My iPhone 4 has no connection in my home. I think it's because something is fried. Do you have anyway of fixing it!
I don't really know how to dissemble a iPhone.

Asking for help without providing specifics is really just a waste of everyones time.
Also, the iPhone is not user servicable.

Unless im standing in my study i am unable to join my wifi network from anywhere in the house. Once i step out, i lose connection and im "unable to join wifi network". I can see my network pop up in wifi menu of the settings but when clicked i almost immediately get a message saying "unable to join wifi network".
I have had all the iphones up to the 4s and none have had this issue. Im using a netgear CVG824G modem and its cable. Currently there are laptops working fine off the wifi as well as an ipad 3.
I have tried everything i have found, reset network settings more than once, tried an airplane mode glitch i herd, i tried typing my wifi in rather then tapping it and my wifi is definitely turned on. I am open to any type of help so please if you have any idea let me know!

Thanks!!!What you're looking at right now may very well be that your WiFi chip is broke; either that, or you have a pretty unexplainable technical issue. Take it to an Apple Store if you can. Ask them if there is an issue with it.

I was in the middle of the iOS 8 update and tried to turn my phone off (yes, I realize this was dumb) But what happened was it tried to reset. Now, my iphone 4s has the connect to itunes screen. I have tried to reset, recover, etc but I keep getting and error -51 message. Any ideas how I can get my phone working again? I am not worried about saving any info just having a phone to use!
Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message. -

You will be able to track the phone as long as it is on and connected to a network (cel or Wifi). If you can't eventually recover the phone, you should erase it remotely via Find my iPhone. Be aware that once you erase it, you will not be able to track it.
When you locked the phone, what you did was put a 4 digit passcode. That is not foolproof but safe for a time.
Has the phone moved/changed locations recently? If not, it ***could*** be that it is lost and not stolen. A smart thief would have probably erased the phone by now. -

We are a two iPhone family, both on the same service provider. My wires iPhone is unable to connect to the home network where as mine is! In the settings her phone has no details for the IP address etc where as mine does! I cannot even enter the details manually.
I have done resets on off and nothing? HELP!What is that and how. I have 3 airports all configured identically and connected to one router via ethernet!
A power cycle is powering down for ~ 1 minute and powering back up. -

My iPhone 4s will not connect with my home WiFi network. I have ios6 on my iPhone. The connection was working perfectly before I updated my IMac and my MacBook Pro to ios 10.8.2. I have had ios6 since I purchased the phone a couple of months ago. It searches for a network and finds them, but when it asks for my password, it will not accept the password. Have never had this happen before.

Try resetting your network settings. Go to General\Reset\Reset Netork Settings. Sometimes this will fix things. If not, what type of router do you have, what network are you running (B, G, N, etc.).,

Since I have upgraded the the latest iOS in my iPhone 4S , this problem started and eventually the white button for Wi-fi stopped working. The one day before switching off the phone , I took out the SIM and reset the Networking and didn't switch on. Then I wrapped the phone with tissue paper and kept it in the deep refrigerator for 25 to 30 minutes and after cleaning frosty layer, I turned on the phone.... Somehow the Wi-fi button started working and the Wi-fi network too. Then only I inserted the SIM . Magic..!! My phone is still working fine . But I have to do this process once or twice a month every time Wi-fi stops working. Good luck my friend....hope you get benefitted !!

My iPhone 4 will not connect to my home wi-fi network, and it doesn't take me to the password as it used to do. Comcast is my internet provider.
If you can see your home WiFi network inside Settings>WiFi, then press the blue arrow to the right of it, and on the next sreen press "Forget this network".
Now go back so that you see your network again, then press on it and you should be prompted for the password. -

I would suggest trying to do what I call a "forced reboot". Hold the home and power buttons down and see if that works. Also try entering in a wifi network: settings->Wifi->Other and enter in all the info and see if that works.

What happens when the iPhone attempts to join the Wi-Fi network? Does it get an IP address?
What type of wireless security are you using on the Wi-Fi network?
How many characters are in the password?
If you using WEP you'll want to use a 5 character key for 40 bit WEP, or a 13 character key for 128 bit WEP.
