all will be hugely appriciated and if anyone else has had the same problem as what I have, how do I fix it?
    Thank you!

Wow sure sounds like your iPhone is in really bad shape.
But the next step is a DFU Mode Restore. If this does not work your iPhone is telling you it needs major most likely expensive repairs, or outright replacement.
DFU Mode Restore, with iTunes open connect iPhone to your computer, hold both Home and Power buttons for exactly 10 seconds, release Power button continue holding Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Usually about 20 seconds longer. If the screen is blank, black this is DFU Mode. Restore the iPhone Firmware. DFU Mode again is iPhone in Recovery Mode per iTunes but has a blank, black screen. If not successful keep trying to get DFU Mode, it can be a bit difficult even for experienced users to get, keep trying.

  • 2nd hand ipod touch and it wont turn on past the apple/skull

So I just bought a used ipod touch, either 2nd or 3rd gen. not sure. but it wont turn on all the way. And when i plug it in the computer doesnt think its pluged in. Help??

Go elsewhere. The skul indiocates a jailbroken iPod.
Jailbreaking voids the Apple warranty and also means that you will not get any support from Apple, including from this Apple forum. Jailbreaking can't be discussed in this Apple forum.
Unauthorized modification of iOS has been a major source of instability, disruption of services, and other issues

  • My iPhone wont turn on past the apple screen

I was erasing it and it shut off but the battery was full. I've restarted it and it doesn't show up on itunes. The apple showes up then it turnes off.

Probably won't work but... try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings. You may need to hold the buttons as long as a minute.
If that doesn't work, try Recovery or DFU mode... http://www.timog.com/forum/showthread.php?t=130265

  • HT4993 my phone just went black and wont turn on

    Hi Rebeccarichmond,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If your iPhone does not turn on, these steps can help:
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
    Best,
    Jeremy
