My iphone 4 is missing the A-Z jumplist
My iPhone 4 is missing the headers that alphabetize your music on your phone as well as the index on the right hand side that allows you to quickly jump to any songs starting with a certain letter. Can somebody please help me? !!
Sounds like you need to either:
Reset
Restore from backup
Restore, then load your last backup
Restore, but don't load a backup at all
One of those should fix the issue ... hopefully not the last since that means re-doing everything on your phone, and loss of app data, texts, etc.

Try this:
Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Confirm that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

I have manually back up my iphone few days back, and my contact got missing the next day. i restored my back up from iTunes, however, my contact did not get restored. How do i check if the manual back up did actually back up my contact or not? How do i get back my old contact in my phone?

But I may be able to answer your first and third paragraphs, which seem to address the same question.
I wonder where your iPhone states it was backed up yesterday. I am going to assume that you see this under Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
If that is true, then the backup from yesterday is in iCloud. The one and only way to restore an iCloud backup is to do this on your iPhone:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
That will cause your iPhone to begin a setup process. As part of that process, assuming you enter the same Apple ID you used when you created the iCloud backup, you will be offered the opportunity to restore from it. -

Make sure your phone is connected to the computer and iTunes is open
1. Visit Instagram.com from your computer web browser
2. Click "Download in the app store"
3. It will download and show up in your iTunes
4. Highlight and sync the app to your iPhone (note: it will not show up on your phone, even after it says syncing is complete).
5. In iTunes, select the Instagram icon and click "Remove" or "Uninstall"
6. Click Accept and Uninstall when it asks you to confirm as it will remove instagram and its data from your iPhone
7. Disconnect the phone from the computer
8. Manually reboot the phone after exiting all apps
9. Upon re-start, you will be able to access the app in the App Store, and install it -

Wow seems like some physical damage to the iPhone whether this is a manufacturing defect or misuse it would need to be evaluated and determined at either an Apple Store or Service provider. And yes this is most likely causing the camera not to focus.

I should know, but I don't. If I upload all of my photos to iCloud and then delete them off of my iPhone (for more storage space), will they all remain in iCloud or am I missing the point of iCloud?
Right now, there is no way to upload and access photos in iCloud. You need to import them to a computer if you want to be able to retrieve them later:

Find my iPhone - missed the call
My passlock protected phone was lost at a community event. I enacted "find my iPhone" and it traced to an unsavory part of town. It only had 9% battery life. It was located at 9:51 at night. This afternoon it was "located" again in a different part of town. The person whose number I gave as a contact on the lost screen message enacted through "find my iPhone" received a call...and missed the call. They tried to call back but, of course, it's a locked phone - the person who has the phone can't receive a call (that's right, isn't it?)

No. You can slide to answer without entering the passcode. You just can't get into the phone.

I have just bought a new computer and downloaded itunes. I plugged in my iphone and upgraded to the newest itunes/ synched etc. Now have no music or apps on the phone. Contacts, texts, photos all fine. Just all itunes content that is missiing. It isn't showing in my itunes account on my computer or on my phone. Any idea how to get it back? (No point synching with itunes on my computer as it isn't there either!)
I suggest copying your entire iTunes library to your new computer, also you might want to copy the photos you want to save. Then sync your device to the new iTunes and copy over your music, documents and photos that you want.
If you are no longer going to use the old computer you should open up iTunes on the old computer and use the menu to deauthorize it. Be sure to use the same iTunes menu on your new computer to Authorize the new one. -

Number one - that person has given you false information...the Apple store genius bar supports all Apple products whether in or out of warranty. Checking is free, service on an out of warranty item is not free.
Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.
Since you show that you have iOS 7.0.3 you might want to update that iOS to 7.0.4...plug the iPhone in so you are on a solid power source, then while on a WiFi go to Settings > General > Software Update and update to 7.0.4.
