My iPhone 4 cannot access to App Store using WNR1000v2

does anyone else have this kind of problem? i can use emails and Safari fine but when i tried to access to App Store it says 'your request could not be completed'

iphones do have issues with non-apple routers.. I do not exactly why  but I would guess it is using some port or protocol that the AP is not allowing. Seldom happens with ethernet but is regular issue on wireless.
Is the Netgear is pure AP mode?? If so it would seem to be the fault.
See if there is a firmware upgrade from Netgear and report the problem to them.. but I doubt they are going to rewrite the firmware for iphones any time soon.
Still see if you can bypass the netgear.. do you have a MacBook you can plug into the router and bridge across to wireless. See if that can fix it.. if it also gets internet but fails on apps store then I suggest you check your main modem / router. Turn off any firewall in it and even bridge it if possible to the Macbook.
Even better borrow another modem router with wireless of the right type for your connection..
I am not sure how this is related to Time Capsules.. do you have one in there??

  • Cannot access to apps store or apps

    I have an ipad, second genertion. Since a few days, I cannot access to apps store neither any apps that I have. My ipad keeps asking me my itunes password, every time I acces to any app. Fullfilling the password doesn't solve the issue. I checked my password, it is the correct one. I checked under settings iTunes and App store and I cannot make the ipad to accept my password.
    i am currently outside my country, is it because of this  ?

    Hi Try a Reboot press & hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple  Logo After that Sign out of itunes then Sign back in. Cheers Brian

  • Bought a MacBook Pro for granddaughter for college and she cannot access the app store to purchase apps needed for class. Always gets security questions that she did not set up and therefore she is denied access. But it does show her redeemable balance.

    If she has trouble with the first advisor, she can always ask to speak to a senior advisor. However, AppleCare isn't really needed in cases like this, as the iTunes Store is quite familiar with accounts of this nature, and it's more of their speciality. Your daughter may want to contact them next time, but it's only email support at the moment (soon to change).

  • HT204053 I have changed my Apple ID in iTunes, which I access through my current ISP! I have another - old ISP on my mobile which I originally setup to access the App Store. I cannot access the App Store via old Apple ID. How do I change to new Apple ID?

    I had two (2) different ISP's, one for the mobile phone and one for the computer. I have changed my Apple ID in iTunes, and also changed my ISP provider for my mobile phone. NOW I cannot acces the App Store (through the iPhone icon. How can I change the Apple ID for access to the App Store which keeps requesting the 'old' Apple ID (lost the password and cannot get help as ISP is no longer available for help) Have tried syn, no rsult, I have the new Apple ID as Apple ID on my mobile phone. Help required here???

    To change the iCloud ID on your devices you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted (if using iOS 7), then sign back in with your current ID.
    If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, you will have to temporarily recreate it in order to delete the existing account.  To do this, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    The library network probably has a firewall which is blocking use of the ports needed to access the App store.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    Yes, if you can follow mcgerbs advice and re-install OS X. There isn't any archive & install selection in 10.8.
    Boot up holding command-r keys into your Recovery Volume.
    The screen should give you these choices...
    Restore from TM backup
    Reinstall Mac OS X
    Get help online
    Disk Utility
    First run Disk Utility Repair Disk, if you get errors run until no errors reported or reports "the disk cannot be fixed". Then, choose Reinstall OS X. This will be an install "in place" and shouldn't effect any of your own data or settings.

    The apps available to you are dependent on your location. If you are not in the USA, then you cannot get the USA app store. Whilst you may think that is unfair, it has been a part of the stardard terms and conditions you agreed to when you setup the iOS device in question originally, as well as every time you click agree to the terms and conditions.
    This is done because of two things, firstly there are many legal and semi-legal reasons that an iOS app store download is available in one territory and not another, in addition to this, it also allows apple to provide language specific content, as well as team up with companies and organisations within individual organisations in order to provide you with exclusive offers, content, and information, which it would not otherwise be able to do.
    Rules for the iOS app store are also applied in varing forms for the music store, the books store, and the iTunes U content library.
    I can very much understand your fustraition, as someone who spent a considerable portion of his life, especially during the years he grew up, living in California, USA, but now living in London, UK, I too find it very fustraiting that you cannot always get the same content from one country to another, especially when most marketing for iOS apps originates in the USA these days.
    I hope this helps your query and helps to ease your fustraition.     1. If you haven't already done so since this started, log out and log back in, or restart the computer. Then try again.
    2. Otherwise, if you're using "LittleSnitch" or any similar third-party software that blocks outgoing network connections, remove or disable it according to the developer's instructions and test.
    3. If possible, connect to a different network and test.
    4. There are reports that resetting the PRAM may solve the problem in some cases. I can't confirm.

    First off, make sure you can access the internet from your computer.  If that does not work then you have issues with either the router or you Internet Service Provider.
    If you can surf the web, try accessing the Apps Store from iTunes on your computer, not your iPod.
    If you can get to the Apps Store via iTunes, try again from your iPod.  If that does not work you may have to restore....
