my iphone 4 was acting up like th escreen wouldnt respond to my tough or the home button

and it won't turn back on
the screen did she the apple logo like it was about to power on but then it went black and hasent done anything since

Plug it in to power for at least 15 minutes.
The, try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

my iphone wont find wifi anymore, in settings the wifi button is off and it won't turn on. tried resetting and erasing phone and it still doesn't work. ???
Follow all the steps in the article below:
http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1559
If the issue remains it would be best for you to back up your phone then book an appointment at an Apple Retail Store to be evaluated.
Hope this helps -

my iphone 5 died last night while I was sleep. I have had it on charge all day and still has not came back on. I also tried to hold the sleep/home button. Is there anyway I could get my phone back on?
Did you try to connect in recovery mode, explained in this article?
If you can't update or restore your iOS device -
My one day old MacBook pro just turned off and it won't come back on either through mains or battery power it's as if the unit is completely dead. Even with the mains plugged in there is no green or orange light to say its charging or full charged. The battery was fully charged anyway seconds before the screen went off.
When you say no green or orange light are you refering to the little led on the magsafe connector? That could mean either the charger/cable are bad or the circuitry in the MBP is faulty. Since this is a brand new MBP best bet is to take it back to an Apple Retail store and have the genius bar staff take a look. They can determine if it needs to be reparired or replaced.

i turned my ipod off, and it won't turn back on. charging doesn't work and it won't be recognised by wi-fi or usb connections. how do i fix it?
Check your cable whether it is good. If it is use the wall plug to charge at least half an hour. See how it goes.

the other day when iOS8 came out i downloaded it onto my 5th generation iPod, it has been working perfectly fine since, now today when i left it for a couple of hours, it turned itself off and now it won't turn back on. i have tried charging it but nothing is happening. it's not out of charge because the little battery usually comes up when its charging, but the screen is completely black and nothing is happening. i have tried turning it on by both buttons and it won't work. i don't know whats wrong with it. i haven't topped it or anything, so I'm assuming its the new download as it seems to be effecting other peoples devices as well. what should i do?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

screen is off and black. Won't turn on. trief charging but still won't work. its like it's dead but it was fully charged when it just turned off.
Try a reboot press & hold down power button & menu button hold both down and wait for
the Apple Logo this may take upto 20 seconds then see if iPhones comes on
if not take to Apple store.

I recently updated my iphone 4 with the 6.1 update. Ever since then my iheart radio app has been acting up. While listening words are getting cut off as well the stations just cut off playing. I have tried shutting my phone down and turning it back on but it doesn.t seem to help.
i have same problem in UK - my phone no longer works with my car cable - it will charge the phone, my ipad works fine, as does my old itouch so I know that the cable is ok. It comes up with no connection even though it is charging it. It used to be fine I dont understand why this would happen?

My iPhone is not showing that it is connected to wi-fi. My laptop is showing the wi-fi signal with a completely strong signal. I have turned the phone off & on multiple times, and have turned the wi-fi (on the phone) off & on multiple times as well, all with the same result. Help!!! Any suggestions?
Poof! It's working like normal! Thanks Lawrence! Guess I have to learn patience!

Battery was low. comp shut off and now won't turn onn
My Macbook had a low battery, I closed the cover, plugged in the AC and the light on the AC adapter won't come on. Computer won't turn on.
Sounds like alot of peeps have power issues.
Please helpHi Mark!
So to clarify the steps performed...
1. You've reset the SMC (unsuccessful)
2. You're unable to power the machine with just battery and no A/C
3. You're unable to power the machine with battery and A/C
4. You're unable to power the machine with just A/C and no battery
If all four of those above scenarios are true, then it's fairly safe to assume there's a power issue either with the inverter inside the machine or a combination of the power flow that occurs between wall - MagSafe - battery - machine.
Unfortunately, there's no way to "reset" the power adapter. You can however try a different outlet somewhere else in your current location or somewhere totally different. If you're not hooking up directly to a surge protector you could possibly have "dirty power" which can cause power issues.
What is the warranty status on your machine? Is it covered by the one-year limited? Or did you purchase AppleCare and are you within the 3-year term? This definitely sounds like it could end up in a service call. -
MY iPhone turned off and now won't turn back on
so at first it would keep showing me to slide to show down or cancel
then would keep turning the light on
the it turned off and wont turn back on
i tried (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears) and non is happening ? any ideasStandard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue. -
My ihpone turned off and it won't turn back on
i was using my ihpone and then it turned off and it cant turn back on
How low was the battery at the time it did this?
Try a Reset: Hold down the sleep and home buttons, ignore the red Off slider, wait for the Apple logo, let the buttons go. -
My iMac G5 w/iSight (A1145) randomly shut off and now won't turn back on!!
I was using it like anyother day and it just turned off. Now it wont turn back on even with switching outlets!! HELP!!
You probably have a thermal problem. Try resetting the SMU and see if that helps. Since it's an iSight you can't take it apart to check for defective caps, but you can bring it in to have a tech do it for you.
