My iPhone 4 no longer takes new entries from iCal

My iPhone syncs with my MacBook Pro in all respects except it will not sync with iCal.

I found a solution recently, (and well, this is the only apple product I own, so i didn't think to post it) basically what you do is follows
when your iphone is plugged in and you have itunes open, go to the phone page, then to the music page, select sync with library, but then select certain playlists. After that select none of the playlists (removing the music from your phone) and sync, then sync again with the playlists you want selected, and voila! Takes an hour or 2, but you can do it in the background of whatever else you are doing.

It could be that the existing wire in your appartment is not clean enough to provision DSL only. When combined with the phone possibly it has a higher line voltage and worked before. Now that the line is to be provisioned without phone service it may be giving them trouble that did not show before they came out and ran the new line test. So a new jack dedecated for your DSL line may require a new wire be run to your appartment. Also the account for internet only used to require direct billing to a credit card or something else. This was a number of years ago. Most accounts are linked to a phone number, and without a voice number it adds to the confusion.
If you are getting the voice and everything turned on as before, then I am at a loss for words.

Cannot sync anymore new entries from my Calendar in Outlook03 to my IPhone.

I cannot sync new entries from my Calendar in Outlook 2003 to my Iphone3g. It syncs my calendar up to a certain date. All new entries since a week aren't sync. The bizarre thing all changes made to my contacts & notes do sync properly. I have reinstalled ITUNES, restored my computer to January 27, Restored my IPhoneG3. Checked and rechecked the info on ITUNE. Checked Outlook03, followed the steps Apple gives to sync.
Anyone got an idea?

Thanks - got stuck with the upgrade to 10.6.8, but Apple Support was able to navigate me through that, the date settings caused a problem here.

Settings > Mail, Contact, Calendars. Scroll down to Calendars and set "Sync" as desired.

Error in creating New Entry from the Client in NW Mobile 7.1

Hi All,
I have created a mobile application for Laptops in NW Mobile 7.1.
I have a requirement to create an entry from the client, i.e., I need to create a PR in the client. The model bindind, the backend adapters, bapi wrappers are in place.
I have used the standard create BAPI for PR and wrapped it in a BAPI wrapper. I just have to give the PR details and save the entry in the client. The BAPI wrapper has the logic for generating the new PR number.
My problem here is, when I try to create a new PR, give the details and save, the entry is not getting updated in the backend and the sync state is '201'.
I checked the "Message Monitoring" in the NW Mobile Administrator for the particular SWCV.
For this create PR transaction, the particulars are as below
Message State: Error - Stop Flow
Message Type: Transaction
Error: "Error occurred while fetching synckeys from table ZDOE01700000SL"
"ZDOE01700000SL" is the Sync key look up table for PR(my data object).
Please let me know where I have gone wrong and guide me in rectifying this problem.

Hi Sunil,
From my understanding, looks like you are not filling synckey when you are creating a PR in your client. Synckey is a unique key on the DOE using which you can uniquely identify any node.
There are two scenario's atleast as I know, where this error would have come.
Case 1. If you are modifying something on client, which has been send by DOE, then you are not supposed to change synckey because it is a primary key. Now if we assume that you are not modifying synckey but when you are sending an update, check if by any chance the synckey is not going to DOE which is one case, and the second one is, after DOE has end that record to client, someone has cleaned up all the tables on DOE for that dataobject or someone has deleted that entry on the backend because of which the entry has been deleted on DOE. In either case, you are modifying something on client which is actually not present on DOE because of which when the DOE tries to look up based on synckey it doesn't find the needed record.
Case 2. If you are creating something on client, then you are supposed to create a synckey which is a 32 bit character GUID. I think in your case, you are missing the synckey when you are sending it to DOE. Check if there is any API for doing that or you have manually create a GUID and send it.

Rogue calendar entries from iCal

Let's start with the environment: using a Mac formatted 2nd generation iPod nano. Also use v2.0.4 iCal and v7.0.2 iTunes.
Here's the problem: After syncing using iTunes I have a calendar entry that shows up on the iPod starting on and repeating for every day after January 17, 2007. This entry does NOT exist in iCal. I have deleted the database from the iPod memory then resynced the iPod, but this hasn't helped. If I unselect the calendar with the bad entry from the iTunes sync screen, the rogue entries disappear from the iPod. Conversely, if I only select the calendar with the bad entry, they show up on the iPod again. So the bad entries definitely have something to do with that particular calendar in iCal. I've searched the Net but haven't been able to find a report of anything similar.
Another fun fact is that I exported the "bad" calendar from iCal then imported it under a different name. The rogue entries show up on the iPod for this "new" calendar.
Any ideas or suggestions from you smart people?

WIndows is asking you to reformat the iPod's hard disk because it's probably in the Mac OS X Extended Journaled file system format which the Windows OS can neither read or write to. Reformatting will erase all content from the device and rebuild the filesystem as FAT32 unless you specify it as NTFS (which you shouldn't do).
If you want to be able to use your iPod to copy music from your Mac to your PC, you'll need to either pre-format it as FAT32 using Disk Utility on your Mac and then copy everything over to your PC, or use third party software such as XPlay that allows a Windows PC to read and write to a Mac formatted iPod.

I have an iPhone 3gs 16g white that I bought used and therefore no longer under warranty. Last night he started to get very little phone line and even in places where before now took up the message "service unavailable" how can I fix this? Thanks in advance

The problem is not as if I insert the sim in another phone takes very well. I will try to reset and restore. Have you also had this problem or know of someone who had it and solved it this way?

I have had a 3GS for 2+ years. After upgrading to IOS 4 (now 4.3.5) I began having problems. I disconnected an email account from my iPhone 4- no longer receive the emails from that account on the phone BUT the address still appears on some outgoing emails? How can I stop that from happening?

I have not upgrade to iOS7. I've deleted an email account (gmail incase it makes a difference). The problem is that the ADDRESS still sometimes used despit the deletion. Now, one of the reasons I deleted it was that this address would "override" the address I was trying to actually send from even if I manually selected the other address. If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Help! iPhone will no longer sync my playlists from iTunes

My iTunes playlists synced to my iPhone with no problems. Today I decided to change some playlists. When I went to sync them to my iPhone, all my music disappeared and none will sync. It appears that when it gets to the music sync, it just stops. With no errors of any kind.
My contacts and videos sync with no problems.

I got the iPhone 5 last Christmas, haven't had any major problems with it, I got a MacBook pro in August, haven't had any major problems with it either. Over the past few days, I haven't been able to sync my music from my computer to my phone. I click to add the playlist or album but it doesn't transfer over. It also won't delete them. Not sure if it's a problem with my computer, phone, or cord...

I have an iPhone 6 and there are 5,059 songs on my phone but only 2,171 are actually playable, the rest are grey'd out as though they are about to sync up. When I first added them to the phone (a group of a few hundred at a time) since it glitched when I tried to add too many at once they all played fine but then a week later a weird sync notice showed up and suddenly half my library is inaccessible.

Turn off Portrait lock.
In iOS6 and earlier, double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking bar. Swipe to the right to access the music controls. Tap the button that looks like a circular arrow with a lock inside it.
In iOS7, Portrait lock is in Control Center.

Multiple entries from iCal calendar being displayed, why?

My Trainingpeaks account is synced with calendar using iCal. Recently multiple entries fro the same vent are being displayed. How do I stop this?

Probably because of iCloud since I assume you started it up on both Macbook and a mobile device.
