My iphone 4s has korean characters and 1 icon that looks like IC at the back panel and KCC-CMM-APA-A1387. Compared to the other iphone 4s that have 6 icons printed. Serial number is recognized by apple systems though like App Store, Coverage Check etc. Should i be worried about the authenticity of this product? I got it at a Mall shop that sells apple products but I am not so comfortable about the difference of the icons at the back. I told them about my issue and they said if it were bootleg I wouldnt be able to register the product and the serial number which I was able to do. Help please.
Oops sorry. My bad. I'm in the Philippines. I'm quite concerned because i know a lot of bootlegged stuff go around the market here. Yes, they told me it was unlocked and not tied up with a local network carrier so I can use any network sim card with it. The icons on the phone and all functions are available and working well like all iphone 4Ss that i have tried. Its just the icons printed at the back panel of the phone that are different, the ones that look like FC X C E etc printed at the back of a common iphone. Mine has an icon that looks like IC only.

I am not able to open the settings icon from my old iPAD. When I try to select the settings icon it looks like it's about to launch and open however; it will not stay open. I am trying to transfer all my data from my old iPAD to my new 4th gen iPAD.
Try a soft reset - press the home and power bottons and keep them pressed until the Apple logo comes on. Then see if you can access Settings.

What's the icon that looks like a hard drive? (But isn't)
When I download something off of the internet (HandBreak, in this case) I get the .dmg file which then uncompresses the application, correct? Then, I get the icon that looks a bit like an external hard drive and it appears under Devices in the Finder's sidebar. My question is: what is that icon and what do I need to do with it? Does it need to get moved into the Application folder? Do I delete it? Just not sure.

You need to click on it. If there's an application inside, move that to the Applications folder. If there's a brown package icon inside, double-click it.

No.
Serial numbers are Mac only or Windows only. There is a platform swap process (from Mac to PC etc) but only for CS6.
As a CS5 owner, your choices are to either pay to upgrade to CS6 for Mac or join the Cloud. -
IPhone; Am I able to publish apps that looks like each other?
I am currently on my way to create an app for a carpenter. It will present his company along with a GPS solution and some other stuff. I got a question from one of his friends that asked if we could do such an app for him as well, just changing the logo, the pictures and other company-related stuff. I said yes, but then I got uncertain; Am I able to use my own code and just do these small changes and publish it as a separate app?
I can't find anything about it in the developer agreement, and I can't imagine any drawback for Apple regarding this.
Furthermore, if this doesn't violate the agreement we'll probably have more companies that want this app (with their own info of course).
I guess it's allowed, but I want to be sure before I invest my time in this.
Any ideas?No one here can promise what will or won't be approved, sorry.

I upgraded to Lion last month AFTER wiping the hard drive for the second time on my 2011 macbook pro. I am now suspecting that transferring my photos (I have over 8,000 saved on sd cards) to my computer is bringing all this trouble.
I was able to rectify some problems by dragging import file from library to desktop etc... But I am worried that these Copied Libraries and recovered photo files and AlbumData.xml file are a sign of something darker loomng ahead...Sorry but we have no idea what's going on, or gone on, on your machine. Neither can we see it. We only have your somewhat sketchy post. You mention that you can rectify "some problems", you mention "all this trouble" but neglect to mention what these problems and trouble actually are. So, I'm afraid it's hard to respond to your post in a meaningful way.
A couple of thoughts: 8,000 photos is not a problem. iPhoto is good for 250,000 in any one library. So, unless you have very limited HD disk space, this is not the source of whatever issues you are having.
If you're dragging parts of the iPhoto Library around the place, yes there could be trouble ahead. Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things, deleting them or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
There are two ways to get a copied library: one is to duplicate the Library yourself (either accidentally or deliberately) or while restoring from back up.

By the battery icon, do you mean the one I've attached below? If so, it's just a new security measure by Firefox to prevent malicious plug-ins from running automatically. The button is provided there in-case you disagree, so that you may enable it for that particular site. It's also there in-case you want to disable certain plug-ins for other sites. Can I have the back panel of my iPhone 5s replaced (it is damaged, but the phone is still operational) if i come into an Apple store?
I have applecare plus, but this only covers operational issues or 2 accidental issues (ex., water damage, drop and phone operation is affected).
