My iphone 4s only allows group message to 25 contacts?

I need to send group message to about 60 contacts and I have updated my settings to allow group messages; however, it still only allows me to input 25 contacts. Any recommendations?

Why wipe the contacts? I'm not questioning your method, just what it actually does. Would I wipe the SIM contacts or the phones contacts?

Hi,
The first run of Messages will ask you to enter an Apple ID to "register' with iMessages.
If you do not do this but open the App and look in Preferences > Accounts then you will see the iMessages account and the Bonjour Account which will not be activated.
Neither of these two account can be deleted. (even if not being used)
If you then press the + icon to add you will get the choices you posted.
To iMessage you need to "register" and Apple ID with the iMessages service.
As Diane then points out you can link this to your iPhone number.
This "syncs" (Displays on all devices) the various iMessages sent to either iPhone or Apple ID
You can then chose on both iPhone or Mac version how or which ID/Number is going to be used to "Start the conversations from"
I have my Mac version set to start from my Apple ID and the iPhone from it's number.
At this moment the Mac version cannot send SMS text messages to an iPhone.
This is apparently coming with iOS 8 and OS 10.10 (Yosemite)
An AIM account can send SMS Messages but only to a limited number of USA based phone users on these carriers.
(Basically you add a phone number with country code +1 as a Buddy to your List)
Mocked up number (It not really an auto responder although you do get sent back and Error message about it not being valid)

My iPhone won't receive group messages but I can send them ?

I've received group messages and sent them before on my iPhone 4S . Until recently I received group messages extremely late . And now I cannot receive group messages at all . I can start group messages and send them but I can't receive the messages that the people in the group send . My group messaging is on and I have already tried turning off my phone and turning it back on . I can receive regular text messages in one on one conversations perfectly fine . I don't really know what else to do ! Please help !

IPhone 5 lagging and group messages.

i got my iphone the day it came out and it has been lagging and even freezing on me. when i scroll through my pages and sometimes exit an app it slows down and even stops working sometimes. i also have a problem with my group messages. i get my notifications 30 seconds after the message comes in. its very annoying because ill be in my imessage app and the notification pops up after i have already responded to the message. any help or tips please? i dont have too many apps and i have around 6 GB of space left so i dont have too much stuff. and i dont have apps running in the backgroup when this stuff happens. im on AT&T if that helps. anything i can do please help.

I'm having a similar problem with my iPhone 4S! My 4S would lag horribly when I'm being bombarded with text message in the Group Message. It has gotten to points where the phone would freeze for a good 5 seconds. I'm extremely upset, this problem has never occured before and the 4S is supposed to still be able to keep up as of speed. I'm not sure if this was is a software issue or not, but I hope it is just an iOS6 issue that can be patched. I didn't have this problem when I was on iOS5. I also didn't spend $700 on a phone that's supposedly the fastest iPhone as little as a year ago, and now it's lagging like it's 2 generations behind.
Please, can someone help.

IPhone syncs only SOME of my Address Book contacts...?

Just realized I'm having a bit of a syncing issue... For some reason my iPhone is not including all of my contacts from Address Book. I have a total of 63 Address Book contacts, but my iPhone is only at 53!? If I add a new contact in my iPhone, it will carry over to Address Book, but it doesn't seem to be adding a few contacts from my list... Any ideas? I can't find any similarities between the missing contacts either. Oh, and I'm on the most current iPhone version as well.

Try resetting the sync history on your Mac.
Applications > iSync > iSync Preferences > Reset Sync History
After resetting the sync history, restart your Mac and then try syncing again

Can you only rename group messages in iOS 8 if all participants use iMessage?

I was super excited about the new features in Messages for iOS 8, but it only seems to allow me to rename a Group if all members of the group are iPhone users. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a real limitation to the feature?

HT203042 iMessage De-Register Fail - Receiving only Partial Group Messages

I deregistered iMessage from my iPhone, as well as deregistering through the website. Yet, I only receive partial group text messages - even though all members confirmed they deleted old threads.
How could this happen? What's the fix?

Thanks for the reply. That doesn't seem to directly address my issue although it is a pretty thorough instruction on sending a text message. Since I don't own an iPhone, can I infer the section that says you can turn off MMS means my friend might not have it turned on?

Yahoo on iphone will only allow replies, not a new mail...

I set up yahoo mail on my niece's iphone 3G and she can only reply or send pics but that little icon to compose a message is missing so she can't send any new messages out. How do I fix it?

I can't send picture messages or group messages to people without an iPhone.

I am unable to send pictures or group messages to my contacts that aren't iPhone users. Seems like this started happening since the last update. Very frustrated.

Sharing your precious memories is absolutely important and I'm so sorry for the concerns you're having. I appreciate all of the steps you've already completed so far. I took a deep dive in to the Razr Maxx HD and didn't find any reported concerns such as this.
To clarify, are you able to send picture messages to individuals or does it only fail when you try to send the same picture to multiple people at the same time? Are you able to send text messages?

What exactly does disabling Group Message accomplish?

I understand that, as of now, there is no way to remove yourself from a group message. However, I have a few questions about disabling group message in settings.
For instance, a friend sent a few of us a text about another friend. On my iPhone 4, I have group message disabled so my questions are:
1. If I reply for the person who sent the text, will EVERYONE see that text? Whether it be today or tomorrow? I have a long thread of messages with the original sender and I really don't want to delete the conversation.
2. If I send a text to someone who was also in the text, not the original sender, will everyone sent the message see my text? I've gotten texts from other people who were added in the conversation but not sure if when I reply to them, is it just THEM or everyone?
I'm not a fan of group messages and I'm always paranoid responding to people.

You can only sync the iPhone to 1 itunes library on one computer.
Erase and sync means just that-it will erase all content on it and sync it to the new computer.
As for the other stuff-no idea. Sorry, I don't use microsoft stuff.

Group messaging doesn't work after switching to Galaxy S4

1. Turned off imessage before switching
2. Disconnected my phone number from iTunes, iMessage, FaceTime, Apple, iCloud
3. Deactivated my phone from Apple, however I've gone back on to check 3 times and my phone keeps reappearing on there...not sure how this happens
4. Turned back on my old iphone and whiped it completely to brand new
I have two separate group messages: one with 2 iphone users, one with 3 iphone users. The group message with the 2 iphone users works fine. The group message with 3 iphone users works for ONE of the iphone users, but not for the other two.
They can text me individually and it sends as sms after attempting to send as imessage, but when in the group message it automatically sends as imessage and doesnt allow for the switch to sms.
I've called Apple Care 5 times already, and each time they've suggested something new, asking me to wait 24-hours and then try again. We've all deleted eachother messages and contacts as if we didnt exist any longer and then started a new thread which didnt work either.

It's difficult to determine by touch if the PB is hot enough to turn the fans on. Do you know the fan/s used to work while performing a certain function? There are two fans, both in the rear, one centered and the other by the power connection. Neither one turns on, even with the power adapter connected?
One fan "test" I've found to be relatively consistent between 800/867/1GHz TiBooks is to run Visualizer in iTunes for about 15 minutes with the power adapter connected. That has always created enough CPU activity to turn the fans on for every TiBook I've ever tested.
If no fans, I would try resetting the PMU and NVRAM first. If that doesn't work, then I'll take a guess and say there may be some difference in the 800/1GHz firmware (assuming all the hardware connections are correct, as you've stated, and the fans themselves function).

IPhone 4 sending duplicate text messages. ideas?

My iPhone is sending repeat text messages to my contacts that do not have iPhones. I have tried updating my iPhone and this doesn't seem to help.

That info is just as useless as the info from 02 lol, reboot device, update firmware, reset network settings, bla bla bla, I've heard them all as solutions to every problem I've had and it's never worked for any of them,
I've had no 3G for weeks O2 said it was because I was on ios6 (I lied) as they originally said it was because I didn't update to ios6, then they had me resetting settings even tho I told them problem was on their end, sure enough 100+ minutes of phonecalls and they finally admitted 4 of their transmitters in my area were damaged due to floods! Would of been easier to tell me that in the first place, they won't even speak to me unless I said I had updated to the latest software as they blame everything on apple, and if you do update they then blame it on updating!
Anyway...
My issue is my wife sends me a SMS and I get it twice within seconds of each other
I'm running 5.1.1 shes running 6.0
Problem was here when we both had 5.0
Problem was here when we both had 5.1
So it's not a firmware problem and apple has done diddly squat to fix it
The first is a text message the second is an iMessage both together or within seconds of each other
Pretty sure its her 3G connection at work failing to send the iMessage then sending a text message instead but then sending the iMessage at the same time because it just so happened to connect
No need to reset anything
