My iphone 4s keeps freezing up since new update. Any suggestions
Since the new update my iphone has been having a lot of freeze ups. I did restart it but it did not help. It is happening to my ipad also.

Laptop keep freezing up since new
I bought a new Toshiba laptop Satellite Model A665-S6070 3 months ago that keeps locking up. At first it was gradual, but lately its been doing it constantly. The only way to get out of it is to shut down laptop and restart. I took it to Best Buy and they verified it in Reliability Manager that it has been doing it since new. They say it not hardware but software issue and they want $200 to fix. I have downloaded Bios update and N driver display update and it still does it. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

I wonder why it is that when someone wants a real answer and experiences from users as to why an Apple product doesn't work, there is usually an iCult member who somes to the defense of Apple as if being a disciple of God :-) That's not a slander. It's meant to be part truth, part humor.
Brody, your other answers are great and what I was wanting to hear about. However, I can see you get too defensive about your favorite company.
I'm not looking for a lecture on why Apple is so wonderful. I sincerely want to know the things I should look out about when buying an iMac and to hear solutions to problems form users with issues. I would not be so hesitate about buying an iMac if it weren't for my current issues with iTunes freezing and crashing on multiple computers, an iPhone4 that doesn't work in speakerphone mode, and an iPad coming dead on arrival (rare I understand). I've been an electronics system designer for more decades than you might think, so I am not dumb about equipment.
Now before anyone jumps to conclusions, I am not a proponent of Windows or any other specific competitive company. Every product has its issues and advantages. But let's get the fact right. Apple is not the most valuable computer company on earth because of the "machines". If they were, then they would own that market. They don't. They got to be so successful because of the nice selection and decent design of many various products and services (and at a high price too). Apple does some really clever things, but also some dumb things as well. I'm looking to avoid the dumb things. -

I tried everything and my iphone continued freezing. There is a new 7.0.2 update but im on iOS 6.1.4 now and i dont know if i can go back again. I live in Iran and there is no support here so if its goes wrong i will not be able to use my iPhone again
Downgrading the iOS is officially not supported by Apple. Instaling software to be able to downgrade can cause problems like these.

My iphone 4 keeps shutting down since i updated the device
I updated my iphone 4 and now the phone is shutting down whenever I attempt to use an app. For example, I went to use my camera to video my daughter's bedroom, and the phone shut down on me and did not come back on for about 15 to 20 minutes. Why is this happening? The phone was working properly before I updated the device.
I'm not looking for any warranty help or something, I just want a diagnosys of my phone's situation....
My phone is acting as if there was no battery in the phone. When there is no cable plugged, nothing happens. When there is a cable, something happens (not a lot though....).
Could it be the battery port on the motherboard that's down ?
PS : I've taken a Genius-bar appointment because I can't stand in that situation for years, so I'm not absolutely looking to gain money and avoid Apple's official help. -
Photoshop and After Effects is not installing with the new updates, any suggestions?
Each time the update says that the "update failed". I have tried the update several times, both on my laptop and my iMac. Photoshop finally installed on the iMac, but neither will update on the MacBook Pro.
This is a bit of a shot in the dark, but check to make sure that you have Rosetta installed in Mac OS and then try again to install After Effects. I know that Mac OS has a (mistaken) dependency on Rosetta for After Effects to run. It _may_ be that this dependency also causes a problem with installation.

When you do get After Effects CS4 installed, be sure to immediately update to After Effects CS4 (9.0.2). -

Ever since I downloaded ios7, my iPhone 4s keeps freezing when trying to connect to wifi. Help?
My iPhone 4s keeps freezing whenever I try to connect to wifi. It either won't even open wifi, and when it does, it'll freeze as soon as wifi is open. I can force quit the settings area, and it unfreezes the iPhone, but it doesn't fix the settings area, which is still frozen. I have come to points when I can connect to wifi, but it only lasts about 30 seconds before dropping the connection. This happens everywhere, even at home, when I'm right next to the router. What should I do?
Try resetting your settings. Settings > General > Reset.
I had this happen shortly after updating and it worked when I reset.
Doesn't delete anything though. -

The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...

If you try all these steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...

How exactly are you "forcing shut down?"
Try a restore in iTunes:
Plug in the iPhone to a computer with iTunes loaded on it, launch iTunes, locate the phone under DEVICES. Press Restore, and let it restore to factory settings. When it is done, you can:
Set Up as New iPhone
Restore from Backup
You want to try restoring from a backup first so you won't lose your data, but if the freezes continue you may have to set it up as new and then resync all of your purchased media. -

Thats just it. The seller had the listing as BRAND NEW iPhone 4.
Then after the purchase he said that it was just replaced by apple, had the stickers from apple on it and everything.... honstly I wouldn't swear for the seller but thats what he had it listed as.
He gave me the run around until my time to open a case was up... he even had me ship it back to him just to kill time. now I have it again. What looks to be a expensive paper weight. -

My ATT Iphone 3GS keeps freezing and shutting down, now won't turn on at all. tried to do an update and restore but it froze in restore at about 20% done, waited 5hrs for it to go, it didn't. Not sure what to do or where to go (ATT or Apple) to get help, how much it could cost? HELP PLEASE!

My iPhone 5 keeps freezing when I connect to wifi, not just freeze the wifi, but freezes the whole phone and have to hold home and lock button. Locks up completely and instantly when I turn on wifi and connect. Solutions?
1. If you are really on iOS 7.1, you may wish to try upgrading to 8.1.2 which is the latest (basing this on your signature).
2. If updating the phone doesn't help, is this only when you connect to a specific wifi network? Or all wifi networks (including public with no password)? If it is ALL wifi networks, you may have a hardware problem. Genius bar would be the next step.
