My iphone 4s and ipad 4 won'y automatically start Itunes since I upgraded to ios 7.0.6

itunes will start manually but it doesn't show that my iphone and ipad as devices. Any suggestions?

The error means that your antivirus or firewall is blocking the update process.

How do I setup my iphone 5 and iPad 2 to automatically back up to my time capsule?

I have just finished setting up my Time Capsule and my Mac is backing up as I am typing. I would love for my iphone and my ipad to back up to the time capsule as well, since my icloud space if full. :-(
I have tried connecting the time capsule network on my iphone, it worked, but I could not find anywhere where I should tell it to backup to the TC.
I would of course love for my husbands Windows PC to backup to the TC as well. So if that is possible please let me know.
And before I go, I have connected the my TC a external harddrive and I would love to know where to find that. I would like to use the files on there on my MAC, and back up that drive as well to the TC.

They cannot.. they are designed to backup to your local itunes which will then be backed up via TM to TC.

Yes that is possible.. you just need a backup sofware that works to network drives. Most do except MSBackuip on the home editions.
Mixing backups can have effects.. please read up in Pondini the ins and outs of TC. And TM.

Do you mean the external hard disk is plugged into the TC.. it can be read if you can see it in the airport utility.. if not it is in the wrong format.. it must be fat32 or HFS+. Otherwise it will show up in finder if you look under shared.

The iphone app for family locator is glitchy/non-operational since the upgrade to ios 8 on my iphone 5s. I can still access the program but must go through my verizon account app. When is there going to be an update of the family locator app?

It sounds like your Mail app is just closing on you when you try and read your email no matter what you do. I would start by quitting the Mail app outright:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

From this Sunday afternoon one of my two e-mail addresses/ accounts, on both my iphone 6 and ipad, won't download e-mails. Things were fine from when I bought the phone at Christmas to Sunday afternoon. The download spins as though accessing the internet but Updated Yesterday appears (was last updated 13:51 25th Jan 15).
I have no idea what is causing this have deleted the account and re-entered it. The other e-mail account works fine on both iphone and ipad.
Urgent as run own business and can't access e-mails except through internet connection.
Can anybody help or does anybody else have same problem please?

I'm a happy owner of MacBook Pro now.
But I stuck with a problem of transfering my music, playliss, photos, apps and books from my iOS devises (iPhone, iPod and iPad).
I know that iTunes desined to avoid of syncing one devise with two or more computers to keep the copyrights. But I have many media I didn't purchased on iTunes, I had it from my CDs and DVDs. But I've got quite a situation that my old PC broke down and erased all its data. So I can't just sync my old laptop with the new one. So, how to copy files from my iOS devices to my Mac?

If you copied your iTunes library from your Mac to your PC per the instructions included with this link, any music that was purchased from the iTunes store with your iPhone was in your iTunes library on your Mac before being transferred to your PC and the same for any 3rd party apps downloaded/installed direct with your iPhone, and you have authorized the PC with your iTunes account with iTunes, no iTunes content on your iPhone should be erased with the first sync with iTunes on your PC.

Not sure how restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup lost everything on your iPhone - with your iPhone being completely erased of all data unless there was a major problem with your iPhone's backup. No iTunes content on your iPhone is included with your iPhone's backup, and no photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone are included with your iPhone's backup. All iTunes content on your iPhone - all music, movies, tv shows, and 3rd party apps should be in your iTunes library on your computer, and all photos transferred from your computer should remain on your computer.

With Windows, you can sync your MobileMe contacts and calendar events with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010. Do you have Outlook available on your PC and if so, have you downloaded the Windows MobileMe Control Panel to set up syncing Outlook with your MobileMe online calendar and address book?

It has been shown there are problems with the latest update of iTunes and Windows computers. What you need to do is remove and reinstall iTunes, and make sure that you follow the steps in this support document exactly. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923. If you do not follow them exactly, you will just compound your problems. Once you do this, you should have no trouble having the phone recognized in iTunes.

My iPhone 5c and iPad mini won't charge. Can both charger ports be broken at the same time?

MMy iPhone 5c is dead and wont charge. My iPad mini also won't charge. So I thought it was my charge wire or charging block might be the proble. I've used other wores and other blocks and also plugged it into by laptop and neither are charging. So it would see that the charging port is broken on both. But it seems odd that both would break on the same day. Both are under a year old and I only ever use official Apple charging devises. Help!

It sounds like your iPhone 5c and iPad mini are not charging. It does seem odd that both devices are not charging from multiple chargers.
There are a few more steps that may help you charge your devices. Next, I'd try steps 1, 2, 4 and 5 from the article If you can’t charge your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
If the battery doesn’t charge, unplug your device and try these steps:
Look at the connector at the bottom of your device and make sure it’s free of debris.
If you're using a USB power adapter, make sure it's plugged in all the way and the power outlet is working. If you're connecting to a computer, make sure it's on and can charge your device. To charge an iPad, you might need to use a USB power adapter and plug into a power outlet.
Try a different USB cable, USB power adapter, or USB port.
If everything seems to be working, reconnect your device and wait for 30 minutes.
If your device still doesn’t charge, try to restart it while it's connected to power. If you can't restart, reset your device.
If your devices still don't charge after trying all of these steps, the article suggests contacting Apple Support:

Try upgrading your Mac to the newest version of OS X Mavericks, and try upgrading your iPhone and iPad to the newest version of iOS 7.
OS X Mavericks may not be in the Mac App Store by now, but you can find the newest version of Mavericks here at download.com: http://download.cnet.com/Apple-Mac-OS-X-Mavericks/3000-18513_4-76018588.html. Note: Download.com it a safe website to download free software.

Iphone AND Ipad won't update to iOS4.2 Itunes updated w newest version

My Iphone 4 and Ipad 3G will not update to the newest iOS it keeps telling me network was timed out shortly after the download was almost finished...it's been over a month and I STILL get the same thing. I have the newest Itunes. I do not understand why it is not updating.. please help.

Hmm that's odd it's not working for you. My fiance was having the same issue with upgrading his phone. He took down all his antivirus/antispyware software and firewalls on his own computer and he upgraded his phone with the first try.
If you have spy ware such as Spy-bot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, SuperAnti Spyware and etc, you must turn those off too. I selected "Download and Upgrade".
If you turned it all off, try the "download only" then once it downloads upgrade it by clicking upgrade? Maybe that will work?
Also if you have two firewalls, you must turn both off. I had two running without knowing LOL
