My iphone 4s is 70% of the time sat in no service
even though the household has full signal, plus my camera doesnt seem to be very good, i got the phone in july this year,can i get a replacement ?
Go in Apple Store! If your warranty is valid, you must pretend a regenerated iPhone ( only mother board is "old", all the rest of components are new!)

Plug the device into a wall outlet and leave it for about 20 minutes. If it has not powered on at that point try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for about 15 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.

I'm assuming you have Photo Stream set up of both devices. However, it seems many users are experiencing the same as you - my take is that streaming photos is not foolproof yet.

The clock on my iPhone 5C is not updating the time unless the phone is totally turned off and rebooted, or the airplane mode is turned on for a few seconds and then turned off. A "reset" and a full "erase all..." did not help. Any ideas?

My iPhone has just started getting the time wrong. Whether I have 'set automatically' on or off, it still sets the clock and hour ahead of the real time. If I reset it correctly, within 10m it has incorrectly reset it. It is amazingly frustrating!

It sounds like you are not able to erase just one letter when backspacing. I recommend following steps in the tutorial below to address an issue like this (you can skip step 2 "Recharge iPhone" because it's not related to this issue). I think the step to reset your iPhone my be particularly useful in this scenario:
To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

When I am abroad (living in Norway) the phone only temporarily (and seldom) connects to a network. Most of the time is says "no service" in top left corner...From advice I have tried to turn it on/off...with and without sim installed...roaming makes no diff. Can anyone help me?

If she has full reception and connection with the same cell phone carrier where you don't - with you both using a SIM card provided by the same carrier while in Norway with an unlocked iPhone, then make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby to have a diagnostic test run on your iPhone.
In the interim, I would contact this cell phone carrier in Norway to ensure your iPhone is provisioned properly. They can run a reset for your account that will require powering your iPhone off, so call them with your wife's iPhone for this. -
IPhone 5 using data all the time
My husband has had his iPhone 5 for a couple of weeks. We have Verizon 300 mb plan, as he is mainly just using it for calls and text. But it is using data all the time! Today our online Verizon account is showing 59 episodes of data usage. They are small, but still, why are they there? All he has done is call and text. He would like to keep the cellular data on because he texts by talking to it. He did not send anything close to 59 texts.n was not on the Internet.
We have turned off practically everything. Location services, stocks, weather, email, notifications for everything except text and calls. Stopped it from sending data to Apple. He has added only 4 apps- cam wow, talking bird, talking cat, and free cell solitaire. Not signed in for iCloud or Facebook or anything.Is Digi a CDMA carrier? or is it GSM/UTMS?
If CDMA, that's normal. The technology was not designed for data and calling.
If its GSM, give them a call to seek resolution. -
IPhone panel comies up all the time in iTunes
I often leave my iphone docked and iTunes open but minimized during the work day. itunes generally plays music most of the day.
Most of the time the iphone screen is dark and itunes is displaying the currentl playlist. Every few minutes, however, the iphone will chime, show the battery charge graphic and then the itunes window will maximize and switch over to the iphone panel.
This gets pretty annoying, both because it's distracting and because when itunes is displaying the iphone panel, the aluminum keyboard's itunes keys don't work. You have to bring itunes forward and command-L to jump back to the playlist panel before the keyboard works again.
Is anyone else seeing this?You cannot.

Hello. Yesterday i was using my iphone and it froze on me. i was using my 3g as wifi and also the time wouldnt display at the top. i locked it and now it wont turn on. i pressed all of the buttons a few times and when i got home, i plugged it in. i can hear the ding indicating that im charging it, but the screen still wont turn on. please help, i really dont want to reset it either!!

I have entered dates and specific times on my computers icloud calendar. When I view the dates and times on my iphone the times are three (3) hours later. I have checked the time zone settings on my iphone and it is correct (EST). Where do I go next?
Restoring is the answer. It sounds as if there is a rogue process constantly draining your battery.
The issue you face is that, if you restore your backup thereafter, you risk the problem coming straight back with your files.
Store your files individually and it is time to start fresh. -
Iphone 6 shutting off all the time
I've had an original iphone and an iphone 4 that the genius bar helpers were always very easy to work with and always gave me the right of hand when i needed a replacement.
This iphone 6 has been a nightmare, I've had it for less then one month and even after it being restored it kept SHUTTING OFF all the time!!!! I explained this to the rep.
However as a misfortune, the day I had scheduled my appointment the phone fell from my computer desk and shattered
Even with the 22 reported crashes I was still forced to pay $83 dollars to get a replacement refurbished phone!!!!
I have apple care, att insurance, and none of that crap covered the phone that was obviously defective due to its cosmetics.
this was absurd and I am very upset with apple and especially with the way the genius bar is now, inconsiderate with the public, not only do i get a piece of crap refurbish phone, this one is STILL SHUTTING OFF ALL THE TIME.
Anyone else having their iphone 6 shutting off constantly???Update it to 8.1 and see if that helps. Otherwise Restore it as a new iPhone, not from your backup, and see if that helps. If it does you have an app that is misbehaving. You could also have a nanoSIM that needs to be replaced.

carri-bondHi, thank you very much for your reply. No my phone was never been jailbreak-ed. Never been dropped in water or in any wet surface. Dropped on the floor while texting yes, but it was just a one time incident, last year august i can clearly remember, but after that no more (phone still works fine even after.) restored the phone again earlier, but problem still occured. Will try to go to Apple also to ask and have it checked. Just worried because my phone is already out of warranty. Will keep you posted. Again, thanks. If you have any more advice just let me know. It would mean a lot.

IPhone 4 won't load The Times website! Why?
I am a UK iPhone 4 owner and I wanted to see how well the retina display faired with TheTimes.co.uk but as the loading bar got to the co part of the URL it crashed, but safari was still running in the background but I opened it only to take me back to the google search for the address. Why is this? I have rebooted my iPhone twice but no change.
Does it to mine too. It's their website.
