What's wrong with my phone?!
Plug it into a power source for at least 30 minutes, then try resetting it: Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.

I have an iPad 2 that is about 2 years old and is in good shape. I was trying to swipe off an app when the screen went all white. I held down the power button to shut it down but it wont do any thing but go black. When I press the power button it come back all white with no icons and no passcode pad. Does anyone know how to fix this or what it is?
ThanksTThanks for the suggestion but it turns out that you have to hold down the Home button, the Power button AND the Volume UP button at the same time for several seconds until,the Apple appears To fix the white screen of death. Found that on another help site. It works and boy an I glad. Pass it on.

Boot from your installer disc. If the problem is still present, then take it in for service.

i had the same problem a few time and what did was Hold the Sleep and Home Button for about 10 sec and it should restart . after its done restarting things should go back to normal . Good luck

I have a desktop iMac that has been running very slow lately. I turned off the power yesterday, thinking a restart may help. When I turned the power back on, the screen turned white and stayed white. Any ideas???

okay so just as i was typing this the problem resolved itself, but when i went to charge my ipod i noticed ot stayed on the black screen with the apple for a good 10 minutes, so i pressed buttons furiously (!!) and the screen went white and then back on to the screen with apple again. this contiinued for a good 4 tries then eventually went on to my lock screen (which is the very beautiful dom howard not that you know who that is and i dont even know any of you so i dont know why im typing all of this out but i really enjoy typing it's an incredibly exciting past time of mine but unfortunately i havent used capital letters) just wondering if it will happen again
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If the Reset/Reboot doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again. -
Hp envy 1105dx screen went all white
took it to get it repaired at a shop, the guy told me he received 4 screens none of them worked is it there a specific screen model i need? (laptop works with external monitor).
White screen is usually faulty LCD cable.

Help!This just happened to a person in a chat room that I was in last night. Apparently, he read somewhere that if you slide your finger across where the "slide to unlock" slider should be (on the white screen), it can fix it. He did that, and it worked. Basically, you need to unlock it without being able to see the slider.
My iPhone is the original model, but I imagine that the slider is in the same position on screen, about a half inch up from the bottom of the display. -

Connect your iPod to iTunes and reset it if it dose not work go to the genius bar at apple store and they will give you a new one if you have a protection care or warranty if you don't they will give you a new one at a cost

Problem turning the mac on, the screen's all white
Hii, so my dad's mac book pro OX S Snow Leopard isn't turning on, well it is, but it's the screen's all white and then a blue file pops out with an interrogation sing.. We don't know what to do, any ideas?
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this. -
I went into recovery mode - and keep receiving error 4005 - tried different usb, computers, did all updates possible nothing helps, my iphone screen shows apple logo and constant waiting circle
Same here. I tried to update my iPhone 5S and iPad 4 to 7.1 but iTunes wiped out them. This thing already happened for iOS 7.0.6 update. What happened to Apple? I am really curious whether Apple is aware of this problem.
