Dude you have a jailbroken phone as stated in your first post, no need to do a second post.

My iPhone 3GS vibrates when I put the silent switch in ring mode.
What I remember the silent switch doing is when I put it in silent mode, an indicator icon would show on the screen indicating that sound is off and the phone would also vibrate.
Now, the indicator icons are still correct (no sound in silent mode, sound in ring mode), but the vibrating is switched. It vibrates when I put it in ring mode and doesn't when I put it in silent mode.Nope, not jailbreak. On 4.3.3 firmware also.
Problem was in settings; vibrate on silent was turned off. Turned it back on and problem is fixed. -
The sounds are working on my i phone but the ringer will not work...it will only vibrate. I have the volume set at high.
Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
Have you tried ALL the troubleshooting steps? If you have and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible exchange. -

My 1-year ipod nano locked up and would not start overnight. The on/off button will not work and stopped holding charge. No water damage, no fall, nothing unusual. I restored it (twice) but it will still not hold charge and on/off does not work. I tried to restore it again and charged it in three different locations with different cables. etc but nothing. Suggestions?
- After charging for 1/2 hour or so, does iTunes see the iPod? If yes, restore the iPod from backup.

I have a late 2008 Macbook Pro, I am trying to run MW3 but it will not work without crashing a few minuets into the game. The general specs on my computer are a dual processor 2.53 ghz. 4 gb ram and a NVIDIA geforce 9400 (9600 is the alternate card).

I have been unable to update firmware on this computer for about a year now. Im not sure why.
I am running a bootleg copy of Windows XP on this computer, I would not like to spend $149 to get Windows 7 if possible.

Yes, I am connected to the Internet through my wifi. Everything is working fine with the e eption of youtube. I have reset all Internet settings and have tried synching to iTunes followed by rebooting. This is all the advice I have found although none of it has been helpful.

Do you have a friend with an Intel Mac. If your MacBook and their Mac have firewire ports you can install by Target Disk Mode. You'll need a retail version of SL to do this with any Mac other than a MacBook.
Start up your friend's Mac with your install disk. After you get to the install screen on your friend's Mac connect your MacBook to your friend's Mac in "Target Mode"with a firewire cable http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1661
Then open "Disk Utility" from the "Utilities Menu" on the Menu Bar from the install disk on your friend's Mac. You should see both your MacBook and your friend's Mac hard drives in there. Erase and partition your MacBook drive and then choose that drive when you go back to the install screen. Or install over your existing OS on your drive if you have applications you want to keep.

I have tried everything,restarting iPad, uninstalling and reinstalling Farm Heroes,uninstalling all other games, and even did a reset on my iPad. The game will not stay on. I can sign in to Facebook but if I click Play it will shut off before or right after my first move.And always starts on level 1.I wish I could undo the uplate.....

Means they are going to mess up your iPhoto Library pictures database so it's unreadable by older versions of iPhoto on older OS X operating systems.
You have the choice to right click on the iPhoto Lbrary and inside is a folder called Origianls, use the Finder to Duplicate this folder, then move the OriginalsCopy out of the iPhoto Library folder and save it elsewhere.
I dont' think Apple will every intentionally touch the originals, however it's possible they could.
