I just need to be able to download apps and my phone keeps saying the security code is invalid which doesnt make sense because I enter everything correct and it's really fustrating I've been to the apple store I've called support and they can't seem to fix it! Can somebody please help me? I thought apple was suposta be easy to use :\
This can sometimes happen because there is a missmatch between the billing address entered on your iTunes account and the billing address from your bank records. See http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646.

I figured out what was going on the app had miss represented how much space it would take it had said it was 1.2g's however it was really 1.9g's which was all I had left on the phone I downloaded it to my computer first from the apps store then was able to see this. At that point I was able to rearrange some memory to accomadate it's size thanx for the help.

My iPhone 4s didn't do it until the latest update so imnpretty sure it's on the apple server some sort of bug maybe? Not sure. But whatever it is I really would like to download apps. It won't let me download any apps and my phone is brand new.

It appears that there is something incorrect with your billing information. You need to correct it. For a standard account you need a valid payment method even for free apps. You can however create a new account that is only good for apps by:

Where are you physically located?
What country's Store are you using?
The two have to be the same and the payment method for your account also has to be associated (billing address, where iTunes gift card was purchased) with that country.
Has the ID(s) worked before for purchases for this country's store? -

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

I'm so frustrated and in desperate need of help, I don't know what else to do! Certain apps such as Tumblr (I've previously had the Tumblr app on my phone) and Vine will NOT dowload on my phone. I've tried deleting all apps from both my iPhone and iTunes, I've tried restoring my phone then backing it up, I've tried downloading the app from iTunes while my phone is plugged into my computer, etc. When I search the apps in the app store they show up but the 'FREE' button is white and unclickable, it's very frustrating. When I download it from iTunes while my phone is plugged in I can watch it download, but when it's done it immediately dissapears from the screen and from my phone. When I plug my phone into iTunes it say I have the Tumblr and Vine apps, but I assure you, I do not. I have deleted and tried to add them so many times but it never works. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!
Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

I am trying to download FREE apps but I can't download any without billing information. Showing up and saying there was a problem with a recent purchase and when I put credit card details it is saying its declined, help? I can't download no apps until this is fixed?

From time to time, especially if you change something in your iTunes store or account, it will ask you to confirm your account details. Sometimes it’s only the last 3 digits of your security code on your CC. It’s part of a security step taken by Apple.

Ipod does not power up unless plugged in
My ipod touch does not power up unless plugged in or connected to the computer. It is fully charged and when I unplug from the power outlet or computer it will stay on for a minute and then turn off again. It only shows the apple icon when I try to
