My iPhone 4s keeps coming up with the message 'sim failure'.
If i put my dads microsim in my phone to check whether it is my phone or the sim card will my warranty be voided?
its likely to be your phone, im having the same problem with mine at the moment, iv tried my sim in other phones and its been fine and iv tried other sims in my phone and its come up sim failure every time. chances are your sim is fine its just your phone thats causing the troubles.

I am not sure what generation my Apple TV is, I bought it a couple of years ago, but cannot update it no matter what I try. I would really like to update it, but don't know how. I try to update it and it runs for a long, long time and then says it can't update at this time.
Well, I fixed it and was able to download the latest Apple TV update. This is to help anyone who has this problem with an older Apple TV. On Apple's website it suggested that you "reset" and restart the Apple TV setting it back to the Factory default. That is what I ended up doing and it worked. Then all you have to do is sign on again and set up Netflix. I also set my Apple TV to download updates automatically now.
Good luck to all those having this problem. It took me months to solve this. -

I would recommend making sure you are updated to iOS 7.0.3 and see if that resolves your issue as it provides a fix for issues related to iMessage. If the issue persists I would recommend going through the troubleshooting steps in two articles I have attached below.

My ipjone keeps coming up with a message say that the cable or accessory urged in is not a reliable source for this iPhone but I do not have Nything plugged in to my iPhone. I Put it in a bowl of rice for 2 hours to see if that would help it but it hasn't. Is there anything thank can do???
Clean the connector on the bottom of the phone. Use a magnifying glass, bright light, and a wood or plastic toothpick. If you got the phone wet put it in a bag of uncooked rice for several days, not hours.

If you have 64bit Vista or Windows 7, look for the seperate download of iTunes for that further down the page.
Once installed, use the Apple Software Update under your Start Menu to fully update all Apple components.
Your content will remain on the drive in the Music > iTunes Folder, nothing is deleted.
You should be making backups of your content regularly, either through iTunes or via copying the iTunesFolder in your Music folder to a external drive.
Windows is notorious for having "other" issues that make it unstable, we as volunteers helping others can't always resolve those issues. -
- started last week after downloading 8.3 - Apple logo keeps coming up with the reboot/download line below. Seems to happen after opening a site to view information or pictures or.......
this is getting more & more ridiculous......and worsening by the hour. Now every click on a Pages file makes it reboot....and just trying to save some files prior to doing a total restore as not sure what gets saved in the "back up" prior to the restore. The message you received indicates that the phone is locked to a carrier other than the one for which you have a SIM. You'll need to take the issue up with Apple. Nothing you do with iTunes is going to make a difference.
I'm quite surprised that the UK Apple Store replaced a U.S. purchased phone. They usually won't.
