My iphone 4 is possessed. it works on its own, calling people, sending texts, opening apps, etc. i can't even text anyone without it taking over.

Standard troubleshooting...
Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider if, it comes up. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Remove all apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red (-) to delete all apps from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

I get trying to unlock it and it finally accepted the 4 digit PIN number on my SIM Card, which it wasnt accepting before (there is also a super PIN number, which i dont know whats for). My wife is having the exact same issue after updating to the new iOS 8.1.1 and we've tried all the same steps even restoring the phone as a new phone. We've contacted our service provider and they've told us to go to apple to potentially "remove" her serial number from their servers to allow it to work properly on the service we have. A Restore first downloads a new copy of iOS to your computer. On a slow Internet connection this can take a long time. How fast is your connection? How long would you expect it to take to download 900 MB?
That's assuming nothing is interfering with the download. Some firewalls and antivirus programs will block the download or slow it down. So you should temporarily disable your security software. Security software can also block the update after the iOS download is complete.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work....

try deleting your icloud account from your phone. you can also try disabling 3G.

Iphone 5 from Dubai not working in INDIA. Call failed

I bought 3 Iphone5 from Dubai out of it 2 are working on Vodafone India(Call & 3G data) but the Third iphone 5(3G Data only) on vodafone.
i have managed to cut sim into NANO sim they are working on other two Iphone5 but not on last one.
i can use DATA service on third iphone but cant call or sms it shows call failed.
Any Solution ???

There is the problem. The iPhones originated in the US and there are NO unlocked iPhones for sale in the US.
In the future, it's best to only purchase iPhones directly from Apple or an authorized reseller.
You may simply be out of luck. You can try contacting Verizon and see if they will unlock the device for you, there is no guarantee.
If the other two are locked to AT&T, you are completely out of luck.
