My iPhone 4 no longer connects properly to my car stereo.
It charges fine and I can control the iPod through the stereo controls, but the sound comes out of the phone, not the speakers. How can I fix this?

That is why you need to remove pairing from both ends and start again

My Iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta). Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working.
I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either.
When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck? I tried another Iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all.
Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.Thanks for that, when I go to delete the pairing in the phone it does not give me the option of deleting a device, it is just 'searching' under devices - like it is stuck?? I am guessing by the Head Unit you mean the car, I have deleted all phones from the car so it is completely empty.

IPhone 5s no longer works with my JVC car stereo after upgrading

I updated my iPhone 5s to ios8 last Wednesday (the 17th). When I drive, I synch my phone to my car stereo system (a JVC unit -- I can't recall the model number but it was installed just a year ago). After the upgrade, it worked fine. But on Sunday morning the phone experienced a hard crash and I had to reboot it by pressing the home and sleep buttons together. The phone came back without any further incident.
When I tried to make a call later that night I found that instead of my phone being active on my phone it tried to play music instead. I couldn't figure out how to stop this, so I turned off Blue Tooth. And now, when I try using the phone the Blue Tooth seems to synch up, but the phone cannot dial out -- I get a "called failed" message on the car stereo screen. If I look at the phone, I see that the phone has been activated, but it isn't dialing out. And then the phone will make bogus calls to an unrecognized number, or to a non-number. It will do this every 30 seconds or so. If I dial the phone manually, the Blue Tooth seems to work and I can talk to people hands free as usual. But when the call ends (and I don't always have a "call end" button showing on the JVC screen) the phone will again attempt to dial a bogus phone number.
The only thing that has changed is I upgraded my iPhone to ios8. Are there known issues around Blue Tooth connectivity? I also reset my phone to factory specs and reinstalled ios8 from my PC via the Lightning cable. This didn't change anything (I did that on Sunday evening). The Apple trouble shooting pages are of no help with this (I've already looked at them). I would really appreciate any help anyone could give me -- I think I've tried everything I know to do.
Thanks!I upgraded to ios 8.0.2 and it still won't work. The phone will synch to the JVC blue tooth, but will not dial out. The phone is activated and it has the screen that indicates it is dialing but it isn't. And then the blue connection drops and won't reconnect.

my iphone will no longer connect to my home wifi. it recognises it, but the searching cirlce is constant next to network name. there are three laptops and another iphone on the same wifi that have no connectivity issues. i have reset the network settings but that did not help. the issue started last week when the second iphone was introduced to the house, could this be the cause?

Iphone 5 no longer connects to my PC after last update OS8.1
Firstly I am not a "tech" expert and really do not understand the whole lingo etc - in fact I find it VERY overwhelming whenever I have an issue that needs to be solved with all the massive volume of technical jargon thrown around and end up being totally lost and frustrated - so if there is anyone who can help that will be just wonderful.
I have an I-phone 5 and a Toshiba PC which runs Windows 7 - easy so far.
I use my phone for a small business (otherwise I wouldn't have one at all) and when I go to do quotes I take photos and then downloaded them to my PC for future reference (I have ALWAYS been able to do this by simply plugging my phone into a free USB port (always use the same one for all devices) and away we go all works great.
HOWEVER, since the last 2 updates my Iphone will no longer connect to my PC. After the first one was botched (the one that was recalled quickly) and OS8.1 (which I know have) - whenever I do this exact same procedure my Iphone does no longer appear.
How do I make it work again - the simple, easy, straightforward way that it used to (I guess that since the Apple thing has now been "improved" and made "better and easier" for me it will be impossible to do?Hello there philp_69,

Iphone 5 no longer connects to wifi. Finds network, password correct but then ' cannot connect to network'. Connected to network till today, connects to other networks. Other iphone 5's are able to connect to this network. Please help?
I have turned the phone on and off and reset the network settings. I have also turned the wifi switch on and off.Call Apple support or take it to an Apple store for evaluation. If it is defective they will replace it.

It sounds like you're not able to sync your iPhone to iTunes wirelessly, or Bluetooth connections are not working as expected.

My iPhone 3GS no longer connects through Bluetooth to my MacBook Air nor my BMW X3. I've made no recent adjustments, it's just stopped functioning. Any ideas? Can this be fixed, or is my iPhone on the way out?
Problem solved!! I finally managed to pair the SE HCB-100 car kit speakerphone with the 3GS. I surfed the SE web site and it mentioned resetting the speakerphone. Tried it on 'one color ID' but it didn't work so I did it on all 'color IDs' and left it on reset mode when it 'accidentally' was picked up by my 3GS while searching!!! Found 'headset' and then recognised it as HCB-100. One happy guy for the holidays!!!

Consult the manual for the car kit. Put it into pairing (discoverable) mode, then go to Settings>General>Bluetooth, turn it on, and pair them.

Blackberries were designed at a time when cellular data was very expensive. They don't do nearly as much as an iPhone, in part, to conserve data use. All modern smartphones will use more data than a Blackberry unless you do almost nothing.
You do not need to quite apps. Almost no apps run in the background.
