Hi Ive just had the same problem,I was playing a gamy 'my farm' & i put my iphone 4 down to answer door then when i picked it up the iphone was black screen & no power,i did plugin to itunes & the wall plug but nothing,then i held the power & home buttons down for about 6 seconds & the apple logo appeared.I really freaked,its ok right now but im phoning my apple store becoz it had 77% battery so theres something wrong with this iphone 4.
I changed my 3gs 4 times & my original 2g 5 times,I just dont have any luck with iphones,now im worried its gonna do that again ,the game 'my farm keeps dropping out & saying no internet yet my internet connection is strong & fine,looks like we have the same problem even wen i plugged it into itunes it didnt recognise the iphone,i hope u get yours sorted

I've moved my Aperture library to another computer, and masters are referencing an old path name. How can I update these references? Reloctating masters does not work in this case :(

I've moved my Aperture library from one computer to another using Finder.
I merged the library with one which was already on the computer.
Now, the photos I imported have reference to the old path name on my old computer.
How can I update these references as "Relocate Masters" does not work in this case?

Just one suggestion to be able to reconnect all at once:
Create a smart album containing the images with missing masters:
File -> New -> Smart Album, and add a rule: File Status is "Missing" (or File Status is "offline")
Then select the images in this album and go to the File menu:
and select: File -> Locate referenced File
If you are lucky, Aperture will reconnect all at once, if you point the first image version to its counterpart.

hello, the addons manager is exactly the right place to look for it. please try disabling the addons that are listed there one-by-one (a restart of the browser might be necessary after each step). maybe one of them is bundling this kind of adware.

You can use the Settings in the slideshow to Show Captions, either the Description filed be display, the Title field or both.
If you create the slideshow in iDVD from still photos from iPhoto you can add the Description and/or Title via the settings in iDVD.
Since iDVD adds both automatically the user must go thru the slideshow and remove those items not wanted.

The website may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving the name and password.
You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save the name and password.

How long did you hold these buttons for? Did you try more than once? Have you tried letting it charge for a bit and trying again?

My brother's ipod touch 4th generation was cracked on the screen and was not able to see anything after a while. We finally fixed it and now it says "IPOD DISABLED CONNECT TO ITUNES". We tried connecting it and itunes does not want to connect because it says that the ipod has a passcode and until we unlock it, it will do it. So we our stuck and on top of that, the ipod's power button does not work, so we waited to uncharge the ipod so we can try to connect it again and it still won't do it. We do not know what to do, and we cannot afford to buy a new one. Is there a solutiong for this? Thank You.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Don't reset anything, just connect it to iTunes. If you don't have iTunes on a computer, then find someone who does, turn off auto sync, then connect your iphone and click 'check for updates'. iTunes will download the update, then update that software to your phone. Before you update though, I'd make a backup, just to be on the safe side.

How can I access applications if the wireless mouse does NOT work?

I have a new iMac (Snow Leopard) which comes with a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. Just in case that the wireless mouse does not work, how can I navigate through applications and the screen?

Let me replicate:
Shift-Command-A (on the Desktop, (but how to get there?) to open Apps, e.g System Preferences;
Arrow keys to navigate within Apps;
Command-down arrow to open a specific app;
Arrows to move around, e.g. to Magic Mouse
Space to open Magic Mouse;
Tab to move between options and arrows to change these; and Tab back to the back icon.

How Can I best ensure data on my E71 does not get ...

My computer had a horrible hard drive meltdown and i had to buy a replacement hard drive. Outlook and much data is completely irretrievable, but some have been surgically recovered.
Concern/Fear: I will be reinstalling the Nokia PC Suite CD, then downloading and reinstalling the Updates soon. My phone (E71) has the latest data I need and want, but I am very concerned that if I synch up with the "reborn" computer, data from the E71 could get wiped out. Can that happen? What steps should I take (and in what order) in order to ensure data on my phone does not get overriden (wiped out) when I synchronize for the first time? Can that even happen?

3) Back-up all phone data into SD card or Thumb drive (?)
4) Synch laptop to phone (phone overides laptop)

How can i recover corrupt .mov files that quicktime does not recognise?

we recently 'lost' a whole day's footage by accidentally deleting it. in trying to recover these files we have used many different programs and have had odd results.... sometimes the data is recovered and shows only thumbnails but not the proper film and othertimes says tht quick time cannot open the link because it doesn't reconise the codec. these clips were filmed with a Canon SLR camera and we have searched the reformqatted sandisks as well with the same result.... quicktime does not recognize the file.
any thoughts? it would be a tragedy to lose this footage... well not really, but you know - a whole day's work!

I managed to rescue damaged AVCHD footage using photorescue. Some files were not complete, but I got them to play by trying different players like VLC, or mpeg streamclip, then exporting the clip as a new same format file. One or two were too badly damaged to rescue, but I got most back eventually.
