My Iphone 3G won't synch properly ... its slower than frozen maple syrup

I have had my iphone 3g for almost 2 years and I used to love it. I don't know what f#$ckery is going on at APPLE but the phone is slow.. unresponsive and all of my friends who have the same phone have the EXACT same problem.
Problem 1. It won't sync properly to itunes. First it said there was a unknown error ( 13019 ) and I was told to not sync my music which I clicked off in itunes and as soon as I plug the phone in it syncs ALL my music anyway even though its unchecked for syncing music. What the???
Problem 2. SLOW phone... the apps run so slow its crazy. The keyboard works ok sometimes and unresponsive other times. I don't get it. Is Apple trying to get me to buy the new IPHONE 4? Well its having the reverse effect. I get no support on this issue from the store.. they say its all me.. LOL.. must have dropped the phone ( I haven't ) or You must have jail broken it.. ( I haven't ) I'm like what kind of company is this... saying that its my fault and I'm lying. I have been a mac user since I was finished breastfeeding and this is how I get treated.
I tell you if I don't get this problem fixed I'm going back to Blackberry.

Before the current sync issue did you do a sync with iTunes and maybe notice something about updating to a new OS (iOS4)? Did you let iTunes do it? If you did, look for all the threads about iOS4 and how it's affected 3G phones.

Mac iOS version 10.5.8 and iTunes on Mac is 10.6.1. iPad and iPhone version is 6.0(10A403). When I check for updates on the Mac book pro it says software versions are up to date.
When I check for iTunes version 10.6.3 it looks like it is for snow leopard operating system which I am not on. How to I get my devices to sync with computer. Everything worked prior to iOS 6 upgrade on remote devices.

I iust updated the iPhone to iOS6 (thought it wasn't syncing before the update either).
Macbook Pro running Mac OS 10.5.8
iTunes 10.6.3 (i.e. latest update - which hasn't had an issues apart from syncing).
I tried 3 different USB sync cables. Still not syncing.
Do I really have to update my Mac OS to 10.6.8 in order to sync my phone ? I thought as long as you have iTunes 10.6.3 you're ok...
Is there a way to update to Mac OS 10.6.8 (or later) without wiping the hard drive and doing a new install?..

SSo recently I have been having problems with my iphone4s a pop up message keeps telling me to sign in to icloud . Even if I have , it wouldmstill appear, I can't even go on apps because it crashes or freezes them. I can't make calls neither and I can't received calls???? My battery life is draining quicker than it used to. More over, I can't even make a text. I receive text but once I try to open them , it would just appear in a blank canvas ....... I don't understand why I'm having these problems?! I've also have the lastest update

     I have 3 headsets - Jawbone ERA, Plantronics Voyager Legend, and now (post iPhone 5) a Bose. None of them work well with the iPhone 5, but did work well with my 4S. Same with my 2013 CR-V - can make calls, but can't answer. After doing some research on the internet, it appears that others are having the same problem. So... it's going to be up to the every company or manfacturer that makes a bluetooth system to fix the problem (other than Apple, which does make "the blue tooth system" in the iPhone 5).
     It's funny, on one forum a guy said (and I'm paraphrasing): "the iPhone 5 doesn't work with any of these cars; I wonder if we could sue all of these car manufacturers."
     The question is this: whose responsibility is it to make functional the bluetooth features advertised by Apple? The Bluetooth system in my car works perfectly with the 4S (running iOS6), as do my headsets. The iPhone 5 doesn't work properly with anything.
     BTW: Between my wife, my 4 year old, and I we own 19 pieces of Apple hardware: 1. a Mac Pro; 2+3. 2x 15" rMBP; 4+5+6. 3 ipads; 7. 1 ipad mini; 8+9. two UMBPs; 10+11+12 3 x iphone; 13+14+15. 3 x AEX; 16. Time Machine; 17. the original powerbook; and who knows what else I can't remeber (I edited this because I just remembered that I own 2 apple tvs). I am also a member of the ADC (OS X).
     I been with Apple for a long time. I have been very loyal to Apple. I am entitled to say that is Apple's responsibility to make its own products work - but that Kool-Aid sure is sweet, ain't it?

New Iphone 5 won't synch with my itunes

I just got a new iphone 5 and it won't synch with my itunes; it shows up in a seperate tab labeled "on this Iphone" and it also showed up as Cast's I phone when i first plugged it in; the only way i can put stuff on it is by manually dragging music to it and my itunes will be updated Hilary's I phone but it wont show up unless i manually drag it to this random tab; i am up to date on all my software on the phone and computer; please help this is so annoying.

If "Manually manage content" is selected on the Summary tab there is no option to sync.

IPHONE calendar won't synch with yahoo/outlook

as of yesterday I've noticed that when I add a new calendar listing on my iphone it won't sync with my yahoo-outlook calendar when I sync it. Did I inadvertently do something wrong. I'm a pc user

I suggest resetting the sync history on your PC.
Open iTunes and choose Edit -> Preferences. Select the Sync tab and choose to reset sync history.
With a Mac, I usually recommend restarting the computer after selecting reset sync history, so you might as well do the same.

Recovery mode doesn't mean that all your data is already lost. You only lose your data if you restore it.
When you plug the phone is into iTunes hold down the home button. iTunes may then give you the option JUST to update the software first. This should not get rid of any data.
However, if iTunes is only giving you the option to RESTORE and update, then you will lose your data I'm afraid.

New iPhone 6 Won't Synch with iTunes

Purchased iPhone 6 and set it up by restoring to an iTunes backup performed earlier the day of purchase. After restore can not complete a synch of phone. Synch via iTunes hangs up in last step (Waiting for Changes to be Applied). Changes never get implemented. Running latest Mac OS (10.9.5) and iTunes (11.4) as well as iOS 8 on iPhone. Anyone else having issues?

It show that it's downloading. Be patient. Instead of 30 GB all at once, maybe try a few and test.

It may be possible that the phone will no longer charge because of the charger itself not functioning properly. I would recommend trying other chargers and other power sources. If that doesn't resolve the issue it definitely sounds like a battery or device hardware issue.
Considering the iPhone 4s is an older phone and judging by your upgrade date. It may actually still be under warranty. You phone comes with a 1 year limited hardware warranty with Apple and you may be able to get it repaired for no cost if it is no longer working.

My iPhone 4s won't charge properly

My phone won't connect to the charger properly- one second it's connected, then it's disconnected again. It will only charge properly when I hold it at a certain angle, which is really inconveniant. It's not the charger, I've tried my friend's charger and it's still the same problem, so it is definitley the phone. Any help ?

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Iphone 4s won't synch to exchange calendar

After downloading OS 6, my iphone 4s battery began to drain at record speed with little use throughout the day (MAYBE 2 hours of dinking around on the busride to and from work) I messed with a bunch of settings and that has seemed to help a bit but now I can't get my work email and calendar to synch up. I've tried all sorts of things and nothing has worked. Anyone else having this issue? I'm tempted to fully reset my phone at this point.....

Can you access your email via Outlook.com?
If so, the server box needs to reflect that on the iPhone (m.outlook.com)
If it's a server hosted by the company, you probably need your full email set in all of the applicable boxes (UserID, Email Address, etc.)
Have you put in the right domain? (if applicable)
Please, share screenshots of the error/example configuration so we can see if anything is out of place.

IPhone 5 won't synch Contacts with Yahoo Mail

I have Yahoo Mail and an iPhone 5s with iOS 7.0.4.
I cannot get Contacts to flow from one to the other. In SETTINGS I have both iCloud & Yahoo! as Accounts. I disabled CONTACTS in iCloud.
For the Yahoo Account I have Mail, Contact6s, Calendars, Reminders and Notes all active (Green).
Does iTunes play a role in getting the Contacts to Synch?
I cannot get New Contact I enter into my iPhone to "flow" to Yahoo! and I cannot get New Contacts I enter into Yahoo! to "flow" to my iPhone.
NOTE: I'm askingon behalf of my Lady Friend who has the iPhone 5. I have an iPhone 4S & all works fine.

make sure you have the same email adresses with both devices and enabled. And make sure both icloud accounts are the sam and are enabled on both. You can check this by going to settings>icloud>and check the account and calendar is enabled on both devices

On my iPhone Safari won't work properly.

Hello there. When I search for images using safari and tap on them the screen turns black. Also in the bottom right corner it says that only one tab is opened, however, more tabs are opened.

Super Slow Internet paying for 75/35 and its slower than dial up

I switched from optimum to Fios to get the faster internet. It worked for a few days and then its almost impossible to even send and email.
I have switched out the router, had a tech come out and replace the ONT. the techs dont know whats wrong, i asked for credit since I'm not getting what Im paying for. When I told them this, they said they dont have a problem on their side so no credit. I really dont care about the credit I JUST WANT WHAT I'M PAYING FOR.
After 7 PM at night it's even slower. It crawls so slow, the service just stops and i get disconnected. Tech support never heard of this happening, but now another service tech is coming out.
I see alot of other posts on the web with customers having the same problem, so Verizon must know there is a problem,but doesnt have a fix. Am I wasting my time trying to get the faster speed???
Has anyone gone through this and had it resolved???? I sometimes have to go my local starbucks and send emails and work.
Is this rediculous.....Well if they cannot fix it, bye bye Fios.

IPhone 4 battery dies quickly, won't charge properly and is very hot!

Hi, my iPhone 4 won't charge properly and the battery drains really fast plus the handset is very hot. Does it need a new battery?
It just suddenly started happening yesterday before lunch and hasn't been right since! I haven't done any software updates or anything that could cause it. I e tried deleting my mail accounts, turning phone off and re installing them as suggested in one post but that didn't work!
