My iphone 4s automatically getting turned off (blank black screen) and not getting started until full battery discharge. Even on long pressing power button - screen doesn't showing anything - not even "needs charging logo".
This is happening only since I have updated to new ios version (ios 8.1).
Is there anyone facing similar issue?? Any suggestion?!?

Thanks for the straightforwardness roaminggnome - I wasn't sure if this problem qualified as deseving a reset. Unfortunately, for some reason I can't explain, your response remained undisclosed to me for a while, the next reply after yours took preference and I ended up doing as Meg St.Clair's susgested and initiated download, installation and syncing of Smartsync which is now taking ages to finish... If problem persists shall do the resetting and restoring.

Hello i want to tell you my problems and what i did until now.
I have hp pavilion dv3 4150st. I was using win7 64 bit . and i was geting an error that says "display driver amd driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered".I started to get this eror often . And a few days later my pc startet to get blue screen errcor after a few second later than display driver error. . And after 2-3 blue screen error i lost my screen. It was blank black . when i restart pc the screen was blank black. there was no image. When i started to fix another monitor, i saw screen . And i installed the win 7 with another external monitor. Bu i had still black screen after install the windows.. Itand was still black after i remove the ectgernal monitor. I installed bios again but i had still black screen. And i tried the install ati display driver after installing windows . But after i installed the display driver, i had the blue screen error again. And now i have still both blank black screen and blue screen problem.
I cleaned the motherboard. I resetted bios. I installed bios. i installed windows again. i installed ati display driver.But these couldnt solve the problems. Please can you tell me what can i do now ?

I grasp that you were getting the error "display driver amd driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered" quite often. Then a few days later you got the blue screen then the above error message, after 2 -3 more errors the screen is now blank or black. Here is a document to assist you with this. Sorry, you have lost me since it appears that you have two completely separate issues here.
All that I can suggest is you start over and try to set up the Time Capsule again first...and then, once that is done and the Time Capsule is working correctly on the network....then, try to troubleshoot the separate Time Machine issue.
If you decide that you want to do this, we'll need some basic information:
Make and model number of your modem?
You are using OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), correct?

My new iPhone 6 plus just went to a black screen and will not turn back on. If you hit the home button for siri to come on it still works, and if you plug it into the wall it makes the vibrate noise. The screen just won't turn on.

I was looking up a song on the internet, and my internet was being slow, so i was going to the settings to turn internet/wifi off so i could use data. When i did that the screen just went completely black. I didnt know what happened so i plugged it into a circuit into the wall to see if it needed charging. It made the buzz noise when i plugged it into the charger, and siri still works if you hold the home button down. I don't know what to do to get it to turn back on... If anyone knows what to do please help. thanks !

HT201210 My iphone 4s completely shut down to a black screen and will not come on after I received the restore iPhone message.

Tried restore through Apple ITunes software and received an error message unable to restore device. Now my phone will not turn on at all. Yet it is charged. I can't do anything.

Black screen - can not get in touch with my Ipod Nano

I have an Ipod Nano, latest model. After a short time the monitor shuts down and turns black / standby, can ths be disable?
I use my Nano with the Nike Ipod censor when I run, and it is diffical to get in touch with my Ipod Nano, when the screen after a short time have been black.
Should I see my runningdata or to stop the censor when I'm finishs running, and press the screen nothing happens.
Press I on / off button, so either I get a voice that tells a lot about my run, or push me 2 times on / off button toggles track.
If I press the + or -, I change the volume.
Keeps press on / off button, turn off my Ipod Nano and all my recording of my run is lost ...

Possible causes:
1. Your antivirus is blocking access to gs.apple.com.
2. Your phone is jailbroken.
3. Your computer has been used at some time in the past to jaibreak some iOS device (not necessarily the phone with the problem), and its network database was corrupted by the hacking software that was used.
4. Apple's activation servers are down (very rare, and never for more than an hour or so).
For 1. try disabling your antivirus.
For 2. & 3. you need to go somewhere other than an apple forum for help. Although you can try deleting lines containing gs.apple.com from your "hosts" file on your computer.

Try searching for the name of one of your videos on the iPad's spotlight search screen - swipe your first homescreen to the right, type in it's name, and if it finds it tap on it to see if it plays.
If that doesn't work then I normally suggest closing the Videos app via the taskbar and re-opening it, and then a reset by pressing and holding both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds unilt the Apple logo should appear - but as it sounds like you've alreadt tried that, then see if the spotlight search works.

Try a reset by pressing and holding the Power and Home buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.
Was the battery replaced by Apple or an authorized repair facility? If not, and any warranty existed, that warranty is now void.

My 4S iphone keeps trying to turn off during phone calls and drops the calls. Sometimes I have to call back 3-4 times to finish a conversation.

Well, then I'm glad this is most probably not a hardware issue - at least not an exceptional, maybe defect of all? -. This seems to be a good idea, because 2G will nearly everywhere available, so phone calls are not likely to drop at all. I'm just a bit confused, because they promised intelligent switch even during calls. For me that means that if the better, faster connection is available, then it uses that, and if it wouldn't be, then it switches to the slower one.
