My iphone 4 deletes texts as I send and receive them but only from 1 contact

Hi all,
I recently brought my first Iphone (4 8GB) 2 weeks ago and on monday I made a very stupid error and accidently reset my phone when syncing it to itunes (no idea how!!).
My issue is although I managed to sort it out my phone it has been deleting text and iphone messages from 1 contact who I text the most. I have no idea why or how it's doing this and although its a relatively small issue its increasingly annoying and I have not a clue how to correct it! I have tried renaming the contact (& have since backed up my phone) and done the usual turn it off and on again but none of this has worked.

The answer is no, but not because of anything to do with the webOS. This feature uses a brand-new Bluetooth profile called MAP (Messaging Access Profile) and many devices have not implemented support for it yet. I took a quick look on the Apple support pages and found this article that lists the supported Bluetooth profiles. As you can see, MAP is not listed which means syncing SMS messages will not work on your iPhone.

This happens when you both use the same Apple ID for iMessage. You can continue to share the same ID for pruchasing from the iTunes & App stores, but you should be using a different ID for iMessage. To fix this you have two choices:
On one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID (so you are both using a different ID for iMessage); or
On both phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at". Also uncheck anyone else's phone number, if present.

Here the way to do it, for both, or for only one Go into your settings, Messages and turn on iMessage. It will then send messages that are iMessages to both your iPad and iPhone. You can also turn off this feature on the iPad if you do not want to receive messages on the iPad.

I just encountered this problem for the first time and stumbled upon this forum to find a solution. I played around with it a bit and it seems that if you slide your finger from the bottom up, you will come upon that new screen that will allow you to do various functions with your phone (put it in airport mode, lock, etc.), you can select your Airport from this screen and play your music wirelessly from your phone; at least this was my experience. I'm guessing you are getting the error for all messages you attempt to send, is that correct?
What type of phone did you upgrade from? We ask because if you have switched from an Apple device (e.g., iPhone) to a non-Apple device (e.g., Android, Blackberry, etc.) and previously used the iMessage service, you may experience issues sending/receiving SMS/MMS messages with Apple device users. You need to deactivate the iMessage service within your Apple account to restore normal SMS/MMS functionality.

Ipad 3 sends and receives email but can no longer connect to the Internet with Safari.

Other Ipads in house (Ipad 3 and Ipad 2) work fine. Iphones, Imac also work fine. I have rebooted the Ipad, renewed the lease, closed and reopened Safari, turned airplane mode on/off, etc. etc. Ipad also won't connect to Itunes. Basically, I have run out of ideas. Thought it was not connecting to Wifi but it still sends and receive semail and texts / imessages. This is a wifi only model.

Where is the Start new conversations from??? When I go to Send & Receive, there is no where to add or set to receive at my phone number. There is only a setting to Add Another Email and my Apple Id is already there. No place or way to add a phone number to receive at. I import messages into Thunderbird. I send and receive emails. One of the things I like about Thunderbird is that I can insert (image, link, etc) right where I want to, and I can Attach. But not just a simple attach file. No, I can also click Attach and choose Webpage. A lot of web-based emails are plain, simple, no frills - Attach file and that's it.
So I need to have my client be able to do the same thing I do when sending out emails, Namely sending out emails with an Electronic Press Kit (EPK) attached - which is to say, a webpage (not a pdf in our case). So, I need her to download, install, and use Thunderbird.
Here's the problem and my question. She needs to access, send, and receive from my email account. That would be easy if it was simple attach files - she could just login on the web, go to squirrel mail and bang it out.. Here it is: She needs to be able to import the messages to be able to reply to some messages - she needs access to what I have access to. She needs to use Thunderbird so she can take advantage of the features like insert image with link or attaching a webpage. My question is how will this affect my use? Can 2 people simultaneously and from different locations access and use the same email account or is it a case where her importing the emails would cut me off..Is it an either or thing? Basically, can her and I both import the emails or can they only be imported to one location at a time. Because every time someone sends me an email i get it right there on my Thunderbird application..it's imported to my Thunderbird..I want her and I to be able to do that without affecting each other. I don't want her to start importing to her desktop and then I can no longer import. If she says "point those messages to my computer what will happen to my ability to access them on my computer in the same manner I am currently?

I think there is a contradiction in your requirements. You want two people to share an account and you don't want either to interfere with the other.
The short and simple answer is to use IMAP to connect to the mail server. If your current email provider doesn't offer IMAP, find another that does. This is old technology already and it's disgraceful that some email providers haven't yet put it in place.
IMAP means that your messages are stored on the server and both of you will see exactly the same set of messages. And therein lies the contradiction; you will both see changes made by the other so you are inherently interfering with one another.
Caveats: some providers may not permit you both to access the account concurrently, and even if they do, things may become interesting if you both choose to work on the same message simultaneously.
Note that all of this is about email servers and protocols; your choice of Thunderbird as your email client has little bearing on the situation.

Then it shows my phone number in a gray color an I can't click on it!
Then it shows my email in black to where I can click on that!

1-800-694-7466 is Apple support for iphone, What region are you in? It's up and running now for many but another poster in Boston says they aren't. Perhaps it's regional. Only Apple can say at this point.

Same sender and receiver service but different communication channel

I am doing a scenario Proxy to JMS,HTTP and SOAP Adapter ( everything resides in the same recieiver service )
Mesage from SRM System ( proxy ) has to sent to MQ service. But in MQ I have to pass to the same message to three different nodes namely - JMS, HTTP and SOAP Adapter.
I tried to configure Multiple receivers in the receiver determination. Its doesn't allow add the same service.
Even if i configured with Multiple services for each nodes - its not allowing to create receiver detemination. It says already exits
Please tell me fesible solution how to deisgn this

you need to use only one receiver determination in your case...do not add the receivers
u can have 3 different interface determinations and in each case the sender / receiver / outbound interface will be the same ..
only the inbound interface will change ....so u will have 3 inbound interfaces ..
3 receiver communcation channels for 3 adapters and of course 3 receiver agreements

We can also create transport rules via EMC.
