my iphone 4 conked out.It was not receiving cellular signal so I switched off and on.After switching on instead of taking me to the first page of apps it showed me ios6 tab and asked me to connect to itunes where it asked me to restore settings. which i did and waited for an hour and a half and later realised its got stuck. Now the phone does not respond at all and shows the logo and a half complete bar.Is there a solution to this, if at all. Am without a phone here ppl.Thanks
Did you do the update via iTunes?
If you are only getting the logo will want to try to see if can get device in recovery mode and try the restore process via iTunes again.
If you are still unable to get the device to restore will need a repair
Out of Warranty will cost

I have a website, whitening-skincare.com and am creating a website, lew-deals.com. Suddenly, yesterday, Firefox would not let me into lew-deals.com but directed me to "Default Website Page" but I could open it on another browser. I ran ipconfig/flushdns on my computer, re-booted my computer and the problem still was there, so I went to 'Show all bookmarks' and deleted History for a couple of weeks to that site, then I cleared my cache.
I then went to the whitening-skincare site and it had reverted to where it was when I first started working on it. I tried to get into the wp-admin to see what was going on but was not recognized. I now think that I need to have all the history and cache restored but have no idea how to do it unless a system restore will do it; which I will try in a while if I get no response from you.Those sites take a long time to load for me (almost a minute)
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
*Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" -
Ever since yesterday, my Ipod apps won't open properly. I googled it, and couldn't find anything accurate. So i deleted all of the apps, and re-downloaded them. Now they're doing it again. When i tap on it, it looks like it wants to open, but then it goes back to the main menu. I googled it again, and got an answer saying to go to Itunes, uncheck the "sync apps" box, and sync. Then after that, recheck the box, and sync again. Many people said this worked, but it didn't for me. Also whenI go to sync my apps, they don't show up in Itunes. How do I get them to show up in Itunes?
I had the same issue. After searching around online I found out that you can try downloading another app (it can be any app) onto your ipod. After it finishes downloading see if your other apps open. You don't even have to keep the new app. Just see if your other ones work and you can delete the new one. That should work. If not, try to hard reset it. I can't open my iPod library in iTunes, the app doesn't show the device at all, no error message, nothing, but windows 8 opens it like it would a flash drive. It has worked for me before just fine and both have the most updated software versions. HELP PLEASE!

I have the 1st generation ipod touch i installed an update which now it is 3.1.3 version i was able to put my apps on it but when i want to use the apps it will not let me use them. What do i need to do?
Does it happen with the apps that came with the iPod?
Does it happen with all apps you have downloaded/installed?
Have you ried deleting the apps and redownload/install the apps? You will not be charged again if you are signed into the same iTunes account that originally purchased the apps.
Next would be to restore from backup
Last would be to restore to factory defaults/new iPod. -
I have atempted to gift a song to someone. I have been charged for it but it was not received. I tried to re-gift it and was charges a second time but the recipient still has not received it. How can I get the song to her or my money back?
First, have the recipient check any anti-spam filters that may be present on her email account or in any email application to make sure that messages from Apple aren't being blocked. If she is sure that is not the case, go here:

I can not install app's from the app store on my phone,and when i try, i get a message tells me (cannot connect to itunes store) that happened after i updated it to "IOS6" . it's a "IPhone4 S"
Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -
since i updated my Apple ID with correct email address I can now only send imessages to email addresses and not iphone numbers - any idea how to fix this problem ?
You might want to try contacting Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click See All Products and Services>iTunes>iTunes Store>Passwords & Security Questions>Lost or Forgotten Apple ID password. They should be able to explain what's going on and help you reset the password for the old ID if necessary. The call should be free.

Everytime I sync my iPhone it gives me the warning: The app "Pages" was not installed on the iPhone "Mom's iPhone" because you are not authorized for it on this computer.
Pages was installed when I initially purchased it for my iPhone, but when I got the 4S recently I got the above message. I tried deauthorizing and then reauthorizing, but it didn't help. The Install/Will Install option is there, but gets me the same message. (And I did hit the Apply button)Agh! I figured out I had two apple id's and was able to install Pages from that account. Dumb! :/

My iphone4s can not update the apps while it could download the apps. It shows that the update can not access to itune store. I don't know how to deal with it...
Many people (including me) are having the same problem at present. There are other threads in the message board with the same complaint.
There is nothing you can do about it except wait for Apple to fix the problem. -
I have just tried to update my iphone 4 to iso 6, it got almost all the way through then froze. the only screen i get now is with the itunes icon and picture of a usb cable end. I can turn it on and off but not reboot or do anything else. Further more the computor now does not recognise the phone being connected/disconnected. Help please!

restarting my device
signing out of the store and restarting the device and signing back in
reset all settings
double taping on "waiting" apps
All my softwear is up to date. I know that apps only download one at a time but I have checked them all and they are all in waiting. I am connected to wifi.
HELP!This is strange, but it may be a fix for my problem. These are the steps I took to possibly fix my problem. Before trying this I noticed that not only are all apps that are being updated listed as "Waiting", but new apps being installed were also listed as "Waiting".
I unselected "Sync Apps" in iTunes on my Mac. A sync automatically started and all the apps, other than the standard apps were removed.
I selected "Sync Apps" and chose just one app to install. I chose iBooks because it's an Apple app and because there is significant content associated with it through my purchases. The iBooks app installed without issue.
I selected a larger group of apps to install (basically all those that began with the letter "A"). These apps installed fine and are useable.
I selected all the apps I wanted on my iPad. These apps (113 total) all installed without being listed as "Waiting".
I used the App Store on my iPad and chose one app to update. The app was immediately listed as "Waiting" and when tapped was listed as "Paused".
I removed the app from the iPad and reinstalled it via iTunes on my Mac. The app installed fine and works great.
I accessed the iTunes Store and went to the screen "My App Updates". I selected the same app I tried to update in Step 5. The update work fine.
I synced my iPad and the newly updated app was installed on my iPad without issue.
This tells me that the issue lies within the process that updates apps on the iPad. If the app is updated in iTunes proper on my Mac, the updated app is installed on the iPad without issue.
I've only tried this with one app. I will now update all the apps on my Mac via iTunes and see if the newer versions install correctly on the iPad after syncing.
I hope this helps other people having this problem.

No one here can help you. If your phone is no longer under warranty, a third-party repair shop will most likely be your best bet. You can't mail the phone to Apple, in the US, as Apple does not accept international shipments. You could mail it to a friend/relative, in the US, & they could take it to an Apple store for you. Some Apple stores repair iPhones. Otherwise, you're looking at an out of warranty replacement.
