My iPhone 4S battery refuses to charge past 1 percent. Why is that, and how do I stop it?
While I was out I check my iPhone at 90% battery. I checked it 5 minutes later and it was reduced to one percent. I had the Wifi off, and the Bluetooth off, and plugged it into a wall charger. Now it won't go past one percent. Help!

You can always transfer the photos via your computer using a cable.

Help! I updated iTunes on my windows 7 laptop and I updated my iOS on my iphone4 and I used a USB to plug it into my computer but it doesn't have the "iPhone"" icon appear in the corner of the screen. I have an Iphone 4S, with IOS 7 operating system. Replaced screen and phone would not charge. Took it to Phone Repair store, they replaced the battery, seemed to be the only problem at the time. Battery refused to charge, took back to shop, they replaced battery AGAIN. However.......The battery WILL NOT charge when plugged into charger! I have tried a different charger, a new outlet, had the phone checked by the phone repair shop (after 2.5 hours, could not deteremine the issue). Have tried to restore it back to factory settings, have tried a new charging port, have exhausted my brain!!! Anyone else ever have this problem, and was the phone just a "goner" or was there something within it that could be fixed? Upgrade is in 2 months, so I don't really want to spend money on a new one.Yep, the internal clock battery sounds like it has died. This battery has to be replaced by a service technician. It is inside the case.

Battery won't charge past 80% U460
Today I noticed my battery won't charge past 80% on my U460 laptop. I bought it around 9/30/2010 and currently using Windows 7 home edition. Tried completely discharging it and regarging and still no luck. I find it hard to believe it could be already dying on me with how I take care of it . Any help?

Why won't my iphone4s charge past five percent? It's been like this for two days.
For the past two days, my iPhone 4s hasn't been charging past 5%! My phone has the charging symbol like its charging but it doesn't go up or down.
I haven't changed the charger and it's not because of the new ios 8 update. My phone charged perfectly fine after the update.

My phone went down to 1% and it's not going up or down.
I'm thinking of changing the charger but I'm not sure it's going to change because it's registering that it's charging.
Could it be my phone?Have you tried connecting it to a computer that has iTunes?

Hello, I have a problem with my iphone 4 battery, it looses 20% over the night with wifi on and without receiving any phone call or notification. It also uses 1 or 2% each time I check my iphone even if it is just to check up my messages. Is it normal? Please someone give me a solution
Yes this is fairly normal. When you have wifi on the phone, it drains the battery life of the device.

Does anyone know what's up with the iPhone 4s' battery life? Some days it last a long time and other days it drains extremely fast.
Not to point out the obvious, but battery life depends very much on what is running and how much the device is being used.
If the battery lasts longer on a day you make no phone calls, but lasts less the day you make 5 hour long calls, this is to be expected.
If however the iPhone has the same level of use on both days, with different power consumption, this would infer a background process (or App) is trying to do something (connecting to server or creating a back up etc).
I switched off all thrid party apps from being included in my iCloud backup, which saves a huge amount of space on the cloud and allows the back up to take barely a couple of minutes.
Battery life seems ok so far on my 64GB 4S (Bluetooth on, Wi-Fi on, Location Services on, Push notifications on, Screen set to just under half brightness with Auto Adjust on) -
Only some of the photos I have taken on my iPhone appear in the photo stream on my iPad even thou they were taken at the same time. Why is this and how can I import the other photos from my iPhone to my iPad?
If older photos are missing it may be because photo stream photos are only held in iCloud for 30 days. After that they are removed from iCloud but will remain (up to 1000 photos) on your device until deleted. Also, only photos taken after enabling photo stream are added to your photo stream, and only when the camera is closed, your device is connected to wifi and you have at least 20% battery life remaining.
To transfer the missing photos you can either create a shared photo stream containing them and invite yourself to it (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99), import the photos to your computer and sync them to your iPad, or use an app like PhotoSync to transfer them to your iPad over wifi. -
Why does my iPhone automatically enter my entire email address when I simply type "gmail" and how to I turn it off? It also does it whenever I type it in Safari (but not Chrome) and it only does it with one of my email addresses and not any of my other ones (i.e., yahoo, hotmail, etc.).

The unlocked IPhone 4S models will not be available until November, Why is that? Why would Apple do that? I should be able to buy a factory unlocked Apple iPhone 4S when it comes out! I travel all over the world, and so that is why I need one like that. It is unfair to the consumer, and frankly turning away customers like myself willing to pay high dollar to Apple for their product, who can I speak with to complain about this, because I know their are factory unlocked iPhone 4S' sitting in a warehouse somewhere just waiting to be shipped, and I want one. I know why, cause Apple signed contracts with each carrier so the carrier could increase their sales making customers sign 2 year contracts, I get it, I own my own business, but the delay of releasing factory unlocked ones is just not right and I should be able to buy one without having to buy it over in the UK where it is unlocked when it comes out right away, I should be able to buy it in my own country! These business practices we practice in the US need to stop, their is a demand that needs to be met with consumers like myself who don't need subsidized iPhone's with 2 year contracts with carriers and don't mine paying full price for an unlocked one, it is unethical in a sense, forcing the customer to buy it with a carrier contract and NOT giving the customer the option to buy it full price and own it themselves, OR, making the consumer wait a month for that option to be available. THEY SHOULD BE RELEASED AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!! THAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!!!!!!
Apple can contact me and I will proudly pay for one. But making me wait a month for an unlocked one, puts AT&T, Sprint & Verizon's interests before mine, and that is not right, for it is MY money that keeps you guys in business, so my best interests should come first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I understand your frustration, but when any form of rationing is required you have to prioritise. The number of unlocked vs packaged phones will be quite small and the number of unlocked buyers wishing to upgrade immediately will be smaller still. Against this you have the corporations sharing $billions between them.
It would, you're correct, have been fairer to release all at the same time, but fairer doesn't come into it: it's business. -
I recently aquired an iphone 4s due to the fact that our parent corporation requires us to use either a blackberry or iphone in order to have the protection needed to use their email. In MS Exchange, when I recieve an email, I read it once, then it's gone. Very frustrating as I need to keep those emails available. Where do they go and How do I stop this from happening?
i actually got it figured out. I have multiple email accounts i have to use due to different corporate offices ( which can be a real headache at times). The exchange account is an active server used by Hilton and its an actual account. What was happening is my mail was getting kicked back to their server for storage. Once I contacted Hilton, they corrected it on their end. Thanks for trying to help out.
