IPhone 3Gs Turn OFF suddenly and Critical
Hello everybody,
How may you assist me about my iPhone 3Gs.
My iPhone suddenly turn off while the battery is recharged full condition.
it's turn off suddenly without nothing and i tried to turn on (hold on the power button) but doesn't work. As long was turn off the body of iPhone became hot the temperature i afraid to be exploding like a boom because temperature almost 40 C.
i bought it new from legal provider mobile since february 2010. yes warranty but how's happen?
Thank you for helping and thread this message. That just happened to me today. I found the solution in the discussions....
Press the sleep button (aka power button) and the home button for 5-15 seconds (it took mine 12 seconds). The Apple logo appeared...took about one or two full minutes to boot up, and then my home screen appeared as usual. No data loss at all.
The post where I read this said to ignore the slider that comes up after you press the sleep and home buttons. However, when I did it, no slider appeared. -
My iPhone 3GS turned off suddenly
My iPhone 3GS turned off suddenly and when i switched it on it give me that there is no battery then when i charge it i fined that the battery between 60% to 30% i have tried to restore it but the same problem came out
i bought my iPhone 3GS since Apr 2010This sounds like the same problem i'm having. I have to upgrade my os to most current. Really don't want to do a restore. I've read another post from someone who's problem seemed the same as mine and it was actually the battery. After having battery replaced, it worked fine. Whatever the problem actually is, I hope it won't cost a lot to fix.

Iphone 4 turns off randomly and won't turn back on unless it's plugged in
Iphone 4 turns off randomly and won't turn back on unless it's plugged in.
Has anyone had this problem?
If I leave the phone (thus not doing anything to it) for an extended period of time say 2 hrs. It will have turned off and you can't turn it back on unless you plug it in, but it's got heaps of "Battery" left.
Ever so often it will turn off randomly as well, and can't turn it on again. If your iPhone is powering off, this is not normal.
Try restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup. If no change after doing so, your iPhone has a hardware problem. The iPhone includes a one year warranty. -

My iPhone 5 went off suddenly and did not became on
Is the battery on the phone completely drained? Is so it may take some time after it is connected to the charger before it responds. Plug the phone into the charger that came with it and plug the charger into a good wall outlet. Wait at least 15 minutes. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the phone restarts let it continue to charge until the battery is at 100%. If the phone does not start Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

Hey Tiffy6996!

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.

My iPhone 4 turns off suddenly. is this a battery problem or what?
I have an iPhone 4 that is 4-5 months old. It has recently started to turn off all of a sudden.
I can turn it on but then it does still keep doing it. I had iOS 5.1 installed. Since this problem,
I have in fact reinstalled it once again but to no avail. I am not sure that this is a software
glitch. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? What should I do?
Thanks in advance for all the help you can give...
Best,Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
If you've been through ALL of these steps and you still have problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation. -
My iPhone 4 is running iOS 4.3.4 and it suddenly turns off randomly, usually when the batery is around 85% or so. When I try to turn it on the normal way or hard resetting it, it doesn't turn on. It only turns on when its connected to a charger, and the time and date resets to 7.30am, January 1st 1970. I have no idea why is this happening and how do I resolve this issue? I really don't want to go get it replaced as its too much of a hassle and Im leaving to another country in 2 days time..
It also starts charging at 70% or so when it turns on..

My iPhone 5s turns off randomly and won't turn back on
Yesterday my iphone just shut off randomly even after being charged at 100%. I gave it a hard reset three times and it finally turned back on. But today it blanked out again and every time I try to turn it on the apple icon pops up but then disappears. The screen goes black and nothing happens. I've tried the hard reset and that doesn't work, I've even tried holding down all four buttons and it still doesn't work.

IPhone 4 turns off randomly and refused to turn on until 10 mins or so...
My iPhone 4 originally AT&T smart phone, is what I use on T-mobile as of right now. I have had it for just about two years now and I think it's coming to its last few days. It turns off randomly throughout the day and does not turn on right away when I push either other of the button (simultaneously or one at a time), until about 5-10+ minutes or so. It is very frustrating and I really do love apple products but I don't know, something is telling me to switch to android unless a miracle happens.
