MY IPHONE 4 BROKE
I bought an Iphone 4 and seven days after it turned off and turned on no more.The shop switched to a same model.Now,one months after the new Iphone 4 broke again.What's going on with apple?
How would anyone here know?
Sounds like you have run into some bad luck in this regard if indeed the exchange you received has a hardware problem as well. Not the end of the world. The iPhone includes a one year warranty and an exchange under warranty remains under the same warranty period as the original purchase.

I agree with Ralph to start with Verizon becuase you certainly don't have insurance with Apple. With Apple all you have is a warranty which will not cover broken glass. So you will be paying at Apple for sure,

My iphone broke, the screen is not working so i can not get into my phone. i have around 800 photos and they were backed up regulary on icloud; i signed into my icloud account on my ipad and backup up to hopefully find that the photos will appear. They haven't! How do i get my photos back?
Updating is not suppose to wipe any media or apps.
It may happen because sometimes things just go wrong.

I went to Settings > iCloud > Documents and Data, then turned off documents and data, and now it is back to normal. Apparently you cannot take advantage of both on the iphone 4 and 4s.

You need to respond to the verification email from Apple by clicking the Verify Now link. Make sure you check the email address you used to set up your iCloud account. Check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

If you are in a country where iTunes purchased music can be redownloaded, and if it's still in your country's store, then you might be able to redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone (and the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTiunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes). IPhone Broke Down & Phone Carrier
Hi, I am the user from HK, my iphone broke down today after only 7 days used. My signal showed only " No Service " this afternoon and my carrier " 3 " thought that the sim card holder or contact point of the phone damaged.
Some questions 1) why the quality control of 3g iphone this time not so good, I saw many people in the service center and 90% of them were brought their iphone 3g,
2) I don't know AT & T in US replace their clients new iphone or just service unit? As my 7 days iphone broke down, mine was replaced a service unit which means the iphone was not brand new but function is ok.
3) For the years of using apple products, this time experience make me feel disappointed , I don't know its because the bad serviced carrier " 3" in HK or apple this time to push 3g iphone too rush and lead to poor quality control. By the way, we are paying the highest telephone charges and I think we should deserve better service.

That will void any support from Apple. If you take the device to an Apple store you would be able to get an out of warranty replacement. A third party shop may make things worse and end up costing you more. Apple does not sell parts so all the third party shop will be able to use are parts from damaged or stolen devices. If the third party shop cannot fix the device you will have to pay full price for a replacement phone rather than the discounted price from Apple. -

A phone replaced under warranty will have the balance of the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.

I know apple has a 1-year warrenty thing and i bought my iPhone 4 back in September of 2010. I'm running out of time and i need to see how much time i have left!You may be eligible for an upgrade sooner than you think. Check the AT&T web site. My wife and I started a new contract (family plan) in March of 09. 1 phone was eligible for an upgrade after 1 year, the other after 20 months. It's not necessarily 2 years, it depends on your plan and how many lines are on it.
You MAY be able to work around it a little cheaper by adding a line if you're not on a family plan. For the price of $10 a month for the line and $15 a month for data, you would then have a line eligible for a discounted ($200) phone. That's still $300 over a year, but if you don't have the money now and could afford the monthly fees, it might be worth it to you. By the time a year is up, the contract on the first one would be up and it would definitely be eligible by then... You could upgrad every year at a discount if you were willing to pay the monthly fees.
