My iPhone 4 won't let me download apps or sign into iTunes from the app

Everytime I try and download an app I type in my password and nothing happens. If I click it again then it asks for my password again then retupe and have the same problem. It's the same when trying to log into iTunes from the app and the same when I try updating an app, If I type the password wrong then it tells me it's wrong. I've tried resetting the phone bye holding the two buttons for ten seconds but no joy? Oh and for some reason podcasts have dissapeared from my phone completely?

Do you have any restrictions set?
i.e. Settings > General > Restrictions > (Allowed Content) Apps > 4+

My iPhone won't let me download or update any apps, just keeps going to my account pages, asks me to put in my card details then says there's a problem or it's declined even when I try to download or update free apps, I have had the day Apple ID and card details since I brought phone????? Have spoken to Apple they don't help!!

What sort of card is it, debit or credit ? If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts about them being declined.
If it's a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support again : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management

What version of iPhoto? Of the OS? what has changed since it worked? How are you trying to open it (clicking on the icon in the Dock, double clicking on the application in the applications folder, ???)?
Anything else you can tell a total stranger who can not see you or your computer to let them assist you?

Try Amazon but look for the iWork suite of software. It's only sold separately as Pages, Keynote, and Numbers from the App Store.

Not unless the developer/Apple offer it again in the App store. You can only get apps from the App store.

I am unable to download apps from the App Store because it asks me to enable 'Accept Cookies' in the Safari section in the Settings App. However, I am unable to do so because there is no option to accept cookies in the Settings App. I have recently updated my iPhone to iOS 7. Maybe there is another way to do it, but I do not know how. Does anyone have a solution to my problem?

I plugged my Iphone 4S into my computer to update it via Itunes and now it says I have to restore to factory settings and will lose all of my contacts, photos, and applications I have downloaded. All I was really wanted to do was delete photos that uploaded from my home computer and took up all the space on my phone! GRRRR I hate this

If you are using the iphone as designed then you should lose very little or nothing.
You should be syncing contacts with your computer regularly, so all of your contacts should be on your computer and you can sync them back.
You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera, most especially before any attempt to update.
You should be transferring all purchases made on your iphone to your computer: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

I was purchasing an in app purchase and that app froze after purchasing and signed me out of itunes now i cant sign back in on my phone the sign in box comes up but closes after about 5 sexonds without fail every time i have tried and tried and tried. I've got the same problem right now. I have an old Apple ID that my whole family was using (of course that one works fine) but I want to sign in with my personal iCloud ID and it does the same thing that you described. Any answers?
Note: doesnt work in iTunes or the App Store from my Macbook Pro or my iPhone, but does work when I sign in to the Apple ID page in my browser.

Got this promo em after putting iPad on account. Read all the advice, tried DNS 8.8.8.8 and changing time to late date. Found tha if you delete the apps waiting to be updated from the home page with the hold and wiggle method the apps to be updated will go. After that come out and log in. I had to redo my credit card details butl works ok now. I only had 1 paid for app £0.69 for update before but you will loose your paid for the apps for update that you have deleted. SP6

You need to restore the iPod on the new computer. You can only sync apps (and some other stuff) from different computers/libraries but you can manage music and some other stuff among different computers/libraries.
You need to restore you iPod and see the following regarding the pairing error message.

Why can't I download an older version of Pages from the App Store?

Is there any way to download an older version of Pages? Specifically, version 4.2?
Upgrading my OS from 10.6.8 is not an option, and I live overseas in a place where I'm completely unable to recieve disks for older iWorks through the mail. This is frustrating... the App should either be compatible or alternatively should keep older versions available, if not on the app store then on the website somewhere. I'm willing to pay Apple for an older version, but have yet to figure out how that's even an option.
Would love to know if there's a way to get Pages 4.2 that I've missed. Thanks

Google "Apple iWork '09 Installer".
Apple seems to have pulled the plug on the manual updaters so you may have to Google those as well.

After downloading and installing YOSEMITE (10.10) from the App Store none of my Browsers are working properly: SAFARI, CHROME and FIREFOX. You have to FORCE QUIT.

iMac 21.5 inch 2010 model year. 3.06 GHz, 8GB RAM running Latest YOSEMITE 10.10 dowloaded and installed from App Store about 24 hours ago (Mon-27thOct)
I have ADMINISTRATOR rights but my son's account does not and he has worse problems after upgrading to YOSEMITE. FIREFOX Version is 23.0.1
CHROME version is 38.0.2125.111
Occasionally after dozens of attempts you may start loading a page but it is painfully slow.

If it is a problem with all of the browsers then it suggests that it is caused by an incompatible internet plugin (which is affecting all of them).
I would try a safe boot (restart and hold down the shift key until you see the apple logo). A safe boot does some diagnostic things and cleans some caches; it can take longer than a regular boot so be patient. If your browsers work better in a safe boot, that suggests that the problem is from some incompatible third party software (like an internet plugin) that you have installed. Then it becomes a trial and error process to find the culprit and uninstall it. A safe boot is a diagnostic maneuver; it usually won't fix things but it can help figure out where the problem is.
Why don't you try the safe boot and then report back.
I would not use chrome, BTW. Google has a talent for creating apps that don't play well with Macs.
Also: have you used any "maintenance" or "cleaning" utilities like CleanMyMac or MacKeeper?

I need to reset my Apple ID on my ipad. My internet provider was bought by another company, so my user name changed. So now, when I go into itunes or the app store, I cannot update anything because it asks for my password, but not my apple id.

My internet provider changed, so my username changed. I need to be able to reset my appleid NOT my password. I can't find a way to do this. Here is a scenario. I want to go into the app store to update apps, so a box pops up asking for my password, but shows my appleid as the old name. I have reset the appleid on my mac and itunes at home and works there, but when I try to go into things on the ipad, it automatically comes up with a window asking for my password, but for my old id name. I went to the manage your id section, but it won't let me in because it wants the password to the old name. So I think I need to reregister the ipad with my new userid. Icloud, Itunes, app store, everything like that won't let me in because they still show the user id as the old name.

On the iPad - go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap on your old ID and sign out. Then sign in with your changed/new ID.
