Good afternoon,
I'm French.
Ok here is my problem.
My iphone 4 is block, and he was power on not long before he block.
I sent a sms and locked the iphone, 5 minutes after, i want to check if i had a reply, and, i cannot do anything, the screen is pitch black, i press all the buttons i can, and none of them works.
My home button don't work originaly, so i can't go to DFU mod, when i plug the iphone to the computer, nothing is hapening.
I'm on IOS 7.
Please, i need your help.

I am experience a similar problem, my iphone 4 either turns off by itself or I am unable to answer a call. Everything just blocks. After contacting 2 different apple service spots still no answer as to how can we fix the problem. Worse, I am unable to revert back to ios 5.1.1 where everything worked just fine.

I have a similair problem. My Iphone 5 has been doing a recovery for approximately 6 to 7 hours. Should I expect it to take this long or should I restart the process? Itunes does say it is doing a recovery and looks active but I question the length of time that this is taking.

Regardless, if your iPhone is officially unlocked you need to contact the new carrier.

The last month I thought I lost my iPhone in a travel to USA, so I called to the company to block it couse I lost it in the airport. 2 weeks ago I found the phone inside on my suitecase, I call back to the company (Canda Rogers) to unblock it, they did the job and unblock the IMEI number, but I cant still using the phone. You can connect an iPhone to a Mac via Bluetooth for Internet Tethering, but not for file transfers.
It's nothing to do with AT&T as the same restriction is in place throughout the rest of the world where AT&T isn't used.
Apple have never stated why the iPhone does not have Bluetooth File Transfer capability, but my guess is that it is to prevent easy sharing of copyrighted music and videos. Apple's sells this content for the music and movie companies and no doubt has to put restrictions in place to prevent easy copying.

Spam email getting on iPhone even though blocked on computer

So just about 2 days ago someone obvisially got my email and so for some reason I am getting it on my iPhone.
What is weird is that when I log onto gmail online, I don't see any spam in my inbox, it's being blocked.
So it's somehow only getti on my phone.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like your email program has SPAM filters set in it.
The iPhone is connecting to your mail server, thus gets what is on the mail server.
Your home computer does the same but then filters as it comes in with spam software/filters (however you have it setup)
For me, my spam filters are set on my mail server itself so spam is filtered out before any computer/device even checks for mail, thus I don't get spam on my computer or on my phone.
Consider a mail service that filters spam at the server level.

I've spoken with AT&T and suggested:
1) permit 3 blocks in a given time period
that expire
2) implement pattern matching (e.g. block 212-* ...
all calls from New York City.)
3) charge $0.00 for it
That should make everyone happy (customer
and provider.)
Still hoping for privacy in the age of

Unless Find My iPhone was set up in Settings > iCloud there will be no way to track the iPhone.
To check it, go to iCloud.com/#find and sign in with your Apple ID. If it shows your iPhone in the list (click All Devices at the top centre after logging in), you can select to either Lock, Erase or "Play Sound at Full Volume".
If it wasn't set up with Find My iPhone, tracking the iPhone will be impossible (unfortunately CSI & NCIS type tracking systems aren't available to the real world or your average local Police force yet) and even Apple can't locate a lost/stolen device for you due to privacy laws. Blocking the handset will however still be possible... through your Network.
It is a little known fact that the network can not only block your SIM card but also your phone... As long as you have the IMEI number, the network can block your SIM and Blacklist your handset's IMEI. As any cellular network uses both the SIM and IMEI for cellular handshake to identify network and communication protocols to be used, the IMEI number being blacklisted renders the phone unusable on any network unless the handset is jailbroken to report a false IMEI... a feature of Jailbreaking that as far as I am aware is not yet possible!
