Your iPhone is probably in recovery mode. Have you tried plugging it into the computer it is linked to?

My phonw got wet and the screen was cracked. so i thought the screen mustve gone bad or something so i bought a new screen and got it replaced. Now the whole phone is working like i can hear the messages come in and everythin but the screen just isnt turning on. I really need to know whats wrong with the d phone? Also i knew it was wet so i left the phone in rice for 2 days and then got the screen replaced.

try holding and pressing the sleep button and home button together for a few seconds and see if there will be any change in the screen and apple logo should appear after 10 seconds or so if not i guess its a problem with the screen itself maybe darkened pixels or maybe a wire is cut off

Are you sure your charger and/or cable are working ? Try another cable and leave it to charge for at least 30 minutes before trying to start again.

well, the video is probably in a format that iTunes doesn't recognize. Convert it using an application like Handbrake.

Have you tried resetting the phone? Press and hold both the sleep button and home button until the screen goes blank and then the Apple logo reappears. It can take a little while so be patient.
