My iPhone 4 has been overheated all this week
My iPhone has been overheated all this week, and making rare sounds..what should I do?.
I would take it into an Apple Store and see what they have to say about it. It could be that your unit is somehow defective (likely a bad battery). If it's covered under warranty, they will replace the iPhone so be sure and do a complete backup before taking it in.

Hi,
My iphone 4 has 2 email accounts. Gmail and Outlook. I receive and send messages from both. Gmail is default.
Recently my Outlook messages have started to disappear once they have been read. They then appear on my business PC. This is not helpful if I am in Sydney Australia and my PC is in Europe.. How do I stop this from happening please?

APAprp44, the easiest thing you could do, is delete your outlook mail, and readd it. That will usually take care of almost any issue you're having.

I also had my phone go into recovery mode and lost everything up until it's last back up and don't have all my son's games I downloaded for him, lost pics, new contacts that i had added. I don't know what the big hype of the iphone really is, i guess because I am not fully aware of how to use it but I am tired of my itunes store not coming up on my computer and apple wont' help me
Thanks for your quick response, but all of my iTunes account info is correct. I also just discovered that I can connect with 3G and purchase apps without problems, so it's just the wifi connection (and only with iTunes store) that is giving me problems. I have made sure I have the latest software/firmware on my Airport Express network, and my iOS devices, and everything works well on all of my devices (can even browse the itunes store and internet) until I attempt a purchase. I can purchase with 3G but not on Wifi. The problem arose on both my iPhone and iPad at exactly the same time!

Trying to take photos during Christmas Eve service and the whole thing just shuts down over and over. It's fully-charged, I keep minimal apps on it, and have followed all battery-saving techniques ever since upgrading to ios7. This is pretty important -- we have no other cameras in our home and now we have no way to take pictures Christmas Morning!!!
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

I went on Itunes to install new software and backup. It has been running all night and still saying preparing Iphone for restore. How long is this suppose to take?
Preparing your iPhone for restore its supposed to be about 1-2 minutes! Do you see any errors the time you plug in the wire from your iPhone to iTunes?

Since upgrading to iOS 6 my iPhone 4 has been acting up and tonight it has totally died!!! No response at all. Please help what can I do?
I suggest contacting apple support...I know in Australia it's 1300 321 456...Not sure what it is for where you are, try this website http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57. Alternatively, if you haven't already, sync it with iTunes. If the iPhone's not been synced before, try holding the power and home buttons down at once. That should reboot the phone. Might sound stupid, but make sure it's fully charged first.

Can't make or receive any calls. When making a call, you see the thing dialing but no tone, it rings at he other end however. When somebody trying to call me, it does not ring at my end. If you try to end the call, the phone page will just freeze, when you exit the phone page to go try the MP3 player for example, and come back, the phone is still trying to end the previous call. I tried resetting the network settings, turn the phone off and on , no difference at all. It's easter Sunday, everything is closed here in Montreal. -
my iphone 4s has been reporting invalid sim/sim card failure intermittently for a week. I thought it was a one/two-time thing, so had to manually eject SIM card and put back in. Today, after it happened twice in 12 hours, someone told me to reset - i thought they meant reset all settings, not network settings. while in the middle of resetting, there was an invalid SIM card again. so a few questions - which should i do first? try to manually back up from itunes (not connected to cloud - will be after tonight!), or eject SIM card? don't know if one will jeopardize the other. also, the last time i backed up was 6 days ago - have taken hundreds of pics since then - are those all lost? is there a way to essentially not reset? i thought the reset was okay because it said i'd lose no data or media. Help! thanks much!

My iMac (2011) has been persistently throwing this error message: "SafariDAVClient quit unexpectedly." This started when I moved up to Mavericks, from Lion. Nothing crashes, and all I have to do is click "ok" to get rid of the error window. Still, annoying, as this darn Error message pops up at least every 60 seconds Help?

That's related since the process is attempting to load your Safari bookmarks from iCloud, and is crashing for some reason.
Try this:
Select the entire line that follows (triple-click to select it), then control-click, and from the contextual menu that appears, select Services > Reveal in Finder:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.iCloudHelper
Drag that entire folder to the Desktop.
Quit Safari.
Attempt to open iCloud Preferences again. If it opens de-select Safari.
Launch Safari again and determine if the problem is fixed. -
I have enlarged icons on the log in screen and can not enter my login code. I have tried enough times that I am locked out and my iphone 5 has been disabled.How do I fix this??

My iPhone 5s has been deleting my calendar. First time, just the calendar, then next time the calendar and contacts, then yesterday, calendar, contacts, notes and reminders. The phone is only 6 months old or so and is on iOS 7.1.2 (although I need to update it- but have to do some storage management first...)
I have looked at my calendar in my icloud account and it is a week or so out of date, even though it supposedly backed up from my phone on Friday. I am becoming very frustrated by this. Am I doing something wrong? Advice would be much appreciated. In the past I have deleted my icloud account from my phone and then re-signed in, as well as sharing my calendar with myself to restore it, and it works eventually.Sorry I misstyped- it is an iphone 4s.

you are only able to use up to 3 icloud accounts on an ios device.

You have to look at the email protocol being used. the Apple email system uses IMAP, does Tinyworld use IMAP or POP?
Does the email system permit delivery receipts to be requested?
Just some of the things one needs to determine from the information provided by the email service provider.
