My iphone 3gs wont turn on. screen is blank.

used it to send a message and then after sending the message. My phone just turned off and wont open again. Wont open on Itunes either, wont even charge.

Where do you have it plugged into. If not a wall plug, try that vs a USB port..

I have a iphone 3gs and i havent used it in a month and a half and i used to use it before and it worked fine. now im trying to use it but the battery died so i put it in charge but its stuck on the charging screen with the red battery. And when i disconnect it it says to plug the cable back in. i tryed charging it from the wall. and my pc ( windows ) and same problem ive been trying to charge it since this morning but no luck and its 5 right now Pacfic Time.
It is not jailbroken
the sleep botton is broken ( completly gone, not there )
and i have the orignal cable for the 3gs
What can i do to turn it back on?
i think the firmware is on IOS 6 Or if not that then IOS 6.01
Please help i need the phone really bad.
ive charged it for numerous amount of hours.

My IPhone 3GS shut off on me so I connected it to my wall charger once it turned on it stayed on the "connect to ITunes" logo so i dissconected it and it shut off...... I went and connected it to my PC with ITunes on but my phone wont even turn on, yet when i connect it to my wall charger it turns on but goes back to "Connect to ITunes" HELP ANYONE PLEASE!!!

IPhone 3gs wont turn back on once it goes into sleep mode!

2 days ago my iPhone 3gs (OS 6.0.1) has gone completely wacko on me and i'm completely frustrated! I have my phone set to have the screen shut off after 5 minutes. Usually, to just reaccess the phone I just simply hit the home button. Now, if I let it go into sleep mode, the phone WILL NOT come back on! I went online and did some research, and it suggested holding the home button and the sleep button for 10 seconds to get it to come back on. It works most times, but sometimes it takes a few tries to get it to come back on, and when it does come back on it takes forever to load up. But the whole thing happens all over again when it goes into sleep mode. My phone is fine as long as I set it to never go into sleep mode, but it is killing my battery. I need to be able to put it into sleep mode as I have to be able to go all day without charging it at my job. PLEASE help...I don't know what's going on with it. I have never done anything to it (jailbreaking, illegal stuff, etc.) and I do all the updates that it asks to do.

If you actually see a "6" error code, here's what it means. Disable your anti-virus and/or firewall.

Hello, I need help on my iphone 3gs won't turn on. I was travel to Asian when I charge my iphone with the USB Power Adapter about 10-20 mins and then when I check on how many percent on battery then I hear sound on the adapter. I think is shock circuit on the Power Adapter then my iphone shut down. I try to turn on but it won't turn on.when I try used another charge but still don't work. What should I do.

You either pay Apple to do it (usually you will get a replacement refurbished phone). Make sure to BACK IT UP first before taking it in. Plug into a computer that has the latest iTunes, do a sync and confirm the existence of the backup in iTunes / Preferences / Devices. If they give you a replacement, plug it back into the same computer and do a Restore to recover your stuff.

Hi! I have my iPhone 3gs for about 3 years now, working flawless. Last night I had my iphone on low battery until eventually it died. I connected it about 30 mins later to my charger, but after a hour I noticed it just won't react! I tried four other chargers that are compatible and none seemed to work. So I tried maybe to do a DFU mode solution, but my home button is broken so I can't do it manually. It's possible as a software in the PC..But the catch is my PC wont recognize my phone...:P
This looks like a complete dead end! Do people here have any other solution to this? Else...I'm afraid I might be needing to get a new phone. :/

You can probably get the home button fixed (and maybe a new battery) at a local repair shop. Else, purchase a new phone.

IPhone 4 wont start. Screen remains blank and buttons are unresponsive unless its connected to mains or PC, when an Apple LOGO appears. Only on mains displays IOS 6, update, connect to iTunes. On connecting to PC just displays apple logo on and off.

Only on mains occasionaly proceeds to display IOS 6 logo and a slide sign to start recovery which proceeds to an instruction to connect to iTunes. Hwever, as soon as disconnected from mains (in order to connect to the PC) screen goes totally blank again. On connecting to PC the Apple LOGO starts appearing intermittently but does not proceed to display IOS 6 LOGO. I have recharged overnight and followed resetting instructions as per the iPhone support page. Any suggestions (short of taking it to a service centre) ?

Okay, so my iphone is not working at all, i have tried everything possible. It will not turn on, itunes recognises it sometime for 30 seconds then it thinks i have not plugged anything in. I have tried DFU, recovery mode, checked the wires, updated itunes and nothing. The other day, it turned on with the apple logo but then just turned off and nothing has happened since. I am running out of options hear and it has run out of warranty. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

Okay so a few hours ago I tripped and fell on some wooden stairs with my iphone in my pocket. Afterwords I tried to listen to some music and it wouldn't turn on, I tried resetting it and plugging it into a charger but that didn't help. Iphone 3GS wont turn on, what can i do?

My battery was on 5% battery life yesterday afternoon. The battery died before I had a chance to go charge it. Now it won't turn on at all. Its been more than 24 hours at this point. I have tried restarting it several times by holding the power and home buttons down at the same time, the apple logo comes on but nothing further happens. I left it to charge all night and nothing. I have connected it to my mac to try to reset it but it does not even recognize that my iphone is connected. Still nothing happens. Any suggestions are kindly welcomed and appreciated!

my iPhone 6 wont turn on, screen is completely black, but it keeps vibrating every 10 secs or so - a single pulse - i have tried resetting with the home/power button combo but no luck - it was fully charged a few hours ago and i only used it to send a few texts and take pics - came home and not working. i have it on the charger now. any suggestions?

As far as trying to power up your device, make sure it has a good charge and then hold the button on the top of the phone and the home button on the faceplate together until the apple appears on the screen.
