My iphone 4 wont come on i attempt to do a restore on itunes but it says error 4005

my iphone was working fine, then half an hour later my screen is black and it wont switch on,
i have tried all suggestions such as hold down power and home button for 10-30 seconds, charging doesnt help, it was fully charged,
i tried holding both down then plugging into computer loading itunes and letting go of power button
and only holding home button, it starts to restore then says error 4005 cannot be completed or something,
help !

If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.
If you checked your connections and are still seeing the error message, check for hardware issues.

Was the computer used to jailbreak a different iOS device? Are you trying to forcibly install a version of iOS other than the current version for your device? (4.2.1 for the 3G, 6.0.1 for the 4 and 4S, 6.0.2 for the 5).
Those are the only other reasons you would get that error other than an extremely rare hardware failure.

i purchased this phone off ebay and when i tried to turn it on it showed a apple for a few seconds and then blank screen i was told to try going to i tunes hold the home button and then connect to the computer i did that then it shows conecting to itunes but it never does and itune doesnt see it in devices i dont know a thing about these phones but i am starting to think im screwed and should never have bought it any sugestions? the person i got it from is no longer on ebay .....go figure

Sounds like a damaged device.
Report it to ebay as a fraudulent transaction, UNLESS they clearly stated in the auction that it was a damaged device.

I have Iphone4 brought from at&t USA(carrier locked) and i am in india now, i contacted at&t and requested for an unlock for me to use with indian carriers.
I got an email confirming the unlock has been completed from at&t and asked me to connect the device to itunes and do a back&restore, after the restore process i get an error message on itunes "your request cannot be processed, please try again after sometime" i tried it with my airtel sim card and also at&t sim card but did not work. I contacted at&t and they confirmed that the unlock request was successful but i still get the same error.

Excuse me. I am on a contract with O2 with an iphone 4s, suddenly xmas day it said "no service", took it to o2 who sent it to apple factory who refused to repair it because a screw missing. I wouldnt know have never opened phone in my life,wouldnt know how to, then went direct to Apple Regent St London who also said "screw missing, warrenty void, then produced a phone just out of contract due to upgrade,a vodaphone carrier 3gs, it was unlocked but then told by apple the owner had to go to vodaphone and get it unlocked on their books which could take up to 48 hours, it is now 72 hours later and i have the same error despite backing up old phone with i tunes and i cloud,am very angry and am paying alot for a contract every month, all i can see is "no service and waiting for activation" and all ths started when I upgraded to IOS 6.Am extremely upset and still under warranty but no one seems to want to help me to connect to WiFI, i cannot keep going to Apple Regent Street at lunchtime and be shooed of with excuses, this replacement phone 3gs should work and it doesnt. Have you jailbroken this device? This will make the iPhone not talk to the Software Update Server (that signs and accepts software updates) please refer to the following link? Error 3194, Error 17, or "This device isn't eligible for the requested build"
The iPhone will talk to the software update servers, just need to change the host files, it's a simple process, sorry if you were confused about the wording in to top?

try moisturising your finger a bit if the skin is too dry it can give problems

Just let the battery drain until the screen shuts off. When you charge it back up it should boot up normally.

You say "It won't let me download iTunes ...". I cannot imagine what you mean. What does "It" mean?
iTunes is a part of iOS on your iPhone. If your iPhone can turn on, iTunes is already there. You cannot separately download iTunes to iPhone; you would have to update iOS to get a fresh copy.

What computer operating system is involved in the Premiere Elements 11 and 13 issues? Same computer or different ones? Are you installing from purchased download installation files or from purchased installation disc? Does Premiere Elements 11 work completely on this computer whereas 13 will not?
Let us go through the typical drill so as to take nothing for granted.
1. Does the problem exist with or without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled? Are you working with an individual home computer or in a
school or company network?
2. Are you running the program as Administrator and is there any "domain" account involved?
3. Is your video card/graphics card up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?
4. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on the computer with Premiere Elements?
Let us start by ruling in or out any of the above, and then we can decide what next.
