My iphone 4 was working fine then said it had no network when tried to make a call now it wont work when try to switch on it say connect to itunes so done that then what??

Try holding the sleep/wake and home button til the phone turns off then turn it back on using the sleep/wake button. This resets the phone. If you still have trouble connecting to the netwok then try Settings>General>Reset>Reset network settings. This should clear it up. If not then try to restore your phone using itunes.

Same here. I don't know how to solve the problem, but I figured out a way to close the app without re-starting or resetting the phone. If you click ok and then press the home button twice really fast before the dialog box shows back up, you can put the phone in multi-tasking mode and close the app without having the shut the phone off or reset it. Anxiously awaiting the fix for this since I have several apps I use that I can access at the moment.

i have the iphone 3gs and ive dropped it a few times. when i press the home and lock button, it will not turn on, but when i plug it in, it says in big font IOS 6 and when i slide it open it says connect to itunes or emergency call. it wont turn on when i plug it in to my pc. tips?

I bought a 5C and it was working fine, but needed an update and had the person I bought the phone off had their iCloud still on. I asked them for the password but as he didn't know me he said he didn't trust me so I looked online and it said to force it to restore I should put it in DFU mode then plug it in to iTunes and it will restore. Now it just displays a iTunes logo (in red) and a lightning cable and arrow. Basically telling me to plug the phone into iTunes but i do and it won't restore, i try to restore it and it says error 1, 3,18 or 2006. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! What should I do?

It sounds like you are unable to see your phone in iTunes after the computer turned off unexpectedly during an iOS update. I recommend resetting the phone first, and then attempting to restore with iTunes again.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

and it gets worse.. a computer you can use when the phone is synced to a brand new download of itunes states .... needs your passcode to sync with itunes ???? help iphone states connect to itunes - itunes needs passcode to sync with itunes - iphone states connect to itunes becuase ... passcode is locked out ..

If it keeps coming up with an unknown error - no error code given - try another computer. If that doesn't work, it's time to take it to an Apple Store or an authorized service center to have the device evaluated.

My boyfriend and I share an iTunes account. I just tried to update his phone and during the update an error message occurred saying that his phone had to be reset to factory settings. It said it was an un setup phone and needed plugged in to iTunes. With no other choice, we had to select reset to factory settings. Now, my phone backup through iCloud downloaded onto his and all of his contacts and photos were overridden by mine. His photos were in process of transferring from the phone to the pc while this occurred and over 900 of them were complete when this happened. They don't show up on the pc now either since the sycn wasn't finished. Is there a way to get them back? When we plug his phone in now it shows my name instead of his so I'm not sure how to get to an old version of his backups even.
Error -1 indicates a hardware issue with the device.

I've had my phone for almost 2 years now (my contract is over next month). I was getting a call answered it and after I said goodbye I tried ending the call and the screen was just black. I waited a few minutes tried pressing the home button nothing,tried reseting it and again nothing its currently on the charger and I'm just going to give it a litttle time before trying to reset again.
