My iphone 4s is not booting up and resetting it isnt working
Randomly today, i turned my phone off. tried turning it back on and it just stays at the apple boot logo. Ive tried a hard reset but have yet to try a computer restore. the only problem is is a computer i tried connecting to with a usb cord didnt work as well. the computer couldnt discover it. its under warrenty but id rather not leave the house. this has happened with my ipod before. last time i was able to go to them and they told me to download their restore software off of the website but ive yet to try it. i need this fixed asap. my phone is my life. its a 64gb. respond soon with help please.

It rained in my window last night, on my power strip. My macbook adaptor (charger) and iphone adaptor were both plugged into the strip. The power strip is dead. Iphone is fine. Some liquid has just spilled into your Mac. What should you do?
Do
Immediately shut down the computer and unplug the power cord.
Remove the computer's battery (if you can)
Disconnect any peripherals (printers, iPods, scanners, cameras, etc.)
Lay the computer upside down on paper towels to get as much liquid as possible to drip out.
Note what was spilled on your Mac.
Bring the computer into an Apple store or AASP as soon as possible.
Don't
Don't try to turn it back on. Liquids can help electrical current move about the components of your Mac in destructive ways.
Don't shake the computer (this will only spread the liquid around).
Don't use a hair dryer on it (even at a low setting a hair dryer will damage sensitive components).
Do not put in a bag of rice in as much as rice will get into the ports and optical drive and do further damage. -

Unfortunately, you can't restore an iCloud backup without using wifi so that isn't an option. -
I have an iphone 5s, does not boot, blinking white screen with black logo, when trying itunes restore from mac and pc, error code 4013 which is usb error, any ideas? Does a totally dead battery have that effect? I have had it plugged in to a computer overnight, but maybe does not charge when totally dead?

iPhone 4s will not boot after trying to install ios7 beta 4. Stops at apple logo with progress line under it. how can I reset it or get it back up to do a restore then try the iOS 7 beta 4 install again. Issue was probably caused by disconnection
Obviously since you have iOS 7 you're a developer. As a developer, you signed a NDA with Apple not to discuss the iOS on a public forum. Please log in to the Developer Forum using your credentials and ask for help there, lest you risk having your credentials terminated.

I have my iPhone 5 was a few weeks and today is the phenomenon been diving that I now have tomorrow the electric cable from the iPhone 5 and was hours after 3 the battery descended from 100% to 0% and was very hot, so I have the iPhone off 5 and after 1 hour, it was still hot after 2 hours dan the iPhone had a normal temperature but not turned on.
After work, came home and tried to charge the iPhone to 5 batarrie but without successes the behavior that was the logo of Apple has switched on and off and had not boot load and not for the out put of the cable itself has immediately iPhone 5 off.

Other than this, my iPhone works just fine. I will not re-install the iOS.

My iPhone 4 will not turn on and is just displaying the itunes symbol not the apple symbol. How do I fix it? My phone died and I went to plug it in and it just displayed the itunes logo. It will not turn on at all. I plugged it into my computer in an attempt to connect to itunes with hoped of it turning on, yet nothing popped up as if it wasn't registering. Please help!

PLAYBOOK WILL NOT BOOT UP AND NO RESOLUTION IN SIGHT

I bought my PB quite recently and now my PB can not boot up and there is NO RESOLUTION in sight. I don't even know whether my problem is software or battery related.
First my PB can not boot up. The last time I used it , the power level was just under 50%. I managed to charge PB to full power (I knew this because LED showed a solid green light). When I tried to start PB, LED showed a red light briefly (for 4 seconds) then everything went off.
I tried all the solutions appeared in this web site:
1/connect to a power charger then press power on/off button for (10,20,30, and more seconds)
2/connect to a laptop and press power on/off button for (10,20,30, and more seconds)
3/start PB by holding down power on/off and + and - buttons at the same time for 10,20,30, and more seconds
4/start PB by holding down power on/off and + and - buttons at the same time for 10,20,30, and more seconds with friends (several friends will help me pressing these buttons in different combinations while other check the clock for 10,20,30, or more seconds). (we were called victims of PlayBook around the office nowadays).
Anyone has other solutions for us ?Try plugging the PlayBook into your computer, then open the BlackBerry Desktop Software. Your computer will try to connect to your PlayBook and when it is unsuccessful in doing this, it should show a message on the screen saying that the Desktop Software cannot connect to your device and will give you a few options. Select the option to update the device software. This will likely wipe your PlayBook and return it to factory condition, but at least you will have a functioning PlayBook again.
If that still doesn't work, go to http://blackberry.com/support/, select PlayBook, then choose the Contact Us tab. You should now be provided with a phone number you can use to contact RIM in your country.

after much head scratching I ran the hardware test disk from cd. The test showed a memory issue I eliminated the faulty one systematically. So it wasn't a hard drive or software problem in the end it was faulty memory. What was misleading was the computer telling me there was a fault on the hard drive. The machine works fine now. Thanks to people's comments I learned a bit more about the G5 that helped eliminate probable causes

If you cannot acces to the boot menu by pressing F8 you can try to recover the the master boot record from Windows Xp professional installation Cd, to do this:
Attention: don't run these commands if you have more than one operating systems running in your laptop.
Boot from Windows Xp installation cd
Choose repair installation from console by pressing "C" key.
A console will open asking you for administrator password, insert the password and press enter.
Run de command: FIXMBR (It will write a new boot record)
Run de command: FIXBOOT (It will write a new boot file)
Restart the laptop and now windows should start without problems.

If you are running Snow Leopard:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.
If you are running Lion or later:
Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks without erasing drive
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. if possible because it isthree times faster than wireless. -
Iphone 4s won't boot on and itunes doens't detect it when on battery. Plug it in and Apple logo appear then disappear, try to recover, but there's a 1602 error. Is it dead?
Its weird, when I plug it into wall AC, I was able to boot into the home screen, but there's wifi cant turn on. Plug out the phone turn off immediately. I tried to jailbreak it with snowbreeze because someone has the same problem with his iphone 4, but snowbreeze doens't work with iphone 4s.

Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.
