Try resetting >
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, try restoring > Backing up, updating, and restoring your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software

I opened my iPod Touch up to fix my home button. When i closed it back up it had a white screen. I tried pressing lock and home button for 10 seconds and it worked but while i'm using it it goes white with lines on the screen. Help please. I create a project w/iMovie and I have two problems: When I try to finalize the project iMovie crashes; when I share to DVD sometimes it crashes also; if I can successfully send it to DVD and then burn a DVD there are wavy lines on the screen. I'm uising photos in my project, not video. Help!
You can split a project in two by doing this.
1) Go to the Project Library View.
2) Select your project, and click FILE/DUPLICATE PROJECT. Give it a name like "your project name - part 1".
3) Do this again. This time name it "your project name - part 2"
4) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the second half.
5) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the first half of the project.
At the end you should have your original project, plus the same project in two parts. -

To make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the phone. My iPhone 5 display is gone! I can see a series of white vertical lines on the screen! Help??
Hi all, the display on my iPhone suddenly started showing a series of white lines on all over the screen. They r more in the icon columns. I also can see a bold green line which is approximately 3mm on left side of the screen. I can only see this line not anything else. On the remaining screen I can but with white line over it.

Please help, I repaired an iphone 5c and have now tried two different lcd screens on it but all I get is a black screen or a black screen with a vertical blue line on the left hand side of the screen. I definitely have the cables connected properly etc and before I repaired it the phone had a cracked screen and there was a picture on it.
I have tried hard reset and nothing. I have tried connecting to iTunes but it asks me to confirm on the iPhone which I can't do as there is nothing on the display. I have tried randomly pressing all over the screen but it doesn't work. So I can't even try restoring it on iTunes.
Please help any advice will be appreciated! I successfully have repaired iphone 4's and iphone 5 before but this is the first iphone 5c.

when selecting the camera on my 3gs the screen goes black and has no responce i can take a picture with the top volume button but cannot see it until i open photos

thankyou andyTry closing the Camera app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Camera app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset (unless this is what you mean by powering off and restarting) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

I would try poping the sim card out and then putting it back in. Therer is a small hole in the side just stick a pin in it and pop the try out and slide it back in. If that doesnt work back your device up and then restore it. If that still doesnt work go to your phone comany.

Everything works the sound, touch screen, camera. No glitches. But my phone is discolored & has vertical lines.
I was wondering of If should just get a new screen or if there's a better way ??Try backing up the phone and then do a restore, when you restore set it up as new to see if it still persists if it does you''ll probably need a repair.

in my laptop,i generally use windows xp, due to some problems i repaired the window, after some days without any notice the above problem starts. but internet explorer 8 shows up with a perfect window, but a bit slow in every respect compared to firefox. above all if i start the window in safe mode firefox runs perfectly.please help, i ve tried every possible way(installing different anti-viruses, acessing through set program and defaults).
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
