Take it to an Apple Store and see about getting an out of warranty replacement. I believe it will run you about $150.

I am seeing if I can get another battery even though I do not believe that is the issue. It keeps giving me vdd_under which I believe is under voltage, maybe it is just a faulty battery? It charges up like normal and functions normal (when plugged in, or above 90%) but it gives under voltage warnings and shuts down when in heavy use (using camera or going back and forth to imessage). When just sitting idle it doesn't seem to turn off until that 55-60% mark. It may just be a faulty battery because I feel I installed all of the other cables correctly when replacing the screen, and I don't think those connections should affect the battery anyway except for maybe the logic board cable (the 2nd cable to be unplugged after the battery cable) I guess I could clean that out as well with isopropyl just in case.
Any other suggestions would be helpful... and I will get back to you if a new battery helps. Thanks! -

On the iPod, make sure your Calendar is set to Gregorian (Settings > General > International > Calendar). Also make sure your date and time on your computer is correct as well as the Time Zones on both.

quick fixes won't work either and there is nothing in the levels file - no histogram. my photos are in raw. I tried deleting the IPhoto plist file and restart but no luck.
Launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new library. Import a couple of photos and see if you can edit theme there. If not I suspect a reinstall of iPhoto might be necessary. I am trying to transfer files between my ipad 3 and my macbook pro mid-2012 and they will just not connect. I connected them yesterday and it worked fine. And i can not air drop these files into my ipad it has to be done through itunes. And i can not afford to buy a new computer. How do i get these two to connect without having to buy a completely new computer?
Computer USB ports, regardless of the computer maker, have a relatively low power output and thus are not good chargers. They will charge but it takes a long time. You should be charging your iPad from wall power, or a more powerful source like an in-car charger.
Buying another computer will not change that. -
Magic mouse is not discovered by bluethooth software, but it worked OK until 2 weeks ago (10.6.8 and iMac 24). Now the double clik does not open messages, I must go to the file menu to do it. A nuisance. Closing a file takes exactly 2 or 3 seconds! Any idea? Mouse and batteries are OK and checked by retailer. Please help.

My magic mouse works ok but I am getting the same message from Mouse prefs that no mouse is “discovered” and the progress gear spins forever. For the time being, at least, my mouse functions as expected.
I have trashed mouse prefs and rebooted, but that did not solve the problem. -
Screen locking up and auto rotation not working on phone wakeup
Since updating to iOS8 my iPhone 5 and 5s will lock up when waking the phone. I also have noticed that the screen rotation does not work riight away and is sluggish. Certain apps tend to freeze which could be that they need an update themselves. It is a shame that Apple has resorted to using its customers as beta testers for their software. As a die hard Apple fan it is getting harder to stay true to the company. Apple should be leading not playing catch up which is why I think theses major software issues develop.

How do I get my subscription activation to "stick"? 30 days in and it is not working now???
I signed up for the Creative Cloud on November 25th. Everything went fine, I installed various software without any (known) issues and things worked... On, or around, Saturday, Dec. 22, I got a "subscription activation" notification and I went through the process of logging into the account and it came back and said "subscription activated". Photoshop worked, no problem. Ten minutes later, with a third or fourth time of bringing up Photoshop (directily or via Bridge), it asked to go through the "subscription activation" again... and again, and again. Every other time, every third, fourth, fifth time bringing up Photoshop it would ask again. Sometimes everything would work ok, other times Photoshop would just drop out and close.
Same thing happened on Sunday... Each time it would tell me that the subscription was activated. Each time, it came back, sometime in the next several uses.
This has continued to ocurr ever since.
This is NOT how I understood things were supposed to work. I was under the impression that all I only had to have internet access ONCE, around the 30 day period for re-activation. Not that it would require multiple / continual activations after 30 days....
Not only is this an embarassment, when a client is with me, it is a royal pain in the neck and extremely time consuming (costly).
"Chat" was of no help. Nothing they can do, was what I was told, "it is a technical problem" and I have to call in...
Calling in... It didn't happen the one or two times they tried, it happened two or three times AFTER they were long gone.
Now it has been over 30 days and "Chat" tells me there is nothing they can do about the problem and nothing they can do about cancelling the subscription, or even exchanging the remaining amount on my subscription towards an upgrade for a stand-a-lone version of Photoshop. Quote: I had 30 days to decide I didn't want to use the service. Per the agreement, I can't cancel without paying a penalty.
The service is NOT working as expected and the problem was not noticed until the 30 day mark, when activation was requested / required!!! How could I have possibly known there was a problem until it came up??
Very frustraighted... and worse, I have no idea where to turn, who to ask...?????

There is an issue with Photoshop specifically related to recent updates in which causes the licensing to revert to trial after a certain number of launches (typically 2-3).
The current workarounds are to either:
- Sign in with your Adobe ID again every few launches
- Uninstall Photoshop CS6 and then reinstall it but don't install any of the updates
The issue with the updates is planned to be fixed in the coming weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.
