My Iphone 4 won't charge. I began noticing it yesterday but I ignored it. Now the phone is dead. I've had it plugged up to my computer all day and it says that it is charging but hasn't cut on yet. I've used many different chargers and none of them work.

If the same when using the included power adaptor, there may be a hardware problem with the battery. Make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

Download it to iTunes on your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519), then sync it to your phone. Make sure the album is selected to sync to your phone before syncing. If that doesn't work, you may have to delete all the music off your phone, then sync it back from iTunes. To delete your music, go to Settings>General>Usage, wait for the apps list to open, then click Music, tap Edit, then tap next to All Music.

It is currently plugged in but the charger light is off. its like that for the 3 different chargers i tried from friends

I just backed up my phone in iTunes and then did a restore and at the end of the restore I got a popup that said an unknown error has occurred and now my phone is dead. Shows a pic of USB with arrow to iTunes... iTunes says phone in recovery mode

Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode
NOTE: Make sure the device screen is blank and no logos are present

I have bought a Idjay system and I have the App on the 4S phone however the phone is not aknowledging the system. After googling we found that their is an issue with IOS7 for this system. So we tried an Itouch, its on IOS6 but doesnt work. Then tried an Ipad but the first version. Thought we had success when the Ipad seen the system connect to it. However I then went to download the App onto the Ipad but it needs IOS6 onwards and as its the first model of the Ipad the latest version is 5.1.1 so I cant download the App...
Any suggestions? do you know how to get the 4S phone to work with it as that would be the ideal scenario?

So the lock button on my iPhone 4 is broken, 100%, and the battery died earlier today, when I plug it in, it usually turns on if it has been dead...I tried doing this for hours and nothing happened, I plugged it into 3 different chargers thinking that might be the problem. And since there isn't a apple store close to me, I went to AT&T and they told me I need to do some type of restart (I forget what it's called) it is where you hold down the home and lock button at the same time, but as you can see that wont work since my lock button Is broken. Is there ANYTHING else I can do to fix it!?

Unable to open firefox, tried to uninstall to reinstall and it says that firefox is open but when i check there are no apps open how do I fix this? I had to go onto internet expluerer to get here

I have not been able to get onto the internet using firefox. when I click on it it goes through the motions but nothing happens. I had to use internet explorurer to go to the net. I tried to uninstall firefox to reinstall it thinking there was a problem and it tells me that I have one or more apps on firefox open when I go to cntl/alt/delete is shows me nothing is open. I can not uninstall firefox. it is not my computer since I am using internet eplr. right now. How can I solve this I like firefox and want to continue using it but this is a problem.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I have downloaded an app, and it says that it's downloaded, but it is not on my pages at all. How can I find it?

When I tried to download it again, it said open where it usually would say free. And when I clicked open, nothing would happen. How do I get it back?

I am trying to backup my wife's phone on icloud. But whenever i do, the process begins and then about 5 mins later it stops and it says it was incomplete. I tried leaving it to back up overnight, using a different wifi, etc but no luck. Help!

Here is more info - she has the iphone 4 16GB. we purchased the additional space on icloud, so there is more than enough room for her to back up her 8.5 GB on the 15GB of space. It is up to date for the iOS. I have the same phone and have no problems with mine. i have tried turning it off, etc.

Try deleting your last backup by turning off iCloud Backup in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, then tap Manage Storage, swipe across your backup and tap Delete, then go back and turn iCloud Backup back on again. If it still won't back up, you may have an app that is preventing the backup from succeeding. To locate which one, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, under Backup Options tap Show All Apps, then turn them all to Off (including camera roll) and try backing up again. If it succeeds, then the camera roll and/or one of your apps is preventing the backup and you'll have to located by process of elimination. Turn the camera roll On and try backing up again. If it succeeds, turn some of your apps to On and try backing up again. If it succeeds again, turn some more apps to On then try again; repeat this process until it fails. Eventually you'll be able to locate the problem app and exclude it from your backup.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

You need to use a newer Mac OS X version. A G4 can be upgraded to 10.5.8(if desired, buy a retail DVD from a source such as Amazon or eBay), but you'll likely find it more cost-effective to buy a secondhand Intel Mac.

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).
Once you are using the "Firefox" button ...
Use the "Alt" key to view the menu bar (temporarily) containing File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. On Windows 7 and Vista, the menu bar was hidden by default in Firefox 4 and above. These menu items are more or less available under the "Firefox" button which has the most used of the built-in Firefox menu items available in a different format.
To get back to having menus again. "Firefox" button -> Options (second column) -> (check) Menu Bar
