AHA!!! I had the same problem with no answer so I started doing some research. Apparently people with McAfee and Norton were having similar problems so I started there. I opened my McAfee and went into the Web and Email Protection. Click on Firewalls; click on Program Permissions. Scroll down to find Firefox. If you're having the same problem I did, it will say blocked. Change to allow. That should solve it!! I wonder if MS paid McAfee!!?? Hope it helps!

settings - message - imessage - is turned ON? Do you have it activated?
Make sure you have a good wifi or cellular data connection.
Also you can only imessage other apple products who have imessage on.

Here's a screenshot... it attempts to pull form iCloud but fails... so then moves to the next song after a couple seconds.. other songs that are failing do same.

My iPhone 4 will not update to the latest iPhone Software.

I plug my phone into my computer and checked it for updates and there was one available for the latest iPhone Software. It will begin downloading and take about 15-20 minutes to complete the downloading but once it gets to the end where it begins to install, it says there is a connection error. I know there isn't a connection error and my computer is clearly connected to the internet so I don't know what to do. I have tried this three or four times and get the same problems each time. The only thing I know to do is to go out and buy a different phone and get rid of my iPhone....Help please since I happen to be the typical broke college student and buying a phone outright isn't the best option right now.

This is a common error. A search of google or the forums would have revealed the answer in less time than it took to register and post.
Temporarily disable any Anti-Virus or Firewall software on the computer, run the update, then re-enable the software.

HT3258 The scanner on my Canon inkjet printer MG6200 series will not work with Mountain Lion. How can I fix this?

The MP Navigator software in my scanner cannot be opened since I installed Mountain Lion. Canon say they don't have a way of fixing this, so is there a solution out there I wonder?

I have the MG6250 and MP Navigator v5.0.2 is working on my 10.8.2 Mac, so I don't know why the Canon support is telling you that it cannot be fixed.
To use MP Navigator you must have the full scanner driver installed. And when it is installed you then need to configure MP Navigator to use the networked MG62xx.
Also ensure you are using the latest version of MP Navigator. Try trashing the one you currently have in Applications > Canon Utilities and then installing this latest version.

Certain websites will load eg. Facebook, Google, etc. but others, eg. YouTube will not open. Why? And how can I fix this?

Firstly, I downloaded the latest edition of Firefox. It then crashed several times in a row. This is when certain websites stopped responding and refused to open. I don't know what the criteria are for which websites open and which do not as I have no problems with sites such as Facebook, Google, etc. yet sites such as Youtube won't open.
Also, If I search for something on Google, once it returns results, I cannot open certain websites from the links given to me by Google.
Eg. if I search Google for Musicnotes.com, I can click the link and the page will open. But if I search for my university website, the page won't open.
When I closed Firefox and went to reopen it, all I got was the "send error report" screen several times over. If I clicked "Close" or "Restart" Firefox, nothing would happen, it just returned me to the "send error report" screen. I then restarted Firefox in safemode as well as restarting it without add-ons. But I am having the same problems with opening websites.
What can I do?

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

IMovie will not open after ram upgrade. How can I fix this?

I updated the ram on my computer by myself from 2gb to 4gb. Everything seemed to work fine, yet when I go to open imovie, it will not open after endlessly bouncing on my dock. I have verified disk permissions. Repaired disk Permissions. Tried replacing iMovie with the iMovie backup from my time machine. Cleared the system cache. Tried reinstalling it using the ilife 11 disk. Tried installing the previous ilife 09 version. Reinstalled snow leopard and did a time machine back up. Placed the old ram back in the computer. All this things done with no success.
DOES SOMEBODY HAVE ANY IDEA ON WHAT I COULD DO?

My first two thoughts
• Faulty RAM - There are programs that can test this as Tech-tools (buy or in Apple Care pac)
• Wrongly inserted RAM - Can be tricky and sometime not obvious - everything's looks OK but in certain situations it just randomly don't work.
Take out the new RAM and try Your Mac without it to see that it's still OK to start with and then very carefully re-install RAM and now be very careful to see that it snaps in exactly as it's intended to.

Installed 5.0 on my Windows PC and it will not access websites. I reconfigured the firewall and it did not help. I can go to a website but it will not allow me to login. How can I fix this?

I updated to 5.0, added webmail adblocker and adblocker, and it would not work at all. I uninstalled, and reinstalled without the addons and it still did not work. Troubleshooting said to remove from firewall settings and re-add, which I did, but Norton Security Suite will only do "allow" and not "Auto". I can now access a page to a website, but can't log in (ie: yahoo mail, facebook, etc.)

I have clicked on the connect button, but it brings up the same There is a problem connecting, and I have also tried SMB://
i tried pinging the ip address with in termial and it times out.
From my windows PC and I can access my MacBook Air just fine,
