My Iphone 4 don't turn on. When i plug it to charger it wakes up, but when i unplug it - it shuts down and don't turn on. Any help?

hard reset then i would say it needs to be replaced. if your in your limited hardware warranty apple with do it free if your not then it is 149 $

Try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. You may need to connect the device to the charger before you attempt the reset.

iPhone 3GS keeps turning off/shutting down. After numerous attempts I've managed to get it on again. Any ideas - could it be battery? Suggestions welcome.

Try forcing the phone into recovery mode and restore as a new device.

Doing this will help eliminate any possible software issue that could be causing this. Setting up a new device will bypass a backup with possible data corruption.
If the issue continues after this, you should contact Apple for service for the phone as it will very likely be a hardware issue.

My iPhone 4S just turned off for no reason and won't turn back on?

My iPhone 4S just died for no apparent reason and now it will not turn back on. It was at about 90% battery at the time because I had just recently charged it so I don't think it died because of low battery. I have tried plugging it into outlets and computers/iTunes and nothing seems to work. I also can't do the trick involving holding down the power and home button because my power button has been jammed for over a year now. My iPhone is about 2 years old and I have never had this problem before. Earlier today it died for no reason but when I plugged it in, it turned on with no problem.
Is there anything I can do about this? Also, I am due for a phone upgrade in about 3 weeks. I was planning on getting the 5S. Is there any way that I would be able to get the upgrade several weeks early if my phone is broken?

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.

My advice is to try not to treat this like it is a paid service provided by compensated professionals. Ask nicely and one of the nice folks here might take some time out of their weekend to offer advice.

If the basics from the User Guide have all been tried (restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new) and you still have problems, then you've done all the troubleshooting you can do. You'll need to bring your phone into Apple or an authorized service provider in your area.

You could be having an battery issue...before doing any troubleshooting...I recommended calling apple and asking them to run a diagnostics test on your iPhone so they can see if something is going on with your battery..if they battery is fine i would them troubleshoot...I say call fiesta because you don't want to troubleshoot and the. I'm not an apple expert or anything, but after hearing this from a coworker (and doing a quick google search) many of the generic chargers do not work in the 5s (especially after the most recent update.) I'm thinking this may be the problem in your case...the charger is not working so the phone just needs a good charge from either an apple certified charger or a generic that will actually work with the phone. I've read some people are able to pull the cable out, turn it around and then plug it back in facing the opposite direction to get it to work. Many have reported, however, that even when this remedies the cable issue, its still won't charge the phone while it is completely dead (which is likely the case since it won't power on at all.) So if you haven't fixed your problem by now, go buy a new charger and see what happens. You might be able to go into and apple store and borrow a charger there for a few minutes to see if this actually IS the problem. That way you don't waste your money before buying.

First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

Sorry, my previous post was meant for another thread.
You can try resetting your iPhone by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

My iphone 4 wont turn on. I used my phone with no prob this morning but then it decided it was turning off and not turning back on again.... I plug it into the wall to charge it tells me to connect to iTunes but as soon as I unplug my phone it turns off. I connect it to computer for iTunes and it restarts after the apple symbol comes up. ???????
I had my phone connected to the computer at work all afternoon and watched it show the apple symbol then switch off and do it again and again. I don't see how it would be the battery as I felt it should have plenty of charge by now plus I have tried all different cables and its still the same.
Please help me. I do like my iPhone but I only seem to have problems.

Those are features of faulty battery. Make Genius reservation and take to Apple Store for evaluation. Or try battery replacement as first step.
