My iphone 4 wont charge or turn on!! help please!!

my Iphone 4 had 90% battery and i went to bed and it was on charge i got up in the morning and it wouldnt charge and it wouldnt turn on.. what should i do??

Take it to a store or call AppleCare. If you've only had it a month and haven't flushed it down your toilet it's still under warranty.

my iphone 5 wont charge I tried everything to turn it back on. It was working one minute but then I went to go use it and it wouldn't turn on, 10 hours later and it STILL won't turn on. It was fully charged, but I charged it some more just in case - didn't work. Then, I plugged it into my computer while holding the home button down in order to update/restore it. It updated but never restored, and after that it STILLLLL won't turn on. I then tried holding the home and lock button down together for a few minutes in order to restart it, yet it still won't turn on. It is getting extremely frustrating at this point. I googled any other solutions to this problem, but all of the solutions I've basically already tried, and ended up never working.
Help, please?!

Ipod has been a little funny latley and not charging every time but now it wont charge at wall or comp with 2 different leads. Put it into sleep mode to try and now it on turn on either. It just displays batery flashing red with connect to charger sign also itunes doesnt find it on the computer please help

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

ok for some reason I just got home and plugged in the wall adaptor and the cable and thought it was the cable so I switched the cable and then plugged it in the adaptor and it didnt work and now I plugged it into the comp and now its not charging that way either, PLEASE HELP!

try resetting the iPhone with the home button and sleep/wake button until you get the apple logo. If this doesnt try charging through another computer if you havent already. also try different usb ports after restarting the computer.
If none of these work I would call Apple or take to a local Apple Store.

If the device battery has been depleated to the point there is no charge in the device - it MAY take some time before you get an indication that the device is charging. Please charge the device into a know good charging system ie... good USB cord and charging adapter. Leave it there for a period of 2-3 hours to see if the charging indicator does not show up on the front of the devices screen.

i upgraded to iOS 6.1.3 and after that my ipod started having trouble charging, at first i though the lightning cable was the problem so i bought 2 more lightning cable chargers and my ipod still would'nt charge, so it died. now the only thing my ipod does is when i try to turn it on it shows the apple logo and then the screen goes off and does it again for a few times and then the screen stays off and my ipod gets really hot but wont turn on for the rest of the day help!!

Hi When you change your iPad, even if its off it will, turn on when you connect, to charger Check lightining port for any bits. Do a Reboot press &hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo This may help. Cheers Brian

Most likely a hardware problem, which it may be possible to fix. Get a magnifier and look in the dock connector on the bottom of the phone. If there is dirt or moisture in it clean it with a dry toothbrush. If a pin is bent try to straighten it. Also try a different cable. If all of these fail the phone is broken.

Apple does not repair devices at all.
As stated, you can elect to find a local repair shop to do the work, but understand that Apple does not sell parts either.
Alternatively, you can choose to do an Out of Warranty replacement via Apple and get a 90 day warranty on the replacement device.
Another option would be to replace the device with a more current model.

Try resetting the SMC > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964 If it doesn't work, you have a hardware problem, so you have to take your computer to an Apple Store or reseller to get it diagnosed and repaired

How are you charging the device? Are you using the Apple brand provided charger & cable? Are you connecting it to a USB port on a computer or directly to a power outlet? How long are you leaving the device to sit an charge?
