My iphone 4 which is never jailbroken cannot be updated to 4.3.5
I cannot update my iphone iOS from 4.3.4 to 4.3.5
When I clicked Update in itune, it failed and showed "There was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone. An unknown error occurred (-23)."
Is there anyone having the same problem or having the solution to figure it out?

Same problem here. When it says I should try to *only download* and then manually install.
Then I set *only download* and even though I have a good speed connection, it says it will
take about 100 hours to download!

How do I get my contacts back after upgrade?
The "system" performed as designed. All devices syncing to one iCloud account are kept in common sync. The idea is that all such devices belong to one user. Different users should have different iCloud accounts. Once your contacts were edited, all devices were updated as well and subsequent backups (from yours and her device) reflected the changed contacts (and any other data that may have been edited like calendars). Your first task is to change your daughter over to a new account before she makes other changes.
The only way I see for getting back contacts is to restore them from a time machine backup, assuming you also have a Mac included in the account which syncs the contacts. However, I'm not sure whether time machine includes contacts from iCloud along with those that are local, "on my Mac".
Otherwise the deleted contacts are gone. -

Let me first say that I have No problem with accessing my iphone using my passcode!
1. I am having a problem purchasing app's with my new iphone 5s. I recently upgraded from the 3Gs to th 5s and now along with asking me to give my user password, but then it is asking me to continue and then varify my pay account info with a security code which was not required on my last phone and have know idea how get one or reset the old one (which I never had)?
2. My new iphone 5s is asking me for a voicemail passcode. I have not set up a voice mail and entered an initial ID, what should I do?2. you can reset the passcode by contacting your phone carrier. usually means you have a voicemail.

I dropped my Iphone 5 which resulted in it shattering and the screen was still on but it was black with only a white line through it so I couldnt access the phone however I switched over to my Droid and now I cannot send or receive messages and I cant turn off imessage because I cant see anything on the screen. Help?
Then the bottom of the support document states that if you do not have access to the device (which unfortunately because of the screen issue you do not) to contact Apple Care. That is what you need to do.

Try this. turn it off > hold power and home button uuntil it says connect to itunes with the connect picture on it > then connect it to itunes > its gunna say you need to restore the iphone. download the software. hope it helps.

I tried upgrading to leopard, even bought the software and brought it home but it wouldn't let me. So i went back to apple, gave them the specifications of the machine and been told my machine is simply too old for leopard. This is incredible to me because it really isn't THAT old (i think just a little over 6 years maybe) and yet i'm left out on the curb when it comes to using newer apple products. I understand technology moves on but the mindset that i am supposed to dump a perfectly working machine after a couple of years or face not being able to use any other apple product is counter to what thought apple was about. -

The UAE and several other mostly Middle Eastern Countries ban FaceTime. Because of this all devices manufactured for sale in those countries does not have FaceTime and FaceTime cannot be installed on those devices.

I have a new iPhone 4 which I cannot sync until I upgrade to the latest version of iTunes software (version 10.2.2). Upon trying to upgrade, I keep receiving a message which states, "The URL could not be opened." Anyone else had the same problem & does anyone have a solution? Check to make sure cellular data is not disabled in settings. If it's on, try re-setting the phone. If that doesn't fix it, call AT&T.
