My iPhone 4S rings once and goes to voicemail after the os 7 update. Has anyone experienced this problem? How do I fix it?
I updated my fully functional IPhone 4S to OS7. Now when someone calls it rings once and goes to voicemail. Has anyone had this problem? How do I fix it? And yes I have restored my phone and reloaded it twice, still *****. It has turned into a Microsoft product.

Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)

has anyone experienced this problem: I am editing in FCP 7.0.3 on a Mac 10.6.8 - I have a clip in the browser that is full frame and fine and it matches the other clips in my bins but when I drop it into the time line it becomes a fully zoomed in version of itself and I can only see a small portion of the image. In the FCP Browser, click on the source clip that is showing up sized incorrectly to select it. Once it is selected, type Command + 9 to see the item properties for the clip. Either report those properties here, or take a screen shot of the item properties and post the screen shot here.
Next, click anywhere in your sequence timeline and then type Command + 0 {zero} to see your sequence settings. Either report those settings or take a screen shot of the sequence settings and post that screen shot here.

When using the iPhone with the Windows OS, you need to have the Apple Mobile Device Service running. It should start automatically when you start the computer, but sometimes things happen. Use this support document to try and restart the service. See if that helps.

I love my music alot , but two weeks ago I started losing songs three at a time or more......has anyone ever had this problem before?
Thanks roaminggnome....my teenage son uses this phone and hasn't backed it up...so I don't want to restore it to factory settings just yet. Tried your other suggestions with no joy so if it comes on normally after discharging the battery tonight I'll restore it after backing up all his contacts ,music etc.
I was curious as to what the fault actually is as no-one seems to have had this one where I've looked on the internet.
The phone was dropped and subsequently repaired through insurance in Sept 2011 and they issued me with another imea number so the complete internals of the phone must have been replaced by them so I hope that the fault is covered by their normal warranty on work carried out. I'm told by iTunes store to sign in which I do, but then it takes me straight to billing I enter the correct three digit security code, then what happens it tells me invalid Cvv. Could someone please tell me this what does my debit card have to do with my having a redeemed ITunes card to use, and why doesn't let me download my music. I use a iPhone 3GS. Thanks

AFter recent upgrade to ios 8.1.1, my iphone 6 no longer makes text alert sounds and ring does not sound for incoming calls (except on car bluetooth). has anyone experienced this, and if so, how did you correct?
I had the same problem until tonight. Played with ring tones, do not disturb, volume, and everything else posted. What I found is that when you go to sounds/text tone, there are two types of tones in the scrolling menu. The top set of tones are for alert tones and the bottom set are ringtones. They are separated by a gray bar that states their purpose. Many of the tones are the same name. You need to set your text alert in the Ringtones and reminders, alarms, and such in alerts. The weird thing about this menu is when you go to sounds/ringtone the menu is reversed. Mine works in locked mode or unlocked now. I have an Iphone 6 8.1.2. My problem started after my latest OS upgrade. Hope this helps.

When I try to download iPhone OS 5.1.0 on my PC I get this message "stopped (err = -3259)"and says it timed out at the server after the entire download. I have tried 3 times, it takes about 8 min. to download the 790.7 MB file. Has anyone had this problem and what is the fix?

Under the iCloud portion of settings on my iPhone, I have always gotten the message "account not verified". The email matches and is in fact the same for my accounts on iCloud and iTunes. Has anyone had this problem, and how have they resolved it?

My iTunes library says 4149 songs, my iPhone says 4148 songs, and my iPad says 4147 songs. Why don't they match?! How can I fix it???
Yes. I selected all songs and checked them (in case I missed a few) and synced. I have also tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling it. I tried selecting all songs and unchecking them, re-syncing my phone (which didn't get rid of the songs on my phone like i thought it would), then selected all songs again, checked them, and resynced again--nothing changed. I went to the iTunes store and selected "Check for all available downloads" and it gave me the message"All purchases have been downloaded for this account." I checked for duplicates, deleted a few and resynced. This reduced the number of songs, but it still doesn't match what the iTunes library says...I don't know what to try next...

One the Macs go to System Preferences > iCloud. Switch Contacts off
On the iPhone tap Settings > iCloud. Switch Contacts off
Restart the Macs.
Restart the iPhone.
Switch Contacts back on all devices. -
Last week my iPhone 5 would only be down 5-10% in 24 hours. I mostly text and e-mail. After the 6.1 update yesterday it has been 20 hours since the last charge and it is down 60%. Something is up
Sounds like all the settings that you may have adjusted to save power (screen brightness etc etc) have been defaulted back to factory.
If you jump into all the settings and turn off what you dont need and turn down what you do need it will be the same as before.

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:
